Levelling Up, I Became The strongest Dragon Elementalist
Chapter 41: Zone State
CHAPTER 41: ZONE STATE
This had become a clash of titans, even the movements of their wings made the ground vibrate and every single magical creature had emigrated to anywhere safer.
Jayden stood, watching from afar, because what else could he do when even the ground below the dragon elders was unstable?
"Your last warning, Draco!" Zuko cracked his neck, "Hand over the kid and save your balls."
"My balls?" Draco lifted an eyebrow, "Take them if you can."
He lunged at the water princess, each distance covered seemed to shake the whole terrain.
Yami and Zuko bit their lips in pity, "I thought you’d be smart enough to just submit."
They flew at him, their large shield of aura clashing first with an explosion of wind, then they screamed, pushing harder to enter each other’s aura defence.
Slowly, they closed on each other until their fist clashed, then BOOM!
The explosion split the clouds and the ground in half.
SSS-RANKED Draco kept on pushing harder, his muscles enlarging and his main goal—to marry the water clan princess kept on playing in his mind as a motivation
"I... can’t... lose...." he roared then overpowered the punch, forcing Yami and Zuko to crash into four mountains before skidding across the bare rock.
SSS-RANKED Draco roared, conjuring small needles from his aura and shooting them right at Yami and Zuko.
Jayden was shocked and excited at the same time. He had begun to believe miracles do exist in Vaelora, seeing his elder brother defeat two elderly dragons, but little did he know this wasn’t a miracle. It was the willpower he had for the Water Clan princess at work.
His eyes glistened with admiration, "conjuring mana needles at such speed! That’s insane mana control, brother got there." He tapped his feet excitedly.
SSS-RANKED draco lunched into the dust and picked Zuko up, punching countless times with strength capable of breaking his ribs.
When he was satisfied with the amount of damage, he caught Zuko by his arm and tossed him to the ground.
Then turned to Yami, who was just standing up with a lot of injuries and blue blood crawing down his skin. SSS-RANKED Draco dived at him and punched every joint in his body with massive force, then launched an elbow strike right into his chest.
"Come on, is that all you’ve got? What happened to crushing my balls?" SSS-RANKED tease.
Zuko climbed out from who knows how deep down the ground he was thrown into. Blood was all over his face, but there wasn’t any sign of giving up, and that was the same for Yami.
They ran lazily at SSS-RANKED Draco in a straight path.
SSS-RANKED reached them first in the blink of an eye and slammed them to the side with just one hit.
But something felt off, for elderly dragons just now they didn’t pull off any fight.
It was as if they were just acting as bait.
Wait, bait?
SSS-RANKED Draco looked towards Jayden to see a large ice spike just inches before him.
"Brother!!!!" He screamed, directing all his flame aura into a massive fireball under his feet and flew right at Jayden.
Jayden was already saying his last prayers for forgiveness when he was pushed aside.
Time slowed and Jayden turned in shock just as he was falling to the ground. His eyes widened and his heart felt as though a needle was pierced into it.
"Fuck... Brother... why did you—" Jayden rasped, crumbling in terror.
The ice pierced through SSS-RANKED Draco’s chest and protruded from his back. Warm blue blood traced its way down the ice, and he smiled, despite the blood that crept down his mouth.
"What’s with the smile? What happened to marrying the water clan princess?" Tears crawled down Jayden’s face as the cold bit into his skin, and Draco’s heat slowly began to wash away.
SSS-RANKED Draco whispered before falling to the ground, "I’m happy I didn’t have to kill you... brother."
Yami’s sarcastic voice cut into their moment, "Hey, hey, what are you both lamenting? Games over time to pay with your lives."
"I never believed your foolishness had grown to the extent of dying for an imposter. Now you’re gone who’s gonna protect him?".
Jayden slowly stood up with dark circles covering his eyes and his limbs were shaking, not in fear, but anger.
"Jayden!" Draco whip softly in Jayden’s mind.
Jayden stole a glance at the water clan princes, "Yeah. I know"
Jayden closed his eyes and entered the ’Zone State, ’ the form where he and Draco had equal control of his human body.
Horns jutted up from his head, and light purplish dragon scales animated on his skin. Dragon wings grew from his back, one blue and covered with immense wind and the other cloaked with flame and a blade formed in his grip.
Its hilt was made out of wind, and its blade of blazing flame.
Jayden lifted his eyes, which gleamed with a light purplish glow, and when he spoke, his voice sounded like there was a deity echoing his words.
"I’ll make you both pay!" Jayden compressed flame into one fireball at the tip of his blade, making it as tiny as it could be but packed with enough power to shatter a star and then added a little wind to make its flame burn hotter.
"Ohh give me a break!" Yami purred, "Should I be scared just because you did some fancy transformation? How about you taste the power of an elderly dragon?"
He shot ice shaped like a dragon at Jayden at an incredible speed.
Jayden took a stance, teeth clenched, as he prepared to launch his fireball attack straight into Yami’s heart.
He roared, putting everything he had into that one strike. A spinning wind current flowed like electricity around him, reaching the sky.
Still waiting for that perfect moment, until, BOOM
A wall of ice formed in front of Jayden, and the ice dragon crashed into it.
Jayden’s animosity dropped, confusingly searching for who might have defended him.
It was certainly not SSS-RANKED Draco then who?
His eyes caught a female flying in the air with blue dragon scales.
She looked somewhat familiar, as though he had seen her somewhere before.
"Isn’t that elder brother obsession?" Draco whispered and Jayden realised.
"The water clan princess!"
