Life as a Royal’s Breeding Partner
Chapter 324 – Second Family Dinner
I needed Irlo to direct me back to the manor. A little embarrassing, but she got me confused on the way out, and I don't know the castle grounds very well. But it is nice to be flying. I can't wait till Irlo is able to fly on her own, and I need to get Mommy in the air as well.
Aurora did her best not to look disappointed at the state of my dress. Making me get changed into a simple red dress before joining my family in the dining room. Elora looked liked she had been crying again. The rest of my old wives are just a bit nervous. Shimmer's arms were shaking even. I wonder if her Mother yelled at her about something.
I need to visit Fluvis and the damn Phoenixes. Somehow, I need not get pulled into seeing the Phoenix Shimmer called to kill the enemy. All before that stupid war, along with trying to find some Goddesses that are actually going to be useful in a fight. I see why the Goddess of Dragons told me to marry everyone. I would be crawling on the ground without getting any sleep, trying to make it to enough Goddesses to protect me from Nature and Justice.
Fucking bitches.
Even Yuki's tails look a bit messed up from Nakuma. All the Princesses in this marriage are struggling, including me, if I can really be called a Princess. I don't think the royal dragons care for me much.
"Hello everyone," I say, getting their attention. "Where is Irlo?"
"I'm here, Daddy!" Irlo says, standing behind a chair near the head of the table. "Grandma said I could sit near you!"
"Good," I say. "Didn't want to start without you." With that, I head to my chair and sit down. It feels weird to have so many women sit down after me. Even fucking Azula is at the dinner table, at the very end of the table, but still here. I need to find out when the Bitch Queen is going to lose her head. So much to do, and I haven't even listed out caring for my children.
The food comes quickly after I sit, maid after maid comes to get all the food needed for everyone. Irlo does get a smaller portion. Not that it means much with how much food gets pilled up before us. Should I start this with another stupid speech? How many times am I going to have a new wife added to this harem?
"I suppose I should say something with new women sitting at this table," I say. Aurora gives me a small smile, so clearly I am meant to do this. "This family has one real goal, and that is to let me spend time with my kids. Some of you will be in charge of providing me plenty of kids to play with, others for me to love, and others I don't know. To get to this goal, we have a stupid fight with some goddesses. We'll have to work hard to get through that challenge, and after we overcome it, I am open to seeing what everyone's true position in the harem will be. Long term, I would like us all to be happy, or at least not miserable. We'll have to see how everything works out after the war to handle that truly."
"We understand," Elora says. "Thank you."
"Yes," I say. That wasn't a great speech to give in front of Irlo, but she's more interested in the food, so it should be fine.
"I'm hungry," Irlo says.
"Oh, yes," I say. "Not used to being in control." They really taught Irlo that stupid rule? Whatever, I can take a bite and let everyone get on with their night.
"Did you get to show Daddy any good flowers?" Mommy asks.
"Yes! I got to show all of them, and he knew they were pretty," Irlo says.
"Your Daddy does have a good taste for flowers," Mommy says. "Once got dragged out after a long day. Alzi swore it would just be around the corner. Yet we somehow ended up halfway across the village to see the flower. Luckily, she has her light, so I could still see the flower at night. It was a pretty red flower. Not sure the exact type. We were both so tired coming back. Someone actually fell asleep for once. Making me carry her back home. Guards were stopping me as I walked back, wondering why I was out so late. That was the worst thing you ever did, Alzi."
"I thought it was closer than it was. Not sure how, but I was," I say. "It was one of my best finds, I think. So it was worth it."
"Yes, every find was worth it. But I was dead tired the next day at work. But you were waiting for me in the kitchen with your bright smile," Mommy says. "You always gave me plenty of energy when I got home."
"I was really happy when you showed up."
"I was always happy to see you, baby," Mommy says. "Now, I saw the state of your dress when you came back. What else did you get Daddy to do, Irlo?"
"We played tag. Miranda and Sarania joined us as well," Irlo says. "They all struggled to catch me!"
"You turn a lot better than us," I say. I'm going to have to learn how to lose on purpose gracefully, it seems. Irlo looks too happy winning for me to fight her too much.
"I'm a quick champion."
"I bet," Mommy says. "Be careful not to make your Daddy too competitive in tag. She'll start to train if you do. She was really good when she was your age. Hide and seek and tag were her favorites. Daddy wasn't as good at hide and seek as you can imagine."
"Yes! I could spot Daddy from anywhere!" Irlo says.
So I really was always known back then. Mommy was really kind not to catch me quickly. I guess that should've been obvious with how easily I can be seen. I wasn't a small kid either.
Down the table was the same as before, minus Nanoka showing up. Elora is picking at her food alone as Shimmer manages to worm her way into the conversations with my old wives. The last group is obviously different, eating in silence. I wonder which one is going to end up in my bed tomorrow. Should I call that off?
No, they could've done more to stop their stupid wife. I think.

Should I just let Alzi raise Irlo while the war is going on? Even with me unable to be on the front lines, I'm too busy to do anything with Irlo.
No, I need to make sure Irlo gets her lessons. Alzi still doesn't understand the importance of them. For now, we just split the time. When I leave, Alzi can take over fully.
"How long has it been since we've executed a Queen?" Louts asks. Why is she in love with showing off her belly?
"It hasn't happened before for this Queendom," I say. "What if it doesn't work out for us?"
"What could go wrong? Her wives are married to Alzi now as slaves. Her people wish for her death as well. This is the only outcome possible, is it not?"
"I thought the same thing," I say. "But Royalty was dodging my questions about it and refusing to tell me what would happen. She won't answer anything right now. She hardly gives me any information, saying there are too many royals fighting for her to make choices."
"Interesting," Louts says. "Interesting. Well, it'll be interesting then, at least."
Just what we need, interesting.

With the dessert done, Irlo had to get shuffled off to bed. She did seem to be getting tired, so I couldn't come to her defense, no matter how much she wanted me to. She's hard to say no to, but she needed to get some sleep. She still has all the stupid noble lessons she has to go to.
Then I needed to collect Mai and Yuki before they could run off. I was going to find the bath and Calli, and have a relaxing night with their tails. I think Mai will go into labor soon as well, so it'll be good to be close to her and give her a bit of pampering. I'm sure she's worried after her last time in labor nearly killed her. If the Mistress hadn't decided to make me a breeding bitch and gotten Kelly, Mai likely would've died. Inanos is going to be in a similar situation, with four kids on the way in that small body.
I guess that is just the normal state for my wives. I'll have to find a good way to keep it from being all my wives at once.
Maybe I should offer some 'tea' parties to help my wives out on the pregnancy thing.
Tails! "Mai, Yuki," I say. "Come with me, we have a good night planned out."
"What do you have planned?" Mai asks. I was never much for plans in the brothel, or ever.
"Bath then grooming?" I say. "Isn't that a good plan?"
"For you, yes," Mai says, waddling over to my side. "Normally, there would be a few more plans added."
"Well, that is all I thought about," I say. Yuki has to escape Nakuma to get to me. Should I? "Nakuma, will you behave? Yuki is going to be mine tonight, but you can be with us."
"I will," Nakuma says, teleporting to our side.
So much fluff for me tonight. I wonder if Elyne likes her tail getting fluffed as well? I can worry about that later. I've got enough for tonight. "Aurora is Calli near?" I ask.
"I suspected you would want a bath, so she should be there already waiting for you, your Highness," Aurora says. "I'll be teaching your Mother and her wives to read. Shyla will be around with Annoris if you need help. Then you have Sarania as well."
"Thank you," I say, walking out of the dining room. I hope Mommy likes the lessons more than I do. Maybe it'll be better with friends who are in the same place, so you don't feel as stupid.
