CHAPTER 20: CHAPTER 20: ANNELISE WINTER SEDUCES CAPTAIN WARNER

Before I could get the words out, the sound of the flight attendants’ chatter interrupted my thoughts.

Leading the group was June Winter, who had just recently gotten married.

June was wearing a long, red, wavy dress, looking vibrant and cheerful, surrounded by a group of beautiful flight attendants.

On the background wall, a safety promotional video she had shot for The Airline was playing.

"June, you look so pretty today! Didn’t you say you were going on a world tour with Captain Perry after the wedding? How come you’re here today?"

"Yeah, the flight to Breslin is about to take off, it’s the one Elias is piloting! So, did you come early to give out wedding favors?"

"Oh my god! You’re so generous, June! No wonder you married well!"

"You don’t know this, but now our flight attendant department is all dreaming of marrying into a rich family? Everyone was heartbroken when First Officer Perry got married, but didn’t expect the Crown Prince to return, they’ve gone crazy! They even dare to fantasize about Captain Warner!"

Hearing this, June couldn’t help but chuckle, "Hilarious! They dare covet Elias? You guys wouldn’t know, but at my wedding, there was someone who overestimated themselves trying to seduce Elias, and that person didn’t even get near his hair before being thrown out."

June Winter’s seductive eyes glanced over, then lifted her hand to point, "Isn’t that her, right there!"

Everyone followed where June was pointing and saw Annelise Winter sitting there getting an IV, almost bursting out laughing, "You mean Annelise? She was just dumped by First Officer Perry and now wants to hook up with the Crown Prince?"

"Yeah." June looked at Annelise boastfully, waiting for her to make a fool of herself.

Before Annelise could speak, Chloe Joyce couldn’t help but clap back, "What an act! And then there’s Chase, Elias... The green tea vibe is so strong and those followers don’t even notice!"

June Winter, flustered and exasperated, "Who are you calling ’green tea’?"

Chloe Joyce staying composed, "I didn’t mention any names, don’t take it personally!"

"You!"

June didn’t want to argue with a gossip like Chloe, and instead turned her focus directly on Annelise.

Seeing Annelise’s delicate appearance, she remembered the nights being cold-shouldered by Chase after the wedding.

June’s eyes reddened with anger, "Sister, weren’t you just issuing me a grounding order yesterday? How come you’re the one who got sick today? Wasn’t it because you were thrown out of the hotel by Elias last night and got caught in the rain?"

Everyone burst into laughter.

The chattering group in the IV corridor had already given Annelise a headache.

Her mind lingered on the phrase she had heard, that Elias was piloting the Breslin flight.

Breslin? How could it be such a coincidence?

It’s also her vacation destination this time, where her most missed daughter is.

Her heart fluttered with anxiety.

If Elias’ main flight routes in the future were Breslin.

It wasn’t a good thing for her.

Chloe stood in front of Annelise, "June Winter, you’re spreading false rumors without thinking! Malicious gossip can have severe legal consequences!"

June blinked incredulously, "You’re saying I’m spreading rumors? Haha... Why don’t you ask your good friend here if she tried to seduce the Crown Prince? It’s really funny, the Perry Family doesn’t want her anymore, yet she dares to covet the Crown Prince, does she think Elias is still the same person he used to be..."

Before she could finish, she was coldly interrupted by Annelise!

"June Winter! I advise you not to say things you shouldn’t!"

Annelise calmly ripped the IV from the back of her hand!

Because of the force, the needle bled, and after pulling it out, blood kept dripping.

"Annelise! What are you doing?!" Chloe was startled.

But Annelise didn’t care, she stood up, her slender, tall figure instantly overshadowing everyone.

Even in a white coat, the smirk on her lips was chilling.

Her height was close to 170 cm, making her not lose out even among flight attendants.

The black eyes under her long lashes were like ice, staring at June.

"Do you have any evidence that I seduced Captain Warner? And whether or not I did, what does it have to do with you?"

June laughed out of anger, putting her hands on her hips, "Oh, so you’re admitting you tried to seduce Captain Warner?"

Annelise remained expressionless, "Why should I admit to something I haven’t done? I can tell everyone right now, I’m not interested in Captain Warner, I won’t disturb him now, nor in the future, but you, why are you so eager? Could it be that you like him?"

"Annelise, you shameless! Who believes your nonsense! How dare you dislike..."

The girl beside her signaled with her eyes, "Hey! June, stop talking!"

There were people over there.

The atmosphere instantly cooled down.

June intended to continue but felt a cold, piercing gaze focused on her. Her body stiffened as she turned to look.

She saw the elevator entrance not far away.

Everyone was gathered around Elias Warner in full pilot uniform, standing there, no one knew for how long.

It was obvious.

The unrestrained conversation the two Miss Winters had about him had reached his ears without missing a word.

The atmosphere froze almost instantly.

Following alongside him were the heads of various departments, including Chase Perry.

As a rule, employees of The Airline resisting inappropriate thoughts about their future boss should be a good thing.

But, for some reason, it was clear to everyone that Elias Warner was angry.

Elias pursed his cold, thin lips into a line, sticking one hand in his pant pocket, his sharp eyes cutting like ice.

Turning his face slightly, he glanced at someone behind him, "Is this the professional conduct of our brand ambassador?"

Shawn Reed, the head of the flight attendant department, flinched, "No, no, Captain Warner, there must be some misunderstanding in this!"

Elias’s eyes didn’t linger on Annelise for a second, "You don’t need to tell me. I’m not your boss. Employees of The Airline gossiping during work hours and saying inappropriate things, especially coming from our brand ambassador’s mouth, not only harms The Airline’s reputation but also the public image of flight attendants."

"Yes, yes, yes." Shawn was caught in the middle, his clothes soaked with cold sweat.

June was pointed out, feeling both awkward and mortified.

Not caring if she was embarrassed in front of the flight attendants, she stepped up in her high heels, "Elias..."

Elias’s gaze was cold and imperious.

June’s heart tightened, immediately changing her tone, "Captain Warner, it was Annelise who started it... You have no idea what she meant... She even had the nerve to say she wasn’t interested in you after ruining your suit and hugging you that night, and she wouldn’t admit it!"

She added fuel to the fire, "She’s also holding a grudge because Chase married me and grounded me, she’s the one harming The Airline’s reputation, you must deal with her properly!"

The focus turned to Annelise, everyone looked at her.
