The empress mother threw her head back and she laughed. "You are so easy to tease. Don’t worry, I don’t want you in a romantic or sexual way, I mean that I want your brains. I want you to work for me.

I have called you boy wonder because that is exactly what you are, or maybe I should just say genius. We all know that you are one.

She paused and sipped some juice through a straw.

"I don’t want to discuss that. I am more impressed with your accomplishments. By age seven, you hacked into the a local Tv station and played re-runs of your favorite movie all day.

At age nine, you were hacking into the ministry of education and selling test papers to students preparing for the College entrance exams.

At age ten, you were tutoring university students online under the alias, Professor Go You. Some of your former students are actually university professors today, some own their own businesses. "Why are you telling me about my life experience?" Jingzhe asked her.

She smiled and answered, "Because I want you to understand that I am on your side. I appreciate your genius. You hacked the servers of Huaqi telecommunications because they cancelled your mother’s monthly plan and would not reimburse her money.

Jingzhe cleared his throat and scratched the back of his neck. There was no chicken feather involved and he did not want this story out in the world. Huaqi could sue him.

The empress mother giggled. "But that is not the best one. Your education website used to be homework express. An underground academic empire you created where smart kids could connect with not so smart kids and help them do their homework in exchange for money and other things.

The only reason you were caught is because some smart kids got lazy and sold the same articles to children in the same school. You shut down the website as soon as unauthorized parties tried to access it."

"It is not a crime to share knowledge." Jingzhe muttered.

The empress mother shrugged. "We will never know now as this happened a very long time ago. Your list of mischief goes on and on. This includes three fake passports, one in which you had a very interesting beard."

Jingzhe grimaced.

The empress mother giggled. The taste of her juice was suddenly sweeter than before. "All of this was put on a pause when you were sent to juvenile detention and then signed up to go to Sword island."

Jingzhe clenched his jaw.

The empress mother detected the change in him and she raised her hand, urging him not to say anything. "Don’t worry, I will not say a word about the island or what you experienced there. I was aghast when I found out about that place. I am glad that it is gone. However I do wish to acquire your services as one of my advisors.

The empress mother went first. "This is a life changing decision. One that you will need to ponder on seriously and discuss with your mother. But I believe that it is a good thing. Jingzhe, everyone would kill for such an opportunity, don’t turn it down just because of fear or pride."

"I am not afraid." He said strongly. "I just don’t want a repeat of sword island."

His genius would never be used to accomplish the evil goals of others, ever again.
