Matatabi disdainfully sharpened her claws.

Yugito said huffily.

Matatabi giggled mischievously.

"What would I have to feel sorry about... as long as I don’t hurt his face..."

Yugito’s voice grew smaller and smaller.

Matatabi was already laughing her ass off, stroking her whiskers.

In the blink of an eye, Yugito pounced toward Sasori like an agile cat. However, "Zhong Kui"

immediately blocked her path.

Sasori cursed inwardly, though his fingers never paused. "Zhong Kui" swung its right iron hook, precisely catching the torn fabric. With a sharp "rip," the already tattered robes scattered like flying butterflies, revealing the mechanically beautiful metal body beneath. The left hand’s sword wasn’t idle either, thrusting straight at Yugito.

Seeing this, Yugito performed a graceful backflip to dodge the blade. But "Zhong Kui" pressed its advantage, flicking its right hand to send the iron hook flying straight at her with its chain trailing behind.

Yugito’s eyes widened in alarm mid-air. If that hook caught her and yanked her back, wouldn’t she be completely at their mercy?

"Hah!"

Yugito let out a fierce cry, performing an incredibly difficult twisting maneuver in mid-air. Her supple body moved like a nimble cat, barely dodging the flying hook.

Yugito snarled viciously.

"Come on, let’s be reasonable here. How the hell did I force you into anything!"

Sasori said helplessly.

acted as if she hadn’t heard him. The blue cat-demon chakra patterns on her body blazed even brighter. Soon her form began to grow larger and larger, until she was finally as massive as a small mountain.

Sasori couldn’t help but swallow hard.

"Beautiful lady, this really isn’t necessary. It’s just a sparring match, and you’re going full Tailed Beast transformation on me."

Before Sasori’s eyes, Yugito’s graceful figure was nowhere to be seen—only a massive cat demon wreathed in blue chakra flames.

"Surrender!"

The cat demon arrogantly clawed at the ground.

Sasori shook his head and pulled out a massive scroll from his robes.

"Nope."

"Then I’ll beat you until you do!"

The cat demon prepared to pounce.

Sasori held the center of the scroll with one hand and yanked it open with the other. The scroll unfurled, revealing a giant character: "Roar."

"This mecha puppet was originally designed for fighting the Nine-Tails. I never had a chance to test its various functions. Perfect—I’ll use the Two-Tails for practice. Come forth! Howling Heaven!"

A massive cloud of white smoke billowed into the air.
