They quickly checked their comrades surrounding them and, as expected, another familiar face was missing.

The remaining five members, controlled by panic, hurriedly huddled back-to-back, holding their rifles and cautiously scanning the surroundings.

The six men split into three pairs, back to back with their rifles, and entered the jungle for a meticulous search. Suddenly, the group on the far left saw Luo An squatting in the bushes handling the bodies, their faces lighting up with excitement.

From behind the large tree to their side, Luo An emerged in answer to their question, smile curling his lips, in the terrified gaze of the two enemies, Luo An raised his weapon and pulled the trigger.

A bullet fired from the gun barrel pierced the heads of both enemies from the side, splattering two glaring streams of blood.

Two more enemies were killed, leaving only the squad leader and one member running over. Seeing the scene, they aimed their guns at Luo An’s position without hesitation and frantically pulled the trigger.

Countless bullets were fired in succession, shredding the underbrush and adding a multitude of bullet holes to the trees.

Watching in disbelief, Luo An grabbed one of the enemies just killed, using the body as a shield against the hail of bullets while taking cover behind the tree. Then he forcefully threw the corpses at the captain and the member.

The captain and member were shocked by Luo An’s strength, cursed loudly, and quickly ceased firing to dodge to the side. Seizing this chance, Luo An’s figure moved rapidly, like a ghost, to the side of the two, raising his weapon and killing the member.

The remaining squad leader reacted swiftly, dove to the distance to avoid Luo An’s bullets as Luo An killed the member, and threw a grenade at Luo An.

Boom!

The grenade exploded thunderously, and Luo An, using his "emotional perception" in his mind, dodged out of the way one step ahead, moving beside the captain, whose face was full of astonishment.

The captain, in a surprise attack, managed to throw Luo An’s rifle aside. Luo An took the chance to disarm the captain of his rifle, pistol, and dagger, and then it was back and forth. Luo An, wielding the dagger, began to engage in close quarters combat with the now unarmed captain.

Ducking a stab aimed at his throat, the empty-handed captain cursed loudly and quickly rolled over to pick up a wooden stick to retaliate.

Luo An dodged the stick and delivered a heavy kick to the captain’s waist. Under the monstrous force, the captain uncontrollably stumbled backward, his waist smashing against a horizontally fallen tree trunk.

Winslow quickly got up from the ground and responded. The battle had been too intense, everyone’s communicators had been put away.

Captain Cyrus left a few people behind to take care of the wounded and guard the hostages like Hamidun and Jesper, then led the rest of the members toward the cliff, taking the shortest route in search of Luo An.

Captain John took a deep look at the distant cliff, suppressed the admiration in his heart, and hastened to follow.

Several injured team members fumbled for medical supplies and bandages, hastily treating their own wounds. Not bothering whether the bullets were still inside their bodies, they all supported each other and moved beside Winslow, fixated on the communication device in his hands.

Having prepared the communicator and opened the communication channel, Winslow pressed the button:
