The 14 soldiers stared at their king, they all wanted to jump on the queen and rescue her, however, they could not do it, not for the spider queen but for their king.

In their minds a clear order had been given, stop, do not interfere, the orders echoed in their minds like their own thoughts, so they all remained still, unable to disobey.

The sharp legs of the spider queens pierced the body of their creation and stuffed it into their mouth, she looked at the soldiers who looked at her with feelings she didn’t understand.

The queen was quite sad, she had done much to produce a king who would lead her swarm as she devoured and accelerated her production, and then she would open a dimensional portal for her people.

She had consumed enough humans to know that beyond this dead forest lay a world ruled by countless hunters, and if a portal were opened and her people invaded, she would be richly rewarded.

Unfortunately for her, her plans would have to be postponed, as the human had absorbed the dimensional orb and her useless king was killed by her, much more resources are needed to carry out her people’s plan.

The queen’s paws stretched out, freeing the humans who were trapped in their cocoons, her king devoured only one of them, leaving 20 for her to devour to cleanse her disappointment .

This time she was devouring for pure pleasure, she wasn’t doing it to create more mutant spiders, without a king to control them, exceeding their current numbers was fruitless and the 14 soldiers before her were proof.

In the end the queen had to admit, creating a king before coming of age and accessing the collective knowledge was foolish on her part, but it didn’t matter, she would create another king in a few months.

The queen decided to start with a human who stood out from the rest, the one she had in her paws was dressed differently.

Just as the queen’s paw was about to pierce the human, an electric current stopped her, her body glowed with purple electricity, and she dropped the human to the ground.

The soldiers did not interfere, they just remained still as their king had ordered them.

The energy in the human’s body escaped and condensed into a human-like creature, the queen knew that this creature was different from humans.

She walked away excitedly and ordered the 14 soldiers to deal with the creature that just appeared, however, none of them made any move, the queen became angry, she then ordered her swarm to come to her.

The forest trembled as from the farthest reaches of the forest, thousands of mutant spiders began to move in a single direction, trees were felled before such a procession.

Spider-Man decided to get rid of everything that was out of her control, even though the 14 warriors were the most powerful she had created, if they didn’t follow her orders then she didn’t want them.

The figure that just appeared was none other than the knight belonging to Alex, as she had been instructed, as soon as her master suffered any danger, she should appear and protect him.

A fifth of Alex’s MP was drained even though he was unconscious, the purple-skinned, white-haired beauty wearing black armor raised her delicate hands and formed a barrier of electricity.

The knight placed her palm against Alex’s chest and released an electric shock, after doing this a few times, she gave up, walked over to the members of the blue spirit guild and gave each of them a shock.

Unlike Alex who didn’t wake up, as soon as each of them received enough voltage, they all woke up from their unconscious state, some were twisting while holding their chests and others were simply breathing heavily.

19 Members of the blue spirit guild were awake looking at all sides of the cave, they were protected by a network of electric current forming a protective grid.

Sarah cast a healing spell that surrounded everyone in the cave, slowly everyone retreated most of their HP and MP, it was then that Rouke spoke to calm and reassure everyone.

"Everyone calm down"

Most of the hunters were scared, they had been through several horrors with the spiders and now they were facing the spider queens in a dark cave.

The memory of seeing their comrades killed by these grotesque things is still vivid in their minds, their comrades were devoured alive right before their eyes.

They felt that soon they would be the ones to be devoured by the four-eyed spider monster that was staring at them, and they weren’t wrong, the queen would do just that, it would devour every single one of them.

The queen only didn’t attack because she didn’t have the ability to attack and defend herself properly, apart from her colossal body and her huge, sharp claw-like paws, she had nothing else to tell.

Of course she could also shoot acid and golden webs, but she didn’t like to get involved in brawls, that was why she had produced a swarm, she wouldn’t stoop to fighting her prey.

"The first phase of Palhano was successfully completed since we are all alive, and the second part as well," Rouke said unable to believe his words.

Alex’s plan consisted of being captured alive, that was the first part, the second part consisted of freeing everyone who had been captured, and finally he would make three .

"Leader, I think someone is missing. We were supposed to be 21. If Alex is counted too, it’s another matter. Alex is unconscious and I can’t wake him up." Sarah pulled Rouke into a corner and conveyed her regret to the leader.

The other members of the Blue Spirit Guild who didn’t know Alex began to theorize about them, because by his suit they didn’t identify him as an agent of the Hunters’ Association.

"Leader, countless mutant spiders are coming towards us" Daniel called out in advance to Rouke and said fearfully.

"Can you estimate your numbers?" Rouke’s headache deepened as he asked.

"There are a lot, thousands of them, I think." Daniel had his hands on the ground, looked at Rouke and said these very exciting words.

" Shit " Rouke said almost too loudly, he looked at his hunters who were ending in fear, how they would fight if they knew what was coming.

Rouke kicked the unconscious Alex’s legs, if it weren’t for the knight looking at him menacingly, Rouke would have strangled Alex right there, where his head was when he agreed to participate in this crazy plan.

Rouke called his companions, Brem, Liam, Daniel and Sarah, he was then honest only with them, excluding Sarah who already knew everything, the rest listened carefully to everything that happened after his capture.

"Leader, how could they agree to such a plan? What will we do now that the Hunters’ Association agent won’t wake up?" Liam said, shaking his head.

"A considerable number of spiders are coming towards us, instead of pointing fingers, it would be better if we found a solution to escape alive" Daniel demonstrated the urgency of the situation.

"There is still the queen and these 14 humanoid monsters , from what we went through it was clear that the more human - like they were, the stronger the monsters were and if you ignore their 4 eyes and their skin, they are practically human"

Brem said with his skin getting all goosebumps.

"How much longer will your conversation last? You’re just worrying the other hunters even more." Tiffany walked over and said to the 5 who were engrossed in their conversation.

"Miss Tiffany, you have no right to speak here, if we are in this condition, most of the blame is yours" Rouke said a little irritated, he knew this very well.

In response Tiffany shrugged, she was tired of all this, first they protected her like a piece of glass, it was annoying without a doubt, now when everything had changed, even survival was something futile at the moment.

Human nature was put to the test in the midst of hardship, these 11 days that she spent trapped in this dungeon taught her a lot, if somehow, Tiffany gets out of this place alive, she would follow her own path.

She already knew the type of hunter she intended to be, she wouldn’t let her sister choose and direct her path, even if someone imposed a path on her, at the end of the day you would still have to walk it alone.

To avoid future regrets, it would be better if she herself chose what to follow.
