CHAPTER 57: CHAPTER 22 HIDDEN DEPTHS_2
Yao Ye: "Wanwan, I’m going to the library."
Xu Chengyang: "I’m off to practice piano, make sure to go on your date, don’t forget our front-row seats.
Su Wan smiled, pressed the lock screen, and was about to freshen up when the screen flashed again. It was a WeChat message from Xu Chengyang in a private chat.
Fu’s Little Chengyang: "Wanwan, hurry up and check the post I put in Moments this morning! (◐‿◑)"
Xu Chengyang has always been carefree, so his Moments are naturally filled with random stuff.
Either bumping into some handsome guy here and there, or teasing some good-looking dude.
Su Wan was used to it. With a toothbrush in her mouth, she went to check Moments.
As a result, she almost dropped the toothbrush from her mouth in shock.
Fu’s Little Chengyang: Hoping Wan Beauty successfully seduces her man into getting two front-row seats, happy (^O^) kiss kiss kiss |( ̄3 ̄)|
The comments below were as long as a dragon:
Old Captain: Oh boy! Our orchestral department’s flower has a boyfriend?
Pagnana: Oh boy! Our orchestral department’s flower has a boyfriend?
Refuse to Play Chopin: Oh boy! Our orchestral department’s flower has a boyfriend?
Wangzai Xiaocaitou: Am I the only one who wants to know who her boyfriend is!
Mendel Jin: Xiaocaitou upstairs, you’re breaking the formation. By the way, I also want to know who her boyfriend is!
It’s Yao Ye Not Sway: I’m late to the party! I hope the orchestral department’s flower gets it smoothly! Wanwan, I love you!
Mozart’s little brother: ...I’m actually heartbroken.
Miaomiaomiao: Just asking timidly, is it Gu Ming...
Da Zhiyang: Asking timidly again, what are the front-row seats for!
Fu’s Little Chengyang replies to Miaomiaomiao: She left Gu Ming miles behind!
Miaomiaomiao replies to Fu’s Little Chengyang: Ah ah ah, wanna see!
...
Most unexpectedly, among these comments, she actually saw the shadow of Fu Weiheng!
Neil: Eagerly awaiting.
Fu’s Little Chengyang replies to Neil: Remember to go easy on Wanwan, God. \(//∇//)\
Poof——
The mouthwash sprayed out, splattering the dressing mirror, blurring the pretty face in the reflection. Su Wan’s ears burned, so she decided not to see it and put down the phone to continue brushing her teeth.
She absolutely had to have a talk with Xu Chengyang!
By the time she got to the bookstore, it was just a little past ten. After browsing through the varied books, Su Wan finally set her eyes on a book placed on the side, "History of Western Aesthetics," and was about to reach for it when a fair and delicate hand got there first.
She instinctively turned her head to look, and there stood a short-haired girl next to her, with delicate eyebrows, fair skin, and a large black down jacket that covered her petite frame like a little witch’s cloak, making her look even more petite.
The girl casually flipped through the "History of Western Aesthetics" in her hand. Seeing Su Wan staring at her intently, she was slightly dazed, realized something, blushed to the tips of her ears, and silently handed the book to Su Wan.
Su Wan was a bit surprised at her embarrassed expression, smiled a little, and pushed the book back: "You can read it."
The girl instantly beamed with joy, hugging the book and bowing several times to her silently before sitting aside to read.
Su Wan picked another new one, seeing there was still plenty of time, and went to the cafe inside the store to buy a cup of coffee, planning to pass the time there.
Since it was the weekend, there were twice as many people in the bookstore compared to usual. The cafe was already full, the place bustling and noisy, making it hard for her to focus on reading.
After observing for a while, Su Wan finally took her coffee out of the cafe.
Once seated on a high stool under the bookshelf, she noticed a certain man across from her, with a baseball cap, acting suspiciously.
Su Wan cautiously took a couple more glances.
Sure enough, that man in the baseball cap was standing next to a girl, turned sideways from her, with one hand already in the backpack beside her.
The people around, with their backs turned, were completely unaware something was off. Su Wan was shocked inside but kept a calm exterior. As the man hadn’t noticed her, she picked up her coffee, stood up, and walked slowly to the other side of the girl, feigning nonchalance as she called out, "There you are? I’ve been looking for you."
The thief, startled by the clear voice, immediately retracted his hand from the backpack, adjusted his cap, and then walked into the store, pretending nothing happened.
The person engrossed in the book lifted her head at the sound. The familiar face made Su Wan pause in surprise.
