CHAPTER 202: OFFICIALLY DIVORCED.

After all the unnecessary, over the top celebrations, Mei Mei took a second bath, dressed up and she went to work. For a camp like hers, summer break meant time to make as much money as they could.

She had assigned all of her employees that task of coming up with ideas which could go into the final schedules for different age groups. At the moment, they were deciding on the final decisions.

Mei Mei was standing at the head of the table position in the medium sized conference room, facing five employees. Behind her was a smart blackboard whose screen could be scrolled over with a finger. It was a super giant cell phone.

The smart blackboard had replaced the traditional blackboard. All chalk producing businesses had faded as the world adapted to technology.

She touched the blackboard and spoke to the program directors. "So, ages six to eight will have a schedule that includes: Space yoga, planet painting, build a robot workshop, moon rock painting and identification, outdoor activities which will be decided spontaneously." She shook her head. "It is not enough. We are formulating a two week program, we need to be more creative than this. Back to the drawing board for this age group."

Mei Mei swiped the board and another slide. "Ages nine to twelve have: Do it yourself star map sessions, build a robot workshop, anti gravity engineering lab, space scavenger hunt, survival training in space and outdoor activities decided spontaneously." She nodded. "This is good, additions are welcome but it is excellent."

Shen Biyu, the director of the planning department was relieved. A space camp was not exactly an ordinary camp so they had to be creative in coming up with activities that were educational and fun for the summer. Parents were demanding for it, especially the wealthy ones.

Everyone knew that most of them were just looking for a place where to dump their kids for the summer.

"Ages thirteen to sixteen." Mei Mei put her hands on her waist and she shook her head. "Teenagers ...."

At least three people snickered.

Mei Mei slid her finger on the blackboard, "Let’s see what bright ideas you came up with to wrangle these trouble makers. Meteorite car chase [outdoors], drone piloting, film studio activities, galactic cook off, quantum hacking, debate club, swimming club, capture the flag:space edition, alien diplomacy role play[Virtual and outdoor], movie nights, space basketball, space wrestling, sword fighting and zero gravity dance sessions."

She looked at them and placed her hands on the table. "Quantum hacking! that will be a no, ladies and gentlemen. We are not teaching teenagers how to break into phones and computers. Other than that, I approve of this schedule."

The team was very relieved too. As for planning for the little ones, that would not be too complicated. They would just fill in more games to fill up their time. Perhaps, they could add movie nights, cartoon time, face painting and other activities like that.

"Send the schedules to all the parents that are interested in a summer break program. Let’s engage them and ask for their ideas. See what changes they would like to make and what additions they want to add. When it has been finalized, send it to the accounting department and myself.

I will be gone for four days to celebrate the national liberation day. I will still be accessible by phone so reach out if there is anything. If you cannot reach me, call assistant Jingzhe."

A smile formed on her lips when she mentioned his name. Five minutes later, she ended the meeting and left the camp. It was time to pick up her divorce certificate.

A big surprise was waiting for her when she reached the civil affairs office and it was Jingzhe. He knew she was picking up the certificate today and he had come an hour before she arrived.

He was even holding flowers in his hands. He was wearing a white suit, the upper part of the jacket around the chest area was embroidered with green bamboo leaves. He looked so handsome and regal, like a prince.

It looked like he was there to get married and that was what everyone that saw him assumed.

"What are you doing here?" Mei Mei asked him as he handed a bouquet of of white roses which she gladly accepted.

He responded by hugging her first, drawing her into his arms intimately.

A young woman that was passing by took a picture of them. She planned to share the picture online later on. A handsome man and beautiful woman, dressed so wonderfully as they came to get their marriage certificate.

The reason why this assumption was made was because Mei Mei was wearing white, like a bride. She had donned a strapless white satin jumpsuit with ruffled details and bell bottoms. Around the waist was a silver sash which tied the outfit together. The jumpsuit showed off her figure quite nicely.

So, two people dressed in white and the woman just happened to have white flowers at the civil affairs office! It was not such a stretch to assume that they were there to say "I do."

"This is not what you were wearing when you left the house." Jingzhe told her.

She took a step back and playfully twirled. "Do you like it?"

Jingzhe nodded. Of course he liked it, she looked like an angel that had just descended from the heavens and come down just for him. So, that made her his own personal crazy angel.

After what he had witnessed in the morning, the crazy could not be left out. But, he loved it all and he wanted it.

Jingzhe hugged her again, he couldn’t help himself. "I like it, but I like you more."

Mei Mei folded her lips but she blushed. It seemed like she was the red shrimp today. To avoid more embarrassment, she pushed him aside and quickly walked into the civil affairs building.

Ten minutes later, she walked out with two certificates, one was hers and the other was meant for Mo Liang. She run to the top of the steps and waved her hand. showing off the certificates with great child like enthusiasm.

Jingzhe waved back at her from where he was standing, returning her enthusiasm.

Mei Mei put a hand over the right side of her mouth and screamed, "A Zhe, I am divorced."

He covered the sides of his mouth and shouted back, "Congratulations."

She run down the steps and threw herself into his arms, screaming with joy.

Meanwhile the people around them were very confused. If she was here to divorce, why was she wearing white?
