Levelling Up, I Became The strongest Dragon Elementalist
Chapter 43: Two Weeks later
CHAPTER 43: TWO WEEKS LATER
Tyler stepped forward, "No don’t, I’ll help."
Jayden raised an eyebrow, "You’ve got any history with wound treatment?"
"No... I mean, I’m capable of healing in my beast form, though it’s slow."
"Seriously?" Ryan said with a baffled expression.
"God, Tyler you’re that awesome? Then what the fuck are you waiting for?" Jayden stepped away from SSS-RANKED Draco.
Tyler let out a deep breath, "Okay. Lemme give it a try."
He closed his eyes and transformed into his beast form.
A Phanerophyte plant with short branches and leaves interconnected with plant vines that dropped down like stalactites.
Jayden placed SSS-RANKED Draco at the foot of the tree, and gold healing dust began falling off its branches like midnight stars.
"Amazing, an evolved aspect that allows Tyler to convert his mana into healing dust capable of healing wounds and replenishing mana"
Jayden nodded in approval, "But his present mana wouldn’t be able to do much."
Jayden rushed to the cupboard where Tyler’s earth crystals were stored and took every last one.
"Yo. Ryan, come help me with this" Jayden handed Ryan some crystals, then they tied them to the vines that hung on the tree.
Ryan gave Jayden a complete look, "You might wanna drop the element advertisements before you burn the whole room.
That was when Jayden noticed he was still in his incomplete Zone State.
He collaborated with Draco and regained full control of his human body.
The horns, dragon scales and elemental wings vanished all at once like a dead candlelight.
"So you’re gonna tell me where you went for two whole weeks? Man, we were creeping out.
I had to guess your big brother had finally decided to terminate you, but seeing you here all powered up and him lying like a broken soul, kinda tells me you somehow beat him, but of course I can’t believe that."
Jayden fell to the bed, "Well. You’re half correct, I was going to get killed, but I did absolutely nothing to Big Brother.
You said I was gone for two weeks, but to me, it feels like I only spent twelve hours in Vaelora.
Fuck, did the school put across a call home? What about Zoe? Wait, hope no important test or exams were held."
"Where’s Vaelora?" Tyler tossed him a bottle of water.
"Thanks, man", Jayden downed half the water before replying. "The home to dragons."
"You guys went to the dragon realm? How was it? Where’s it?"
Jayden gestured at Ryan to calm down, "Yes, we did, but you’ll have to answer my questions first."
Ryan slouched, "Okay, we tried getting the Managing Director to call your parents, but they kept on saying they would, but never did, also your absence was completely unnoticed, except by Mr Williams, even Zoe acted like you were a past she never lived."
Jayden bit his finger, ’I guess she’s angry at me, why not? I always vanish just when we plan to see each other. I’ve gotta find a way to make it up to her as quickly as possible’
Jayden glanced at the Dodder Vine tree. The mana in the earth crystals had been absorbed, and the earth turned into common clay and fell to the floor.
Meanwhile, SSS-RANKED Draco seemed to be in a better condition; his wounds weren’t completely healed, but all forms of bleeding had stopped.
"We’re gonna need more earth crystals" Jayden bit his lips.
"Yeah, but we don’t have more."
Without hesitation, Jayden took a bag with some necessary tools, "I’ll go mine some in the dungeon"
"Huuu? This night?, Why the stress? I’ll say you just let this dude pass out, he’s on a mission to kill you, remember?"
Jayden quickly placed a hand over Ryan’s lips, "he’s in that condition because of me."
Then slowly backed off and exited the room.
Cool breeze blew past him, but felt like a reminder of how conducive Vaelora was, if only his head wasn’t a high prize there.
Jayden felt a tight grip around his ankle, and he immediately jumped forward, pulling himself and the vines that held him off the ground.
"What the—" Jayden narrowed his gaze at mana weeds, staked at random spots which weren’t there just minutes ago.
The school always had carpet grass everywhere, so how did some of them become mana-evolved species in just an instant?
Jayden traced the points where carpet grasses had evolved into hydrilla-like beasts.
"Those aren’t any random placements!"
The first group of mana weeds were at the exact point where he landed while bringing his elder brother back to the room, and the others followed the exact path he took to his room door.
And this would only mean one thing.
"Mana wasn’t what was evolving beast, it was dragon blood."
’Couldn’t the MAGEO have found out about that?’ Jayden asked himself.
If he shared this information with the public, he would become a public figure overnight, but that was exactly what he was avoiding. On the other hand, there’s certainly no way the organisation that’s 750 years old wouldn’t have noticed that, even after experimenting with dragons to date.
Naaa, sharing this wasn’t an option, the big deal would be when the sun sets and people gather to see a trail of evolved grass growing right towards room 24.
Then there would be a lot of questions to answer, most especially since Jayden and the new student, just suddenly appeared after two weeks.
"Gotta clean up this mess" Jayden shook his head.
He studied the area. He was between two hostels, which hosted seventy-three students.
Probably don’t wanna rouse them from their slumber.
Jayden raised one hand, trying to pull off the same trick SSS-RANKED Draco did in the dungeon, but not even a spark of flame was ignited.
Burning objects that far away without direct contact with flames were certainly higher-level techniques he hadn’t yet acquired.
Jayden lit up the mana weeds with small balls of flames, one of the most subtle but deadliest elements.
Eyelids were shot and doors were locked, so the chance of the flame drawing attention was low.
Still, one of the two sensitive body parts that stayed open even while asleep was the nose.
Jayden had to manipulate the carbon oxides, using his wind element, from scattering around into rising straight to the sky.
The cleanup was successful, but damn, burnt marks were left on the ground. Jayden covered them up with sand, then, OFF TO THE DUNGEON.
