Legacy of The Arcane Lust Mage
Chapter 28: Beast Tide
CHAPTER 28: BEAST TIDE
"Hu~ That felt amazing!"
A few moments later, he finished climaxing and heaved a deep breath, feeling his body relax.
Pop!
Then he moved back and his cock slid out from her cave with a wet pop sound.
"Sorry for slapping you just then, it doesn’t hurt too much, right?" asked Lukas in concern as he caressed the red welt on her cheek.
Oriana was unresponsive for a while as she also took deep breaths to calm her rough breathing and compose herself because she was really out of it.
After their first session, she had thought she had experienced the peak of pleasure, but just now, the pleasure she felt seemed to exceed that.
"No, it’s alright. It doesn’t hurt much, Young Lord." She finally said, almost carelessly as if it didn’t matter whether he slapped her or not.
Ba-Dum!
’Did I just indirectly tell him that it’s fine to spank me in future?’ Her heart skipped a beat but it was more out of hidden excitement rather than embarrassment.
Lukas’ lips curled up in a grin, "I understand."
When he saw her reaction after slapping her, he had already realized she seemed to like it, or hadn’t hated it at least.
"Here, let me reward you for being so sweet and obedient." Smiling, he grabbed her hand and turned her toward him before leaning in and kissing her lips.
Oriana blushed seeing him treat her like a child, but she had to admit she liked the feeling of being pampered like this.
After a deep kiss that lasted for a minute, Lukas pulled back and stared into her glassy eyes, feeling the urge to jump her bones again, but...
He looked down at his limp little brother and thought, ’It seems I have to find a way to make my body stronger if I want to indulge, cough, charge the rune multiple times.’
In total, he only climaxed four times and could no longer do it again without resting for the night at the very least.
Thinking of the rune, he closed his eyes and focused on his mind-sea.
’Hm? As I feared, the efficiency drops if I charge it by having sex with the same woman again. But hopefully If I don’t do it with her for some time and let her recover whatever energy is needed to charge it, the efficiency would revert to normal.’ He frowned.
’Oh?’ Suddenly, he felt a soft hand grab little Lukas.
Opening his eyes, he looked down and couldn’t help but smile.
Oriana was on her knees, wiping his wet member with the sleeve of her robe with utmost concentration and care.
’How sweet she is!’ He thought and wanted to tell her to use her mouth, but knowing he wouldn’t be able to enjoy it as much right now, he decided against it.
...
A while later, in Lukas’ room.
After dinner, Lukas put the exhausted Oriana in the bed and cuddled her until she fell asleep.
Then he left the bed, changed into a fresh robe and left the room.
...
Step! Step! Step!
Ha! Ha!
Silas Greenthunder, covered in his own blood oozing from several wounds all over his body, was heaving deep breaths as he forced himself to continue to run.
Unfortunately, after losing a large amount of blood and running for over three hours without any break, he no longer had any strength left in his body and finally stumbled on his feet and fell down face first.
Thud!
Ha!
Turning over to lay on his back, he exhaled and cursed, "Fuck! Wasn’t the Crimson Valley Forest supposed to be a safe place for even Mid 1-Star mages as long as they were careful? Weren’t most of the magic beasts slaughtered? Then why is there suddenly a beast tide? Fuck!"
"No, I can’t give up here. I need to return to the town and take Father, Jade, Jenna and Ron away, otherwise when the beasts reach there, everyone will die." Forcing him to his feet, he once again started moving, though his speed was very slow.
Fortunately, however, he had left the beasts far behind. And since the beasts would stop to slaughter all the villages and small towns on the way, they would need some time before they reached his town.
Half an hour later, he arrived before his town. He wanted to shout and alert the people on the town walls but didn’t have enough strength, so he kept quiet and continued until someone spotted him.
"Look, someone’s coming."
The guards instantly went on alert, gripping their spears and ready to ring the bell. But first, they wanted to see if he was a threat. So, one of them called out.
"Identify yourself."
When Silas didn’t respond and instead continued moving toward them, they frowned but just as they were about to ring the bell and attack, a young boy, no older than 14 years old, recognized him and shouted.
"It’s Sir Silas!"
Others looked closely and realized that it was indeed Silas. The town didn’t have many households so practically everyone knew each other.
"He is injured! Hurry, help him!"
Soon, they arrived before him, but before they could ask him why he was so injured or do anything to help, Silas croaked out in grave tone, "Marcus, Ring The Bell! A Beast Tide... is coming. We need to evacuate. Hurry!"
The person he addressed was a middle-aged man and the leader of night guards. When he heard him, he was stunned for a moment, unable to register his words but when Silas shouted again and repeated his words, terror flashed in his eyes. The others reacted the same.
They wanted to doubt Silas, but they knew him well enough to know he wasn’t one to joke about such serious matters.
Swoosh!
Before Marcus could move, the young boy who recognized Silas first turned around and rushed toward the wall. Hurriedly climbing it, he grabbed the rope attached to the copper bell and started swinging it with all his might while shouting.
"Gather your things. A beast tide is coming. We need to evacuate!"
"Gather your things. A beast tide..."
In response to the bell and his shouts, a commotion arose in the town. Most were terrified and skeptical since for the past over two hundred years, there had been no beast tide.
"What do you mean a beast tide, Sunny? How can there be a beast tide?"
"Right, even if there was, wouldn’t the local baron’s people have informed us beforehand?"
...
Hearing the skeptical queries of the people, even Marcus and others became hesitant.
Silas, however, didn’t bother trying to make them believe him.
"Believe me if you want, and don’t if you don’t want to. It’s your choice." Leaving these words behind, he limped inside the town and headed toward his home.
When he reached the vicinity of his house, he noticed his father and his wife, Jade, were standing outside talking with their neighbors with anxious looks on their faces.
"Father, Jade..." He called out.
His father and Jade heard him and immediately let out sighs of relief. Unlike others, when they heard a beast tide was coming, they didn’t worry about evacuating, but their son and husband, Silas, who had left earlier in the day to hunt in Crimson Valley Forest.
If a beast tide was coming, then wouldn’t it mean he might have died?
The possibility had terrified them. So when they heard his voice, even though it sounded hoarse and almost unrecognizable, they felt a burden lift off their hearts.
However, when they saw how injured he was, their expression changed and they rushed over to support him.
"Husband, what happened? Why are you—" Jade began asking as she supported him, but Silas interrupted her, "Hurry up... we don’t have time to waste. Take all the money and valuables and some food and clothes. We are leaving."
