    Landon kissed her gently on the forehead. “Get some sleep. Tomorrow will be busy.”

    He carried her to the bed andy on the outside, letting her curl into him like a human pillow.

    Tessa nestled against his chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. The tension that had knotted inside her began to ease.
