The car door locked, speeding away!

Annelise Winter felt hopeless!

She knew that by herself, she wouldn’t be able to make it to Breslin today!

It was already six o’clock in the afternoon.

Looking up, an Airbus A330 wide-body jet roared overhead, heading to Breslin.

Annelise gave up struggling.

Renee Perry smirked; after all, she’s young and has her ways of dealing with Annelise.

The stretch Lincoln sped towards the old house.

The street lights along the road lit up one by one, all a bit glaring, the old billboards protruding with weathered marks.
