Legend of Wyatt
Chapter 1809: False Dimensional Plane
CHAPTER 1809: CHAPTER 1809: FALSE DIMENSIONAL PLANE
"Just a little bit more."
Wyatt Barnes, who was in seclusion cultivating, had unknowingly opened his eyes. He sighed heavily, and after a thought, left the Seven Treasures Exquisite Pagoda.
Currently, he was only a step away from reaching the late stage of the Middle Saint Realm!
However, this one step was a ’bottleneck’, and breaking through it would require finding a suitable opportunity.
"Elder Fire, are those materials used up?"
Meanwhile, Wyatt contacted Elder Fire and asked.
"They were used up long ago."
Elder Fire said, "However, with those materials you gave me last time, it’s still far from being enough to completely repair the fourth layer of the Seven Treasures Exquisite Pagoda... So, if you want to repair the fourth layer, you’ll need to gather more materials."
"Rest assured, there will be plenty of materials coming in the future."
Wyatt responded, "I’ll go get the materials for you now."
By now, it had been almost half a year since the last time he went into seclusion.
Yet, in the third layer of the Seven Treasures Exquisite Pagoda, two full years had already passed.
During these two years, not only did Wyatt consolidate his cultivation in the mid-stage of the Middle Saint Realm, but he also advanced further, being just a step away from the late stage of the Middle Saint Realm.
As he opened the door and walked out, Wyatt discovered that there were still a few people hiding in the shadows, watching him.
"The people from the Dunn Family lineage are still not giving up?"
Wyatt frowned, then relaxed, ignoring those people and heading straight for the Main Mansion to find Augustine Landon.
The Dunn Family lineage naturally followed closely behind.
"Damn it! He’s been in seclusion for so long, and now that he’s finally out, he doesn’t even leave."
Seeing that Wyatt hadn’t left the Mysterious Void Mansion after coming out of seclusion, a few Dunn Family lineage disciples from the Mysterious Void Mansion started cursing, as if Wyatt’s remaining there was a crime.
However, the news of Wyatt coming out of seclusion quickly spread to other elders and disciples of the Dunn Family lineage in the Mysterious Void Mansion.
In no time, the originally lifeless Dunn Family lineage became abuzz with excitement, with everyone eager to take action.
All of this was naturally unknown to Wyatt.
By now, he had reached the place where Protector Winty Landon was cultivating.
"Uncle Winty."
This time, Wyatt met Winty Landon.
"Wyatt, you’ve come?"
Facing Wyatt, Winty Landon smiled, but Wyatt could clearly see that there was an unusual expression between Winty Landon’s brows.
"Uncle Winty, do you have something on your mind?"
Wyatt asked in confusion.
Winty Landon sighed at these words, but said nothing.
"Father, Junior Brother Wyatt is not an outsider. Why not tell him? Besides, the information about the Devouring Dark Demon Art was provided by him."
At some point, Augustine Landon had also arrived and spoke frankly.
Winty Landon nodded, "You tell Wyatt."
As Augustine spoke, Wyatt finally understood why Winty Landon seemed so troubled:
"Our Heavenly Palace’s Palace Master rescued Peace Adams?"
"He rescued Peace Adams to obtain the Devouring Dark Demon Art that Peace Adams was cultivating? Since the Devouring Dark Demon Art is such an inhumane and depraved devil path technique, he was worried it wouldn’t be possible to practice it once exposed, so he took the risk?"
"He chose to take the risk to seek revenge on Diffy Fenning, the Vice Leader of the Shadow Mountain Black Market?"
...
After understanding the whole story, Wyatt couldn’t help but smile wryly, "It seems Hall Master Watson has never forgotten that event from half a year ago!"
Half a year ago, Oliver Watson had been humiliated by Diffy Fenning, the Vice Leader of the Shadow Mountain Black Market, and Wyatt had seen the whole event clearly from nearby.
He could fully understand Oliver Watson’s feelings at that time; it must have been worse than death!
So, knowing that Oliver Watson had taken the risk to practice the Devouring Dark Demon Art because of that event, Wyatt was not surprised.
"Hall Master Watson’s master is my father’s younger martial brother from his master’s generation... So, Hall Master Watson is considered a member of my father’s lineage. He regularly addresses my father as ’Senior Brother’ when they meet."
Augustine promptly explained.
Upon hearing this, Wyatt came to a sudden realization, and it made perfect sense why Winty Landon appeared so troubled.
"Hall Master Watson has truly lost his mind... If he cultivates that Devouring Dark Demon Art, who knows how many people he will harm! By the way, Uncle Winty, do you know through what kind of inhumane method the Devouring Dark Demon Art is practiced?"
As he spoke, Wyatt looked towards Winty Landon.
"Devouring Dark Demon Art, it’s said to be practiced by devouring the Essence Blood Energy of young women, allowing for rapid advancement in cultivation... And the young women whose Essence Blood Energy are devoured by the practitioners of the Devouring Dark Demon Art end up as dry corpses."
Winty Landon’s eyes flashed with cold light, and he sternly said, "If Oliver Watson truly cultivates the Devouring Dark Demon Art, the next time we meet, I will surely deal with him personally!"
"Swallow the essence blood energy? Turn them into mummies?"
Although he had long been aware that the cultivation method of the Devouring Dark_Demon Art was bound to be extremely vicious, Wyatt Barnes couldn’t help but gasp when he learned the specifics, his face turning grim.
"What a sinister devil path technique!"
A cold light flashed in Wyatt Barnes’ eyes, feeling that the demon cultivator who practiced the Devouring Dark_Demon Art was not even as good as a beast!
"So, does this mean... Peace Adams was rescued by him and will most likely recover in the future?"
Murmuring softly, Wyatt’s eyes narrowed, a cold light flickering past.
Peace Adams, the Junior House Master of Sky-scraping Mansion, was someone he was eager to kill.
Originally, he thought Peace Adams was bound to die this time, but unexpectedly, he was rescued by Oliver Watson.
"Hall Master Watson left a message before he left, saying that after obtaining the Devouring Dark_Demon Art, he would kill Peace Adams."
Augustine Landon said, "Though Hall Master Watson’s actions are hard to accept, from his words, it’s apparent that he was forced, not genuinely willing to betray the Mysterious Void Mansion."
"Once he has cultivated the Devouring Dark_Demon Art, he deserves to die!"
Winty Landon snapped harshly.
Kill Peace Adams?
Upon hearing Augustine’s words, Wyatt Barnes remained noncommittal.
Since Peace Adams had found a way to coerce Oliver Watson, making him rescue him, surely he had a contingency plan and would not pass the complete Devouring Dark_Demon Art to Oliver Watson easily.
Thus, he didn’t believe Oliver Watson could kill Peace Adams.
Instead, it wasn’t that Oliver Watson lacked the strength to kill Peace Adams, but because Peace Adams would use various means related to the Devouring Dark_Demon Art to keep Oliver Watson cautious, preventing him from killing easily.
"Peace Adams... the next time we meet, I will kill you!"
Wyatt muttered to himself, a flash of fierce light in his eyes, as if ready to devour anyone.
Taking a deep breath, Wyatt calmed down and turned to Augustine Landon, "Senior Brother Augustine, how many materials have you gathered for me?"
"The materials you need are all in here."
Augustine handed over a Storage Ring to Wyatt Barnes.
After recognizing the Storage Ring as its owner, Wyatt looked inside and was instantly shocked.
The materials collected in the Storage Ring were far more extensive than last time, at least ten times as much.
Wyatt was surprised by this, but not unexpected.
Because he had been in seclusion for nearly six months, with the power of the Mysterious Void Mansion, finding these materials was not a difficult task.
Still, Wyatt was very grateful to the Landon father and son, and to the house master of the Mysterious Void Mansion.
With the materials in hand, Wyatt said goodbye to the Landon father and son before leaving and returning to his own place.
Upon returning, he immediately sent the materials into the Seven Treasures Exquisite Pagoda, handing them to Elder Fire, "Elder Fire, the materials in this Storage Ring are more than ten times the amount last time... However, those two most rare materials are still missing, could it be that they’re not available here?"
Towards the end, Wyatt showed a look of unease and a wry smile.
"Not necessarily."
Elder Fire’s voice came through, "Don’t forget, the place you’re in now is just the ’Lower Domain’ of the Martial Dao Sacred Land... and the ’Upper Domain’ of the Martial Dao Sacred Land, if I’m not mistaken, is an independent ’False Dimensional Plane.’ Although it’s a false dimensional plane, the environment there is definitely much better than the Lower Domain, surely yielding more good things."
"Just because the Lower Domain doesn’t have those two materials, doesn’t mean the Upper Domain doesn’t."
Elder Fire finished in one breath.
"False Dimensional Plane?"
Wyatt clung to this term, asking Elder Fire, as it was the first time he’d heard of such a thing in this world.
"A False Dimensional Plane refers to a dimension that isn’t considered a full plane. Specifically, it’s hard for me to describe. You can understand it this way: a false dimensional plane is an independent plane formed by the turbulence of spatial currents... The environments within false dimensional planes are generally excellent. By ’environment’, I mean not only the cultivation environment but also various survival environments."
Elder Fire said, "The ’Upper Domain’ of your Martial Dao Sacred Land, if I’m not mistaken, emerged later as a ’false dimensional plane’... and after that false dimensional plane appeared, your Martial Dao Sacred Land’s main forces went there. However, due to limited resources, the weaker forces and people of the Martial Dao Sacred Land were left behind."
"Thus, the ’Lower Domain’ of the Martial Dao Sacred Land was born."
Listening to Elder Fire speak as if he had experienced it personally.
Wyatt nodded with a half-understanding, in reality, he still didn’t get it.
What are spatial currents?
Why can their turbulence form an independent plane?
As for what a ’plane’ is, he had heard Elder Fire mention it before, knowing it refers to a completely independent world.
For instance, the Earth he lived on in his previous life was located in a mundane plane, one of the planets within that plane.
And the world he is in now, is likewise a planet within a mundane plane, and perhaps there are countless other different planets within this mundane plane.
"I wonder if the Earth is also in this mundane plane."
Even Wyatt himself didn’t know why, but this question suddenly popped into his mind.
