CHAPTER 95: MY SON IS A SCUMBAG!

’This girl doesn’t know how to hide her feelings.’

Lucien sighed as unlike her, now he was the one who was being embarrassed here. So, after saying his piece, he immediately left the room intending to lecture this girl a little.

Let her know the ways of the world.

’Is Lucien crazy? How the... what the...’

While Seraphine and Cedric just smiled at their leaving figure with deep meaning in their eyes, Liora was instead stunned on her place.

’How can he... he already has Lilith...’

She almost mumbled aloud her thoughts, finding the whole situation absurd. If she hadn’t seen Lilith with Lucien before, she might just be a little sad right now.

But now she felt so incredible that her head quickly turned to her left as if looking at Lilith’s reaction.

To her astonishment, though, Lilith was also gazing directly at her with a smile. Then, noticing Liora’s surprised expression, she suddenly mouthed something that Liora immediately understood.

’Told you!’

That was the words Lilith said, reminding Liora of what she said all the way during their walk.

’So, she already knows?’

Liora thought after finding Lilith was not so surprised by Sera and Lucien leaving together. But this only made her more conflicted.

’But... why would she? Why would Lucien...’

She felt totally confused. In her opinion, shouldn’t Lilith be angry seeing Lucien with Sera? Just like she got a little angry when she saw her with him?

Wasn’t that a usual reaction a girl should have when they saw a man with another girl?

But Lilith’s normal and even teasing look just made it clear that she wasn’t feeling like that at all.

Even, Didn’t that make her feelings of betrayal and anger from before more laughable?

’That bastard!’

Liora was so confused and irritated that she directly cursed Lucien in her mind. Her face, already down, became even more solemn.

She really wasn’t good at dealing with feelings. So, all the grievances she felt during this time, she directly poured into Lucien.

’I will never give him the Baptism Stone.’

She declared as if it was Lucien looking forward to her gift even though she knew Lucien never knew her motives.

But when did a girl in anger become reasonable?

All the events today made her mood so down, that she could no longer take it.

Her anger towards Lucien, and more importantly her own feelings that couldn’t be put away even after seeing Lucien like this, made her mad.

So, without realizing, Liora suddenly stood up from her seat garnering all three members’ attention in the room.

"Liora?"

Seraphine asked, seeing Liora’s fuming look, totally confused. She was just thinking about Lilith and Sera and completely forgot it was this girl who dragged her here to meet Lucien.

"Umm, aunty, I have something to do. I will leave first. Thank you for everything."

When Liora heard the voice, she finally came back to her senses and quickly bowed to both of Lucien’s parents.

Then, without waiting for their reply, she directly left the room as she wasn’t in the mood to share pleasantries anymore.

’Let’s go to the Golden City directly. I have enough coin to shop the things I want. Let that bastard play with his girls, I don’t care.’

She thought in anger, deciding to directly leave and enter the Sylvan Depths. Her feelings were now all jumbled up with no idea how to vent.

So, she decided to cool off in the Golden City, that would soon disappear.

She couldn’t let this chance go, could she? Otherwise, she might have to wait for 5 years to enter it again. At least she thought so.

"What happened to her? Didn’t you say she dragged you here? Why is she leaving early?"

Cedric asked, seeing Liora disappearing outside. Why did he feel that Liora was in a bad mood all of a sudden?

’Sigh! What a mess!’

Unlike Cedric though, Seraphine was a woman and could understand a girl’s feelings clearly.

Precisely because of that, she couldn’t help but sigh as she suddenly realized that the little girl of a count seemed to have feelings for her son, Lucien.

To be honest, even she never knew this before. Otherwise, how could she let her leave like this?

’But now!’

Seraphine looked at Lilith who was calmly sipping the tea as if the departure of Liora didn’t bother her.

Then thought of Sera who just went out with Lucien with an excited look.

After analyzing everything clearly, she finally came to a conclusion that was so absurd yet so explaining the situation here that she couldn’t help but mumble in a low voice,

"Damn! My son is a scumbag!"

Her voice was filled with frustration but also tinged with an undeniable proudness. Only, even though her voice was low enough, it was a small room after all.

How could Cedric and Lilith not hear her?

"What did you say?"

While Cedric asked, doubting the words he heard, Lilith on the other hand suddenly couldn’t stop her laugh, causing her to choke on the tea she was sipping,

"Cough... cough... sorry."

She couldn’t help but giggle uncontrollably at Seraphine’s words, pouring tea out of her mouth onto the tray, destroying her elegance in the process.

But, she couldn’t stop herself as she never thought Lucien’s mom would be the first one to label him as a scumbag.

’If he knows, won’t he be surprised? Haha...’

Lilith couldn’t stop laughing continuously, making Seraphine look awkward.

She already realized her blunder, but it was too late. So, she just came to Lilith, tapped her back and said lightly,

"Okay, stop. Don’t laugh too much. I was just joking, okay? Joking."

Seraphine said to Lilith, then suddenly came near her ears stealthily and whispered,

"Don’t tell him I said this, okay? You can think of it as a secret between us. Drink water instead."

She said in distress, trying to stop her blunder from getting into Lucien’s ears.

After all, she couldn’t allow Lucien to have the impression that his mother talked badly about him behind his back, could she?
