It seemed the thunder temporarily spared Qin Yi, giving him the chance to heal.

However, the thunder did not stop, continuously crashing down, the violent lightning destroying everything. Those terrifying vicious birds and beasts became nothing under the lightning, exploding one after another.

The entire dense forest was riddled with holes by the thunder, the air thick with the scent of blood. Vast areas of ground were stained red by the blood of those vicious birds and beasts.

A dull roar, as loud as a thunder shock, jarred Qin Yi’s head and made his vision blur.

He leaped onto an ancient tree nearby, looking around to see a giant ape fiercely hammering its chest, roaring at the lightning surging in the sky.

He had seen this giant ape before; it was the one that smashed the Green Scale Eagle to the ground with a single punch, indirectly saving him as well.

Boom!

The violent lightning poured down like Tianhe, instantly engulfing the giant ape.

Qin Yi’s heart pounded uncontrollably. Could the giant ape withstand this violent thunder?

Roar!

A dull roar shook the heavens and the earth, causing the ground to tremble endlessly.

The giant ape was still alive, actually resisting the thunder.

The giant ape had knocked down the Golden Claw Green Scale Eagle, essentially his lifesaver. He couldn’t stand by and watch it die here without doing anything.

The sky was pitch black; without the lightning, there was no light in the world. It was impossible to find the source of the thunder; though the giant ape was powerful, it could only passively endure.

However, Qin Yi’s shout was drowned out by the roar of the thunder, as violent as a waterfall crashing down.

Qin Yi watched helplessly as the massive body, as huge as a mountain, was torn apart by the thunder, with bright red blood splattering hundreds of meters, like a great mountain collapsing, flesh and blood flying everywhere.

Qin Yi gritted his teeth; this thunder was utterly unstoppable, even that terrifying giant ape couldn’t withstand the Thunder Power.

Hiss!

A flash above Qin Yi’s head, the sky seemed split open by a sword, a violent thunder directly crashing down on him.

Damn, does this thunder have a locking function? It seemed that his voice alerting the giant ape startled the thunder.

"Awooo~"

Just as Qin Yi was about to dodge, a little growl came from below his feet, not loud, not fierce, rather soft and cuddly.

Qin Yi looked down sharply and was stunned. It was... a lamb, or perhaps a little puppy?

This little creature was about the size of a small lamb, entirely snow white without a bit of mixed hair, and had a bump on its head as if someone had hit it with a brick, looking indescribably cute.

Hearing the sound, Qin Yi looked down to see the little thing was now softly howling at him.

Qin Yi held it in his hands, examining carefully. It looked like a lamb, sounded like a puppy, had ears like a rabbit, and a tail like a lion.

"What are you? Why do you look like such a mutt?" Qin Yi murmured, searching the knowledge Eye of Righteous and Evil had given him but couldn’t identify what this little creature was.

"Awooo~"

The little one struggled in Qin Yi’s hands, pretending to be very fierce.

Qin Yi chuckled, "You’re so small and weak, yet you dare to come to such a dangerous place, truly a newborn calf unafraid of the tiger. You must have accidentally stumbled in? I guess you’re alive because those vicious birds and beasts found you too small, not even enough to fill their teeth."

"You’re lucky you ran into me, or else you’d be blasted to smithereens by the thunder."

The little creature struggled in Qin Yi’s hands, only capable of making soft howling sounds.

Qin Yi stroked its fur, finding it as smooth as silk, and couldn’t help but laugh, "Did you use some shampoo on your fur?"

"Blood Flood Dragon, do you know what this animal is?"

"Master, from my observation, it seems to be a hybrid of a sheep, rabbit, lion, and dog."

"Master, this little one hasn’t been born long; could it be mistaking you for its parent?" Blood Flood Dragon seriously suggested while flying back.

Qin Yi turned and kicked Blood Flood Dragon away again.

What a lunatic thought, this little thing is an animal, he is a human, how could there be such a mistake?

Qin Yi turned to prepare to fly away, only to find his pant leg tightened. He looked down to see the little one biting his pants.

Qin Yi bent down to pick up the little creature, unfolded his Fire Wings, flapping them as he transformed into a Purple Light, darting madly through the ancient trees.

The thunder roared on, ceaselessly striking the ground, as if determined to turn the entire forest into ash. Those terrible vicious birds and beasts howled in anguish, being mercilessly torn apart by the thunder.

Qin Yi felt a chill in his heart, madly running forward.

After more than an hour, Qin Yi suddenly saw a burst of light, the sudden brightness made him momentarily dazzled by the Purple Light.

Once he recovered, he looked around and found himself out, the sun hung high above.

Strange, previously he had also tried to escape, but the forest was like a maze, circling back to the same point. This time, by sheer luck, he had left that hellish forest.

Below was an endless forest.
