Love Symphony: Let Your Heart Beat for Me
Chapter 17 -006 Destined_2
CHAPTER 17: CHAPTER006 DESTINED_2
Qin Mu swallowed her food and went along with the elderly couple’s intent: "Just keep it, sis. You didn’t come back during the summer break, and we didn’t celebrate your birthday. It’s perfect for you to buy yourself a couple of new outfits with the money." He leaned over to Su Wan and whispered with a mischievous grin, "And maybe you can grab a couple of new outfits for me too, hahaha..."
Seeing Qin Mu’s face full of a sly grin, Su Yue knew exactly what she was up to and promptly gave her a playful flick on the forehead: "It’s a birthday gift for your sister, why are you meddling!"
Qin Mu scrunched her nose at her mom and went back to devouring her meal.
Persuaded in this manner, Su Wan momentarily didn’t know what to say, so she decided to accept the bank card first. She planned to return it to her aunt when she went out with Qin Mu the next day.
Tasked by her mom to accompany Su Wan on her shopping trip the next morning, Qin Mu was so excited. After dinner, she watched some TV before eagerly dragging Su Wan back to their room for an early sleep.
The next day, the two got up very early. Still, due to Qin Mu’s severe procrastination, they didn’t leave until it was leisurely reaching ten o’clock.
Girls love to dress up, and Su Wan is no exception. And there’s no need to even mention Qin Mu. When they arrived at the mall, she was like a wild horse unleashed, dragging Su Wan all over, not even tiring a bit.
Now, Su Wan was sitting inside a brand-name clothing store, waiting for Qin Mu to come out of the fitting room. The result of Su Wan’s two-hour battle was a fresh and elegant wool sweater dress and... a pair of high heels that Qin Mu deemed low-key luxurious, perfectly suiting her style. As for Qin Mu, except for a pair of house slippers... she didn’t buy anything else...
After much anticipation, Qin Mu finally emerged from the fitting room, still dissatisfied. She stomped her feet in frustration and decided to stop shopping, pulling Su Wan along to get some lunch.
Fate works in mysterious ways. Su Wan absolutely didn’t expect that in Yi City, 228.6 kilometers away from Yanchuan, with an area of 1789 square kilometers and a population of over 2.7 million, she could run into Fu Weiheng...
This is how it happened.
After smoothly finishing lunch with Qin Mu, Su Wan suddenly remembered she had to change her violin strings and had already used up all spares in the dormitory, so they hailed a cab to a long-established music store on Pinghe Road.
The shop was spacious, about a hundred and fifty square meters. In the center stood an expensive, beautiful Steinberg grand piano, while exquisite violins and violas were neatly displayed on the shelves on either side. Next to them was a small room separated by transparent glass, containing cellos and double basses arranged in proportional order from small to large.
After a quick glance around, Su Wan walked to the innermost workstation. The shop owner was still the white-bearded, spirited old man.
"Grandpa Weng," Su Wan called out as she approached the counter.
The old man was diligently carving a violin head. Hearing someone call, he looked up from behind his reading glasses, "Oh, young lady, you’re here."
Su Wan smiled, "Grandpa Weng, how have you been lately?"
The old man continued with his task and replied, "At this age, what’s there to say about well-being. But you, young lady, I haven’t seen you for a year, and you’ve become even prettier." He craned his neck to look at Qin Mu, who cherished a violin fondly, and asked with a smile, "Brought a friend to look at violins?"
Su Wan said, "I’m here to buy violin strings."
"Which kind do you need?" Grandpa Weng took off his reading glasses, placed the unfinished violin on the wooden rack, and asked.
"The Larsen AD strings and the Thomas Tique GC strings."
"Alright, wait a moment, I’ll get them for you."
While the old man searched for the strings, Su Wan glanced around and noticed a violin with a bright orange glow standing upright on the mahogany shelf inside. Her heart stirred, and she felt a longing to touch it.
Just then, the wind chimes outside jingled as someone pushed the door open. Qin Mu peeked out curiously, then ran to Su Wan excitedly, whispering in her ear, "Sis! Sis! Sis! A handsome guy, a super handsome guy, an extremely handsome guy, sis!"
Su Wan: "..."
And then she saw a familiar figure approaching her.
He wore a long military-green jacket. Dark casual pants hugged his long legs, giving him a cool and calm appearance.
Running into Su Wan here, Fu Weiheng was also quite surprised, feeling a slight pause in his heart, yet his face remained unruffled.
Su Wan’s heart inexplicably raced. Seeing that Fu Weiheng was walking straight over without any intention of greeting her, she felt a bit miffed, so she simply turned her head, ignoring him, and continued admiring the beautiful violin.
