Levelling Up, I Became The strongest Dragon Elementalist
Chapter 44: Baby Draco
CHAPTER 44: BABY DRACO
Jayden collected about seventy mature earth crystals from the dungeon, despite the number it was quite easy as all he did was locate the level two dungeon’s trap room with those many treasures, tempting though, but naaa, he needed the space for crystals.
"Big brother’s completely healed but still hasn’t regained consciousness, and Tyler isn’t giving up yet" Jayden whispered just as he woke up from sleep.
Jayden stood up to his morning routines. First, he created the day’s schedule in his head. Next was supposed to be dressing the bed and then taking a bath, but since Ryan was still sleeping on it, curiosity found an opportunity to grip Jayden.
Thinking of the previous day’s accident, he asked himself, "What’s my rank now?"
Jayden rushed to the container where he stored his crystals, but stopped midway, clenching his fist.
"These crystals are like filling a drum with a teaspoon, not to mention the difference in mana purity, if only I could sneak into Vaelora without getting noticed"
"Don’t even think about it" two voices cut in slyly.
Jayden took a step back, nervously looking at both sides, "Big brother, Ryan, you both are awake?"
Ryan sat up. "Of course, you’re like my alarm, once it’s 6:00am, you wake up like there’s some clock in you."
"Immediately you cross the portal into Vaelora, signals would be sent to all four clans, then, there certainly would be no escape, not even wondering birds make it out.
Jayden turned to look at SSS-RANKED Draco, his heart tensed, his eyes widened and he jumped back on top of the bed, crawling until his back was against the wall.
"Who are you? Where’s big brother? What did you do to him?" Jayden panicked, pointing straight at the guy in front of him.
Ryan clenched his teeth, quietly using his glass frog’s evolved aspect to escape the room.
"Relax guys, I just lost a lot of mana."
Jayden narrowed his gaze, ’That voice, it’s him, no, more like a kindergarten version of him.’
"Is that why you’re looking like a 13-year-old baby?"
"Don’t call me a baby, I’m centuries older than you", SSS-RANKED Draco protested, well, at this rank, no dragon scales, no horns and where did his tail and wings go?
He literally looks like an ordinary human, sure doesn’t deserve the SSS-RANKED title anymore, more like baby draco.
Jayden walked slowly towards baby Draco, he bent low to his height and held a laugh within his chest, causing his body to jerk.
"So, should I call you elder brother or younger brother?"
Baby Draco grinned his teeth and punched Jayden in his chest.
Jayden looked at baby Draco’s hands; at least that strength would squash a mosquito, but it didn’t tickle Jayden at all.
"Okay, this is hilarious!" Draco giggled in Jayden’s mind.
Jayden nodded, ’his not even a threat right now, that means...’
Jayden raised a fist in victory, "I can go see Zoe."
Baby Draco took a glance at his tini whini hands, ’I’m weaker than a weakling, do I really look that bad?’
He rushed to a mirror hung on the wall, "shit" he bellowed, dashing away from the mirror like it was the gate to hell.
Baby Draco clenched his face, "What would Azure think if she sees me like this. No...no... no..."
He had begun pacing around the room, with a firm grip on his cheeks, "I need to absorb mana or else there wouldn’t be a marriage between me and Azure. I’ve always wanted a sugar mummy, but fucken not like this!"
Jayden and Tyler stood at a corner, arms crossed while trying to hold back their laughs.
Baby Draco found his way back to the mirror, but his new height didn’t let him get a full view. He dragged Draco’s sleeping couch to the mirror and placed a foot to climb on it but paused immediately.
He was hearing soft cheeky laughs from the side.
Baby Draco shot Jayden and Ryan a dangerous glare and they immediately acted like they were dressing the bed.
"Hmph" baby Draco scoffed and proceeded to climb the couch.
Baby Draco began laughing at his reflection in the mirror.
He turned to Jayden, "You were saying something about going to Vaelora, how about now, I’ll lead the way."
Jayden began whistling like he didn’t hear, baby Draco.
"I’m talking to you, kid!" Baby Draco shouted.
Jayden hissed, "Kid. How then do you plan on leading the way without wings?"
Baby Draco twisted his shoulder to feel his wings, but they were long gone, leaving only two small protruding bones.
"Shit, Tyler, you can transform back now!" Ryan said.
Jayden slapped his temple, "We damn forgot him, who knows if he can hear us in that form?"
Tyler transformed into his human form, but the vines protruding from his back were broader now.
He rushed to Jayden, grabbing him by the shoulder and almost shaking his soul out of him.
"Guy, I think those dragon blood evolved my beast, my vines feel stronger, and the healing process was damn quick, I couldn’t heal a bunny in almost two days, but see what I just did."
He narrowed his gaze at baby Draco, "Wait, that kid sorta looks like big brother Draco."
"Don’t just let him hear you call him kid."
"Alright. Alright," Ryan, the punctuality lord, stopped the conversation as always, "we’ve got classes soon, and we’re already running late. Go get prepared, and Jayden, be ready to download two weeks of lessons except you’re willing to lose your top-grade academic streak."
Jayden smiled, "Not happening.
Things proceeded as usual. Jayden still had to manage the crystals that did very little in boosting his stats. After that, it turns out he reached B-rank tier three (B³) on both his activated elemental cores.
Mad progress, I say, but let his test and examination performance handle the judgments.
Also, Tyler did a stats check, thinking his ranking had increased, but nope, it was still where it had always been.
The only effect the dragon blood implied was upgrading his evolved aspect and maybe granted him another one, yet to be found out.
Jayden notted his tie and picked up his bag.
Now it was time to face the outside world after two weeks.
