Dorian picked up the black box and tried to open it, but quickly discovered it had some kind of special electronic lock with an encrypted code.

He sighed and spoke to himself quietly, "The box got caught in the fight and got destroyed in the process."

That was the lie he planned to tell Lena if she randomly asked about the case, especially as he had just decided that he was going to break it open to see what was inside.

Then he paused, and his expression changed as a new idea hit him. "If whatever's in here is really that valuable, then I could get them to pay me ten million instead of five. Yeah, that should be enough money to properly start over with my life."

He set the black box case down on the ground and struck it hard with the side of his fist. The black case cracked and split to the sides, and now inside the broken case was another box; this one was golden in color.

Dorian could feel magical energy radiating from whatever was inside the golden box. It was powerful and nothing like he had felt in a while.

He then opened the golden box, and inside was a gold-colored lamp that looked like something from medieval times. It had an old-fashioned design with curves and a decorative patterns.

"Huh?" Dorian stared at the item with complete shock. "These people are paying me five million dollars to steal a… what the hell do I even call this thing?"

Just then, magical energy started flowing out of the lamp's lid. The magic looked like purple smoke that slowly began taking a more solid form.

As Dorian watched in amazement, the smoke transformed into a feminine-looking creature with gray skin and two horns extending from her forehead. She wore flowing robes and stood nearly seven feet tall.

"What the…?" Dorian started to say, but couldn't finish his sentence. His eyes were wide with shock as he stared at creature that had just appeared before him.

Naturally, as a visor who had fought and killed different mythical creatures, sighting this should have invoked a rather hostile response from Dorian. However, for some unclear reason that wasn't the case right now as he was inbetween surprise and fascination.

The mythical creature looked around her new surroundings for a moment before turning her gaze down toward Dorian.

When she spoke, her voice was eerie, yet had this soothing mix to it. "It seems you have called out to me. By doing so, you have granted me a moment of freedom from that which binds me," she said, pointing at the lamp.

Dorian looked at the lamp she was pointing to, then back at the 7 feet tall monster that could speak, and radiated enough magical power to probably overwhelm him.

The creature continued, "Therefore, I shall grant you any three wishes. Ask any questions or name any desires, and I shall answer or grant them. I can even grant you things that are not in my power to give myself. But I must warn you, complicated questions or wishes will not be granted, and I am not without limits."

This had to be the most insane and unbelievable thing Dorian had ever heard in his entire life, but it was also the very first time he met the djinn, Kiyomi.

The Hotel Room - Present Day

The memories slowly faded away as Dorian and Kiyomi gently pulled apart from a tender kiss they had just shared.

Their faces were still close together when Dorian said, "You would never be just a tool to me, my love," palcing his palm on her cheek.

Kiyomi simply nodded, reassured by the words and the gentleness in his voice.

Dorian then stood up with his facial expression shifting to something more excited. "Now I have to get ready!"

"Get ready for what?" Kiyomi asked.

"Oh, come on, Kiyomi. You're bound to me, and yet you don't know why I need to get ready?" Dorian said with amusement.

Kiyomi chuckled softly. "I like to give some privacy sometimes. I don't always listen to everything in your mind."

"Alright, alright," Dorian said with an amused expression. Then a wicked grin spread across his face as he stretched both arms out to his sides. "Today's the day the old gang gets back together!"

Back at USOV, a meeting was taking place in Director Grey's office. Instead of sitting at his usual desk, Grey had moved to the more comfortable sofa area of his office.

Across from him sat Nacht, the President of the White Hunters, with his Vice President Selene beside him. Both White Hunter leaders had come to the office themselves after seeing Dorian's announcement on the news.

The story had also been trending all across Michigan, and everyone was talking about the return of Grinning Dead.

Nacht had a gloomy expression. What was happening now was the last thing he had ever wanted to see.

"When we left here a few days ago, I had to trust my gut that you would make the right decisions, but…" Nacht began.

"Hold on, President Nacht," Grey said, cutting him off before he could say more. Nacht stopped talking and took a deep breath. It was clear that he was trying very hard to keep his temper under control.

"I'm sorry I had to interrupt you like that, and I know what you're going to say, but something happened," Grey said. He took his own deep breath before delivering the devastating news. "Dorian knows everything."

Nacht stared at Grey with confusion written all over his face. "What do you mean? Everything about what?"

Selene remained silent, simply watching and listening carefully as Grey prepared to explain further.

"He knows about the secret arrangements USOV has with certain visors. He knows the identities of everyone involved. He knows about our main objective against the family leaders. And worse of all, he knows about the Ohio incident involving the Quillfortes," Grey said, laying it all out.

"WHAT?!" Nacht shouted, his eyes wide with shock at what he was hearing. Now even Selene became visibly uncomfortable. Her expression changed to one of serious worry.

She wasn't personally part of these secret arrangements with USOV, but she knew her faction president and some other White Hunter members were involved. This kind of information getting out could mean serious trouble for the faction as a whole.
