Xuanwu paused for a moment, then realized the meaning behind Qin Yi’s words, and immediately shouted angrily, "You kid, are you saying I’m talking nonsense?"

"I didn’t say that, it’s your own words." Qin Yi looked innocent, distancing himself from the accusation completely.

Xuanwu rolled his eyes, "You sharp-tongued brat, I knew you couldn’t speak anything good. How did you escape?"

"Of course, with my profound cultivation and smart brains..."

"Cut the crap and just say it quickly." Xuanwu interrupted Qin Yi disdainfully, knowing he was about to brag again.

Qin Yi pouted, "I’ll explain once we get back. I bet Xiahou Jun and the others will ask too, so I’ll tell all of you at once. Saves me from saying it twice."

"Ugh, it’s not like anyone cares," Xuanwu retorted with disdain, turning to fly towards Xuanwu Mountain.

Qin Yi shrugged his shoulders and followed.

A few hours later, the two landed on Xuanwu Mountain.

"Old man Xuanwu, your Xuanwu Mountain has never been so lively, has it?"

Old people generally liked peace and quiet, and seeing hundreds of people like Xiahou Jun and others among the crowd, Xuanwu was probably quite irritated.

Indeed, Xuanwu frowned impatiently, "Since you’re back, take them away after eating."

"Qin Yi?"

Xiahou Jun and the others were worrying about Qin Yi’s safety, and just after arriving, Qin Yi showed up right behind them. Everyone looked at the descending Qin Yi in astonishment, and they all stepped forward.

"When did you arrive?" Qin Yi casually asked, guessing that Xiahou Jun and the others hadn’t arrived long, or else Xuanwu wouldn’t have just gone to save him.

Xiahou Jun said, "We only arrived a few hours before you. We’re relieved now that we see you’re okay."

"After we arrived, we asked Senior Xuanwu to rescue you, but we didn’t expect you to return so quickly," Wu Zhao exclaimed, excitedly.

Qin Yi had tricked Sha Ming and his group to buy time for their escape but ended up in danger himself, making them worry greatly.

Qin Yi rolled his eyes, "If I relied on you to report back and save me, Sha Ming would’ve chopped me into pieces long ago."

Xiahou Jun looked ashamed, "It’s our lack of skill and our slow pace, we sincerely apologize."

"Qin Yi brother, have some water." Sheng Tianlei handed Qin Yi a bowl of water.

Qin Yi took it, chuckled, and ruffled Sheng Tianlei’s hair, "Tianlei is the most sensible one."

Sheng Tianlei laughed innocently.

"Qin Yi, how did you escape from those old dogs of the Sha Family?"

Xiahou Jun asked curiously, knowing the five old dogs’ cultivation was unfathomable, and they couldn’t stand the aura alone.

Qin Yi expected them to ask this, thankfully he hadn’t told Xuanwu yet, or he would’ve wasted breath repeating himself. He walked over and sat on a wooden stump, proudly saying, "Hold on tight, perk up your ears, for I’m about to tell you, not blow my own horn, how it all happened."

Qin Yi recounted the whole story, adding embellishments.

Everyone was dumbfounded, with faces full of bewilderment.

"Fought against the Sha Family Five Tigers?"

In Qin Yi’s moment of glory, Xuanwu uncooperatively voiced his doubt.

Qin Yi raised his head, proudly, "What’s the problem?"

"Whether it was a head-on clash or a strategical move, I killed three of them and returned safely to Longxia. Who else in the world can achieve this?"

Once this matter spreads, it will cause a storm. Qi Refiners from various nations will undoubtedly be furious, so be careful in the coming days."

Qin Yi boldly declared, "If I dared to do it, I’m not afraid of the world knowing. I want those tiny countries to understand the consequence of offending Longxia."

"Though what you said is true, your battle did indeed enhance our national prestige, bear in mind a tall tree catches the wind. After this incident, you’ll surely be feared by Qi Refiners from various nations. Though the younger generation has none who can rival you, be cautious of the older generation."

"They dare to come to Longxia to assassinate me? I slaughtered them on their own turf; why would I fear them in mine?" Xiahou Jun awkwardly chuckled, "I just thought what you said was amazing. We, as Qi Refiners, should be as Qin brother is, viewing the world with disdain, proudly as the sky itself."
