Dominic spoke, “Tell her toe here.”

Liam nodded and stepped out of the study. His heart was filled with conflicting emotions.

As a father, he wanted his son to be happy. But it seemed clear that Willow had no intention of staying in the Ziegler family.

Thinking back, he resented his wife for being too harsh and intolerant.

In the living roomb, /bsilence reigned. Everyone just sat there, without any appetite for breakfast.

Liam walked in and looked at Willow gently. “Go to the study. Dad is waiting for you.”

Mnie immediately asked, “Did he change his mind? Julian can’t be without an heir.”

Liam’s expression remained calm. “Dad has made it clear. If anyone is leaving, it will be Willow choosing to leave Julian, not the other way around.”

Mnie slumped into the chair, defeated.

Liam gently asked Willow to go to the study.

Just as she took a few steps forward, Julian stood up. “I’ll go with you.”

Liam stared at Julian with aplicated look. “Dad didn’t ask for you. He only asked for Willow.”

Julian refused to give up.

He grabbed Willow’s wrist, determined to go with her. He had a feeling that she would make an important decision, one he wouldn’t like.

He held on tightly and refused to let go.

Willow looked down and whispered, “If you truly cared about me, our marriage wouldn’t have ended up like this.

“Catherine even got my medical report from you. Julian, I gave you my heart, but the only thing you gave me was pain and suffering.”

After saying that, she pulled her hand away.

Julian’s hand was empty. He could only watch as she walked away. When she walked out of the doorb, /bshe rested her hand against it, as if she had used up all her strength.

Suddenly, he was reminded of the sunset at Lake Talpond.

Back then, she looked radiant when she asked Julian if they would be together foreverb, /bnever to part. She’d believed that they were each other’s most important person.

He recalled the love letters she’d writtenb, /bones he had teasingly read aloud to her in bed at Grandview Manor.

“Even if it’s difficult, Julian, I want to stay by your side. I’ll love you slowly and endlessly. Again and again.”

They really had good times.

Overwhelmed by emotions, Julian blurted out, “Willow, I don’t want a divorceb./b”

Willow stopped in her tracks.

She turned around, silently looking bat /bthe man she had loved deeply.

She smiled lightly, then turned around and walked away, without hesitation.

After a while, he arrived at Dominic’s study.

The study was filled with the aroma of tea.

On the small tea table were some pastries and soup. Dominic stood up to greet her in a warm tone.

“Comeb, /bsit with meb, /band let’s have breakfast.”

Willowplied and had breakfast with him. But she could tell he wasn’t in a good mood.

After finishing the food, she opened her mouth to speak. But before she couldb, /bhe raised a hand to stop her.

Then, he told her he would transfer thepany shares to her.

Willow was dumbfounded.

She sat in silence, tears welling in her eyes. Having spent four years in the Ziegler family, she knew better than anyone how careful and guarded Dominic was.

Yet, he was giving away his shares that were worth 30 billion dors.

How could she not be moved?

After a while, she said softly, “I know you want to make up for what happened, but I did that willingly.

“Besides, the one that owes me is Julian, not the Ziegler family. I can’t ept the shares.”
