CHAPTER 40: ELDERLY CLASH

SSS-RANKED Draco’s aura blazed with murderous intensity. "He’s my prey, don’t you dare touch him."

Jayden’s eyeballs were shaking, he could see SSS-RANKED Draco on a completely different level in just an instant.

"Who-who are they?" Jayden stammered.

SSS-RANKED Draco whispered without removing his gaze from the water dragons, "Stand back, those two are your brothers from another father."

"They wanna kill me too?"

"As it stands, my father has placed a bounty on your head, but only gave me permission to cross the border between our world."

’That means I’m a fugitive in Vaelora.’ Jayden thought, then winced, "Aren’t they elderly dragons? Can you take them both?"

SSS-RANKED Draco laughed softly, "Did I tell you the emperor would grant a wish to whoever has your head.

In Vaelora, dragons aren’t allowed to marry from different clans, so I’m not missing my only opportunity to make that possible."

SSS-RANKED Draco stepped forward with red aura blazing like a furnace around him, "Hey, you guys should fuck off." He shouted.

Prince Yami and his brother, the heir to the water clan throne—Prince Zuko, descended to the ground.

"Why haven’t you killed the imposter already?" Zuko muttered, as the ground below his feet turned into ice.

"The imposter is your brother, you idiot!" SSS-RANKED shouted back.

Zuko laughed like a psychopath, "When did the emperor’s heir become such a fool? Well, I’m grateful to you for being him right into my claws.

SSS-RANKED Draco clenched his fist, his pressure doubled and the ground below his feet collapsed a bit. "He’s mine, so I’ll advise you to back off."

Yami burst into laughter, "Or what? You’re gonna beat two elderly dragons on your own?"

SSS-RANKED Draco clenched his fist, "I don’t wanna beat up my love’s brothers, so don’t make me."

"Then try!" Yami and Zuko shouted, then rested their backs against each other and twisted their arms together, then blasted a massive spinning burst of ice at SSS-RANKED Draco.

"Don’t blame me if you get burnt," SSS-RANKED Draco roared and then charged straight into the ice, melting his way through it with just the heat from his aura.

Jayden stood behind, absorbing mana as fast as he could, yet he stood paralysed. He couldn’t leave his one true elder brother behind and even if he wanted to, where’s the way back to earth?

BOOM

SSS-RANKED Draco and the water Princes clashed, the ground crashing beneath their feet and the air howling with steam.

"Not half bad!" SSS-RANKED draco purred before the scene went into blurry chaos, red and blue light blazing through the sky and ice shattering at random spots in an instant.

Jayden tried his best to keep up with their movement, but he couldn’t, not even with sight. Still, he was desperately seeking a way to help without joining in the battle.

’This battle is a two-versus-one, and Big Brother is liable to have a disadvantage in speed’

Jayden clenched his head with both arms, "Think... think... how can you make him faster

He visualised SSS-RANKED Draco’s flame power in his mind for a few minutes.

"That’s it!" He bared his teeth enthusiastically, then yelled with his hands cupped around his mouth, "brother, compress flame underneath your feet to move faster and below your palms for more effective hits.

Brother—"

Jayden was shouting before he noticed two sharp spikes of ice flying right at him. Then Yami’s voice rang out from the explosions: "Shut up, you pest!"

Jayden shielded his head with his arm before he felt blazing heat close to him.

He lifted his gaze and saw that SSS-RANKED Draco was standing in front of him with the ice reduced to nothing but steam.

"Focus on me!" He roared then charged right at them again, but this time with fireballs beneath his feet that tripled his speed. The impact shattered the ground where he had stood."

"Yes! It worked. Big brother is also quick at adapting" Jayden smiled, but that technique would only be effective if he fights strategically.

SSS-RANKED Draco lunch straight at them, and just before they connected for a clash, he directed his limbs below him, the force carried him over the water clan princes and he punched them through their openings from behind.

They crashed into the mountain with a force that shattered it.

Yami and Zuko spat out blue blood and slowly got up to their feet.

"Try to keep up!" SSS-RANKED draco purred

"Don’t get your hopes high, fool", Yami snarled as he got up to his feet.

SSS-RANKED Draco burst into laughter, "Just get your stumpy ass outta here while you still got the chance."

"In your dreams!" Zuko signalled Yami before he charged at Draco, throwing an ice ball ahead of him.

SSS-RANKED Draco countered with an explosive fireball, only to see Zuko flying past the explosion with an ice blade ahead of him.

SSS-RANKED Draco managed to escape any brutal damage, leaving a thin line of blood on his face.

They lunched at each other, colliding fists countless times.

SSS-RANKED Draco was barely keeping up with Zuko’s punches when Yami began shooting spikes of ice from a range.

He rushed for Yami in an attempt to close the distance between them three but Zuko cut him off, punching him to the gut.

"What the hell!" Jayden bit his lips, moving his head here and there to try to keep up with the battle.

"With this formation of theirs, brother would get drained up in no time."

Jayden rubbed a hand down his face, "Okay, think... what am I gonna do?"

He paced around, trying to build something, but the countless explosions kept interrupting his thoughts.

The pressure in the air spiked significantly and Jayden immediately looked up.

SSS-RANKED Draco’s body was covered with a red aura in a circumference as large as a spaceship, and his wings grew larger.

"So you’re going all out!" Yami smiled.

Zuko put both of his palms together, "In that case, we’ll do the same!"

Zuko and Yami’s blue aura exploded out as if held back for too long, and the grounds beneath their feet cracked until the mountain completely shattered.

Jayden jumped from one broken rock to another, while running from the chaotic scene.

"You think his gonna survive this?" Draco whispered in his mind"

Jayden looked back with clenched teeth, "They’re all on the same level, you know if miracles exist in Vaelora?"
