Legend of Hogwarts (Harry Potter x League of Legends)
Chapter 87 87: Charlie’s Driving?!
The moment her mother scolded her, the little girl quickly scooped up her absurdly large book and dashed back to her mother's side. As she whispered something to her, she kept sneaking glances at Allen, occasionally pointing at him, then at passages in the book.
Soon, Allen felt a strange and curious gaze fall on him. Mrs. Granger studied him carefully, as if their earlier conversation had never happened. She examined him from head to toe, muttered something under her breath, and then turned around and disappeared back into the consultation room.
Allen had no idea what that was about.
Before he could figure it out, Mr. and Mrs. Granger returned, this time with Annie, who was finally free of her toothache. Mr. Granger still looked faintly surprised, but he greeted Allen kindly.
"Oh, this might sound a bit strange, but according to our Hermione, you were able to solve all her questions perfectly?"
Allen nodded confidently. It had been a long time since he studied that material, but he still had a good grasp on it.
Wait a second, Hermione?
Hermione Granger?
Just as the name hit him like a lightning bolt, Mr. Granger spoke again:
"Hermione's secondary school entrance exams are tomorrow. She's been anxious about whether she's doing enough… So we were wondering, would you be willing to tutor her for a month this summer?"
Summer tutoring—for Hermione?!
Hermione Granger, who could brew Polyjuice Potion in second year, a high-level potion that even many graduate wizards couldn't handle. Hermione, who practically aced every subject from the moment she started school.
She needed tutoring?
Clearly not.
But then Allen realized what Mr. Granger really meant, he was asking for Muggle subject tutoring, not wizard studies.
Ah… life was full of surprises. After all her victories in the academic world, Hermione was about to be told none of it would matter anymore. She would soon step into a world beyond imagination.
After thinking it through, Allen politely declined the request. While he was confident in his knowledge of primary school subjects, adding unnecessary study pressure on a young girl, especially knowledge that would soon be useless to her, felt a bit too cruel.
Mr. Granger didn't seem too surprised by Allen's refusal, he clearly knew the idea was a stretch. After all, Allen was still a child himself.
After paying in full, despite Allen's repeated refusal to accept a discount, Mr. Granger handed over the rather hefty dental fee. Then Allen left the clinic with Annie, bidding the Grangers farewell.
But just as they reached the back exit, a sharp voice called out:
"Hey! Stop right there!"
It was Hermione.
The wild-haired girl stood there with red-rimmed eyes.
"You think I'm a freak too, don't you?"
Allen didn't answer right away. Instead, he stooped to pick up a wilted rose from the ground, plucked from the decorative hedge next door.
"Look at this flower," he said softly.
Hermione hesitated, then walked forward, curiosity replacing her guarded look.
Snap.
Allen snapped his fingers.
Right before Hermione's wide eyes, the wilted flower transformed into a delicate butterfly. It fluttered up beside her ear, sending a cool breeze past her cheek.
When she instinctively reached up to touch it, all she felt was a fresh rosebud, dewy, as if freshly picked.
"Ah!" she gasped in delight.
Allen smiled. "Let's be accurate: we're both freaks. And personally, I don't think all that stuff in your books will help you much going forward."
He turned away, pulling Annie along behind him.
"So, little lady, until we meet again."
They vanished down the street.
There were no other wizards nearby. And though Allen hadn't brought his wand, there was always the risk of the Ministry detecting magic use. Better to let them assume it was accidental magic from a young witch on the verge of awakening.

Half a month later, Allen, fully packed and looking resigned, was dragging along a little tag-along.
Originally, the invitation had been meant just for him. But Annie had absolutely refused to be left behind.
With no other option, Allen had written a letter to the Weasley twins, politely declining the invitation to visit.
Their response? A warm letter from Mrs. Weasley inviting both Allen and Annie to spend the rest of the summer at the Burrow. She even mentioned that Annie could be playmates with Ginny.
Today was a big day.
Allen was curious about how they'd be picked up, until Valor alerted him to a massive unidentified flying object approaching the orphanage.
It was the flying car.
Now parked outside, it looked like an ordinary vehicle. But Allen knew firsthand how terrifyingly powerful it actually was.
He had once passed by the secret passage under the Whomping Willow and knew just how violent that rare tree could be. And yet, this car had nearly flattened it.
Its record? Survived a head-on with the Whomping Willow. Escaped a swarm of giant spiders with a perfect drift. Pulled off a solo rescue mission.
In the near future, this car would become a legend of the Forbidden Forest.
But today, it hadn't yet realized its destiny. And so, Charlie Weasley and the twin brothers were still leaning out the windows, grinning cheerfully, instead of spitting people out like the temperamental vehicle later would.
With the twins' help, they quickly crammed two large trunks into the back.
Allen would be staying with the Weasleys until the term started. As for Annie, her Hogwarts acceptance letter had already arrived. Just a few days ago, Allen had taken her shopping in Diagon Alley to buy all the necessary school supplies.
"Allen, what do you think of the car?" Fred asked proudly, showing off the vehicle like a kid with a new toy.
Allen gave a thumbs-up. "It's awesome!"
"Too bad Dad won't let us drive it," Fred said with a pout. "Says we're not old enough yet. He only lets Charlie drive!"
Charlie turned around with a bright smile. "Fred, you forgot something important, I am over seventeen now. Which means I can use magic freely!"
Fred and George responded with matching middle fingers.
Charlie just laughed. "You might want to rethink that, Mum said if she catches you doing rude gestures again, she'll glue your fingers together. And trust me, she will."
"Alright! Buckle up, I'm accelerating!"
By the time the first rays of dawn spread across the eastern horizon, Charlie finally lowered the car from the clouds. Farmland and clusters of trees began to form dark green patches below them.
They had arrived at their destination, The Burrow.
