I've gotten lazy. No, I don't know what to do. I would act, but I don't know how to. I can't train, talk to my wives, find issues with the commoners, or anything really. With my plentiful free time, I've already handled all post-war matters I have, for now, more will come in, but that will take a few days. Then I'm still in charge of the nobles who supported my campaign for the throne. But they all have to make it back to their land, and with the new war, that won't happen for a while.

All I can do is sit here.

A soft knock comes from the door. Sedriressa peeks her head out, so it must be a maid delivering some message. Maybe I'll have some work, or an event to stand around at.

"Thank you," Sedriresa says, closing the door. "Your Highness, Princess Alzi was attacked during her trip to the tmeple of War. She has returned already, and the Royal Healer, Kelly, and Princess Alzi herself have said she's alright. Syro said she had a nightmare or something on the way back, but that is all. Princess Alzi does believe War will give us her support."

"I'm useless," I say, the all-too-common tears running down my cheek. "I was applauding myself for holding my love's hand while she was getting attacked! Is this all I am? A stupid joke!"

Sedriresa forces me into a hug, coming into my lap and cradling my head on her shoulder. "No, no. You're pregnant, Elora. There isn't more for you to do. You were happy you did what you could and that is fine."

"I was happy I pretended to help Alzi, then an hour later she was attacked and I could do nothing. I can't do anything to help her. I'm better at hiding in my room than doing anything. Respond to the bit of mail that comes my way. That's all. Just write some letters as my wife fights. Every chance there is to protect Alzi, I miss or fail to protect Alzi. I'm only ever there for the moments that don't matter! Why am I here? I was made for a single purpose, and that moment is gone. What's the point?"

I can just give Alzi her daughter and leave. There's no point to my being here; nobody wants me here. She can pick up some sisters to marry. One of them can sit on the throne so Alzi can focus on her beautiful children. Alzi doesn't need someone to answer some mail or hold her hand for no reason. It would be better someone she cares about holds her hand.

"You have so much more. You've made a successful bid for the throne. Picked out a strong family. You have the kid to teach and love."

"Pointless. This family hates me, and my sister would do a better job ruling than I would. I can't show the kid the love they deserve. I can't do it to the women I love right now, how could I do it to the child? No, I'm just good for being a womb, and Alzi has plenty of those that she actually loves."

"You'll see. I know you have more, Elora," Sedriressa says. Doing what she can to comfort her useless Princess.

What a hard job she has, trying to get a useless woman to think she has a purpose in this world.

"Do I have time to see Fluvis?" I ask. Crazy that I have to ask to see twelve of my kids! Sixteen if her letter is true. And they may get to join me in the capital so I can see them even more, yet that may have to get pushed off.

"I think so. We may have just to drop in and see her, so no need to write a letter, Your Highness," Aurora says.

"What else do I need to do today?" I ask. Besides fuck some bitches. Oh, it will feel so great bloating those two up. I have to hold fast to my thoughts. I'm swayed too easily. I have to give out my punishments.

"Just dinner in an hour or so, and then there is the ice realm business. After dinner, we can read a story to your kids before you handle that business. Then tomorrow we can get to the Duchess and handle that business. I'm sure Shimmer will want to go with us and leave from the Duchess to her lands. Then Tantsu is looking for you to meet her soon as well. That will have to wait till after you handle the Phoenixes."

"That is a lot of things that have very little to do with my kids."

"Yes, your Highness," is all Aurora has to say. Not that there is much to say about it. Fucking Goddesses won't let me be. I wonder if they stirred this shit up with the Edoezia Queendom and maybe even sent the fucking True ice bitch queen down here so that I couldn't rest.

Not needing to send out a letter, I shift my focus to the dragon sleeping in my bed. I haven't gotten much time with Mommy's wives, and I have a great chance to fix that with one of them right now, a pretty green dragon sleeping in my lands.

I sneak into my bed, working under the covers slowly. I have to avoid her tail and then pounce, the best you can, while under the heavy covers.

"What's my wife doing sleeping in my bed?" I ask, wrapping the petite woman in a hug. I may have stripped before slipping into the bed as well.

"Waiting for you to show up, dear. I knew you would walk me up," Ilka says. "Now. On to the real business." The older dragon spins in my arms and pushes me onto my back. She quickly straddles my waist, hands finding my massive tits. "Better. Are you ok? Be honest. Your Mother is worried about you, and don't lie. There is no need to hide things from your wives."

"I don't know," I say. "I think the only reason I'm not pulling my hair out is Osanna and whatever Sarania did to her. Maybe the reason I'm alive. If that keeps up, then I'm fine."

"So you aren't fine. I wish I could just tell you to slow down, but we can't. If there is anything we can do, as your wives and your elders, please tell us. That goes for you, too, maid. Don't let our wife take it all on."

"Of course, Lady Ilka. It is part of the maid's job to take the work of the lady. If I could do it, Princess Alzi would not be doing it unless she wants to do it, like feeding her children. If there is something you know about that I should help with, I am always willing to hear it and take it over or help. Please don't be afraid to let me or my daughter know about the tasks. Or any maid in the house really."

"Good. I'm not sure how this all works, just want to watch over Alzi. We should've helped her a while ago, I'm not going to miss our chance again," Ilka says. "You should go see Mai. She could use your presence."

"But..."

"No, she's got a lot, and you should see your child. If you wish, I'll be sleeping in your bed till you're ready to claim me fully. For now, go help the new Mother. It'll be good for both of you."

"Yes," I say. Was it selfish of me to sleep instead of helping Mai?

"No need to frown. You had every right to sleep and then jump into the bed with me. Don't feel bad doing what you can to survive. I'm only telling you to go to Mai because she needs your company more than me. You did the right thing getting some rest, this has been an eventful day already. Go give the litle baby a kiss for me," Ikla says, sliding off to the side. "And don't be afraid to make us your submissive. We know about it now and we all know it would be the right thing for you to do."

"Just think about. Your Mother and Akhae both agree they would be fine with it. Just think about it, no need to go running out to do it right this second. Just don't be afraid to do what feels natural. You are our better in both mana and standing. We would be honored to become your mate."

Her hand traces over my belly, and with all my skills speeding up my pregnancy, I already have a little bump showing. Her mouth kisses my breasts, then my cheek. "Go."

"Try to keep Mai from getting pregnant again so fast. I know she's a cutie, but she needs some rest."

"I will. I know back to back pregnancies are hard."

"It was the Goddesses. It would've always ended up this way," I say, slithering out of the bed. Should I get dressed? A nightgown should be enough for now. The odds of another accident happening with Mai if I'm naked is a bit too high. And I can't get used to being nude in front of my kids. "Where is Mai?"

"In her room," Aurora says. "This way, your Highness."

We only have to go a few doors away. It's nice to see that they are somewhat trying to keep me near the women I love. I wonder how far the ones I don't care about are. Hopefully, far away so I have plenty of room for the kids and my lovers.

Inside is a simplier version of my room. Much more than Mai had back in the brothel. Next to the bed is a crib with the little girl sleeping inside. She's so cute, her small tail trying to wrap around her body.

"Alzi?" Mai asks, stirring in the bed.

"Yes, sorry for running out on you and not coming back," I say, moving to join her in the bed.

"I heard about what happened. You did what you needed. Your Mother came by for a bit and comforted me for a bit, along with Kelly. You have plenty of wives to help you out. Thank you for coming now."

"I know," I say, pulling her into a hug. "But I still left you moments after you gave birth." I pull her to my breasts and wonder what else I can do.

"A labor that didn't leave me half-dead this time. I had a loving hand helping me through it. I have our kid beside me, and I know you love me. Don't worry, you had no choice but to leave me then. I understand and I'm happy you've come back. Shall we rest till our baby yells? I think we both could use some comforting."
