Kung Fu Baby with 17 Doting Brothers
Chapter 273: Brat
CHAPTER 273: CHAPTER 273: BRAT
They got in the car, and Yun Mu was still nagging.
"Miaomiao, you should have worn the red one, that one looks good."
Tuanzi turned her head, hugging her arms, not agreeing with her brother’s taste.
"Wearing that would make me look like a lucky doll."
The styles themselves leaned traditional, with a breezy two-toned hem skirt and a cross-collared jacket. Butterfly buttons perched like butterflies on the cross-collar. The neckline, shoulders, and cuffs had a layer of fine white fuzz.
When Tuanzi wore it, she looked like a snow bunny, adorably charming.
If the clothes were switched to bright red, she’d resemble the lucky doll painted on the doorway.
Yun Mu laughed, poking her chubby cheeks, "But you already are a lucky doll."
After a pause, he added, "To us, you are."
Tuanzi didn’t understand, stretching out her short legs to sway them.
"Looking pretty does come with a price, my legs feel chilly."
Gu Wangchao, who was driving, immediately asked, "Miaomiao didn’t wear base layers? We should turn back now."
"I did, I did!"
Tuanzi hastily stopped him, "Miaomiao just isn’t used to it."
Gu Wangchao sighed in relief.
Tuanzi looked down at her skirt, tilted her head, and pondered.
"This isn’t suitable for fighting."
"Fighting what? If something happens, I’ll protect you," Yun Mu declared confidently.
Tuanzi pouted, "Maybe I’ll be the one protecting you?"
"That doesn’t sound bad either." Yun Mu had no intention of portraying himself as imposing; he always went with his whims.
Soon, the trio arrived at the parking lot of a famous mall.
Though Tuanzi had participated in several shows and was quite famous, her fame meant people recognized her face and knew she practiced martial arts. Few saw her as a celebrity, making outings much easier than Gu Che’s.
Yun Mu eagerly led Tuanzi to the floor selling children’s clothes, waving his hand grandly, "Take anything you want."
Tuanzi rolled her eyes, "Miaomiao’s house can’t fit more. Plus, Miaomiao will grow tall. Buying too much means some might go unworn."
Upon hearing this, the blue-haired handsome guy looked at her suspiciously.
Tuanzi had a bad feeling, and instinctively said, "Wangchao, cover his mouth!"
Though she wanted to act herself, her height didn’t permit.
The pain of short legs!
Gu Wangchao also guessed how tactless Yun Mu might be, so he promptly covered his mouth and pointed toward the accessory store, "Go there."
Yun Mu nodded reluctantly, thinking how hard it was to spend money on his sister, sigh.
Tuanzi sifted through items at the accessory store but picked only three.
"Why so few?" Yun Mu looked disappointed, as if the sky was about to fall.
"Because there’re many at home," Tuanzi puffed out her cheeks, "Plus, Miaomiao doesn’t really wear these, it’s inconvenient."
She said this because once while chasing a thief, she flew very fast, and a loose hair clip fell off.
When she returned after catching the thief, she couldn’t find the hair clip, which made her furious.
Above was a floor with restaurants, and there was a fragrant aroma wafting down.
Tuanzi squinted and took a deep breath.
"Yun Mu," Tuanzi shuffled over with tiny steps, leaning toward the somewhat downcast blue-haired handsome guy, her small eyebrows twitching flexibly, "There’s one more chance if you want to gift Miaomiao."
"What chance?" Yun Mu looked full of anticipation.
"Treat Miaomiao to a meal."
Tuanzi raised a finger, "Lunch and dinner are the best gifts."
Blue-haired guy didn’t understand, "But I was already planning to treat you to a meal. How does that count as a gift?"
Tuanzi secretly clenched her fist.
Argh, at this moment, Yun Mu looked so cool!
Gu Wangchao, who had been quietly accompanying them, suggested, "How about we visit the supermarket and buy some nutritious food Miaomiao can eat?"
Now it was Tuanzi looking eager, "Chips?"
Gu Wangchao: "Milk."
Tuanzi: (▼へ▼メ)
Ultimately, the three still went to the supermarket.
Seeing some parents placing children in shopping carts, Yun Mu was itching to try.
"Miaomiao, how about I push you around the store?"
Before Tuanzi could speak, Gu Wangchao was already headache-inducing, stopping him.
"You probably want to push her quickly, which is very dangerous in the supermarket; be it hitting someone or crashing into shelves, it’s not good."
Yun Mu was deflated.
Gu Wangchao was still feeling a sense of danger; thankfully, he had time to follow. If he let his sister and cousin go out, who knows how much trouble they’d cause.
"You can’t do this in public places; it’s irresponsible to yourself and others." Gu Wangchao rarely showed a serious expression, and his tone was stern.
It was Tuanzi’s first time seeing him like this, her mouth opened wide in surprise.
Seeing Yun Mu obediently nod, she covered her mouth and ’pff’ laughed.
"Are you a brat?"
She also surfed the internet, knowing many feared brats. Now, it seemed Yun Mu was an oversized brat.
"No way."
Yun Mu snorted, "I was just thinking, didn’t actually do it. Plus, Chao stopped me, I listened. Do brats listen?"
He huffed and walked inside, even leaving the cart behind.
Gu Wangchao pushed the cart, while Tuanzi followed alongside them. They hadn’t shopped long when they saw a brat excitedly pushing a cart and running, while not far away, a three or four-year-old child broke free from a parent’s hand, curiously eyeing the snacks.
"Danger!"
Tuanzi ’whizzed’ across the floor, stopping the cart with a firm hold.
The brat still exerted force on the cart, finding it immovable, and glared angrily at Tuanzi.
"What are you doing? I want to play!"
Tuanzi lectured him with a stern face, "You almost hit that person, which is wrong."
The child examining the snacks didn’t know what happened, but the parent, realizing the child narrowly escaped a mishap, promptly pulled him over, angrily scolding the brat.
"We adults might be fine if bumped, but kids are fragile. He’s just a bit taller than the cart; what if you hit his eyes?"
The brat’s response was a loud ’wah’ of crying.
"Mom, mom, someone’s bullying me, mom!"
The woman who let the brat roam approached. Seeing the scene, without asking for reasons, she directly rolled her eyes at the parent, "Why scold my child? You scared my child to tears!"
The parent explained the situation.
"Nothing happened, right?" The woman rolled her eyes, "Just making a fuss over nothing."
Tuanzi was stunned.
Is this auntie nuts? Her child did wrong; why not stop and criticize her child?
Though looking unconcerned, the woman was definitely guilty, pulling the brat away. Before leaving, she glared at Tuanzi, "Such meddlesome, dressed so gaudily at a young age, wonder what you’ll be like when you grow up."
Tuanzi blinked blankly.
[Miaomiao: What does ’gaudy’ mean?]
[Ancient Martial System: She’s insulting herself for being brain-dead!]
The system was almost furious.
Gu Wangchao turned cold, standing in front of his sister sternly, "Mrs., one must be responsible for their words."
Yun Mu’s response was simpler.
He snatched the cart from the brat, ran several meters away, and charged back toward them.
The woman was startled, hurriedly pulling the brat aside.
Once safe, she shouted, "What are you doing? Don’t you know it’s very dangerous?"
"Oh, really?"
Yun Mu was indifferent, "Nothing happened, right? Making a fuss over nothing."
Woman: "..."
