Luke, after all, was here for the first time. As he walked, he turned towards the back door of the building.

He exited through the back door to the backyard parking lot he had seen earlier through the iron fence, where there were many vehicles, including those with FBI logos as well as regular cars.

Luke walked around the parking lot, stopped beside a black Citroen sedan, stared at the license plate for a while, and touched it with his finger, finding some magnetized iron filings.

Luke wiped his hand across the rear of the car and turned to leave.

He found his own car, greeted old Shaq, and drove away.

Inside the office on the seventh floor of the FBI New York office, Negan Thomas stood by the window, holding a phone in his right hand, and made a call, "Hello."

"How did the date go?" Anthony's voice sounded on the phone.

"Fuck! What's that weird tone?" Negan Thomas snorted, "There were some minor issues."

"Didn't you have a pleasant talk?"

"The talk was fine, but he probably knows he was being followed by our people."

Anthony chuckled, "I told you, his detective skills are impressive, otherwise, I wouldn't have recommended him to you."

"If you think so highly of him, why not let him join the Los Angeles office?"

"This kid is very capable and climbing fast; if I mess up someday, he might take over.

I am not looking to find myself a successor now or give the higher-ups any unnecessary ideas.

But it's different for you; he poses no threat to you.

And he's a good person; you might try to get along with him more."

Negan Thomas was somewhat helpless, "Can't you avoid getting into trouble?"

"What fun would that be?"

...

Jimanxiang Restaurant.

A closed sign hung at the entrance.

A little past eight in the evening.

Li Zhaofeng had already taken Jack home.

Li Zhaonian and his wife sat in the restaurant, not in the mood to entertain guests.

The couple hadn't eaten all day, silent and having already said what needed to be said, asked whom they could, and searched everywhere they could.

They were really at a loss.

Li Zhaonian's only hope was that Luke could bring back news of their son.

It would be best if he could bring their son back with him.

"Da da..."

Footsteps came from outside.

Li Zhaonian looked up and saw three young Asian men entering the restaurant, led by Blue Hair Brother, Zhang Qilong's subordinate.

Li Zhaonian stood up, showing a flustered expression, "What do you want?"

The blue-haired man displayed a fierce demeanor, kicking over a nearby chair, "Where's your son? Tell him to come out."

"What do you want with him?"

The blue-haired man pointed at Li Zhaonian's nose and cursed, "That bastard killed our boss Dragon Brother, make him come out."

The two lackeys shouted beside him,

"Just tell the little bastard to come out."

"We'll fuck him up."

Li Zhaonian stepped back two steps, "There must be some mistake, my son couldn't possibly kill anyone, you must be mistaken."

Blue Hair kicked over another table, cursing, "Don't push your luck, hurry up and say where he is?"

Yao Xin, with red eyes, angrily said, "We already told you we don't know.

Get out of the restaurant now, or I'm calling the police."

"Call the damn cops..." The blue-haired man swung his hand to slap Yao Xin, Li Zhaonian hurriedly blocked in front.

With a "slap," this slap landed on Li Zhaonian's face.

Li Zhaonian was both shocked and angry, clenched his fist but did not dare to resist, pulling his wife into the kitchen.

"Fuck you, you disrespect me, smash it, don't let me see anything intact!" The blue-haired man waved his hand and led the two lackeys to smash things in the restaurant.

Li Zhaonian stood at the kitchen door, with his right hand hidden behind, neither stopping them, just coldly watching.

"Hey, what are you guys doing?"

Suddenly, a tall black-haired man walked into the restaurant.

The three thugs turned and looked, unfriendly expressions on their faces.

Li Zhaonian reminded, "Luke, they are Zhang Qilong's men, said they're looking for Will, came in and started hitting people and smashing the place."

The blue-haired man rolled up his sleeves, revealing the tattoo on his arm, picked up a chair leg from the ground, "This has nothing to do with you, don't play hero."

Luke smiled and said, "Guys, we all live in Chinatown, we're neighbors, we see each other every day, what's the point?

If you ask me, let's call it a day.

Just give me a little face."

"Haha..."

The blue-haired man and his lackeys laughed.

"Pfft..." The blue-haired man spat, "I'm giving you face.

If you don't get lost, you'll get beaten too."

Upon hearing this, Luke sighed softly and turned toward the restaurant door.

A pockmarked lackey mocked, "Look at yourself, thinking you're a big shot here."

The blue-haired man sneered and pointed at Li Zhaonian and his wife with a table leg, "Hurry up and call that brat back, or no one can help you."

With a "whoosh," the rolling shutter door was pulled down.

The blue-haired man pointed at Luke, cursed, "You're looking for death?"

"Such a lively party, I can't bear to leave." Luke stretched lazily, feeling cooped up these past couple of days, finally able to loosen up a bit.
