Love You Till the End

CHAPTER 432: CHAPTER 432: WILL THE BOSS FALL FOR HER?
He smirked wickedly, pinched her chin, leaned in for a kiss, then pulled away and asked her, "Tired?"
Shen Cheng wrapped her hands around his neck and nodded.
"Hmm, if you’re tired, go back to your room and sleep."
Shi Yu said, promptly lifted her up horizontally, stood up and strode out of the study.
The night wind blew, curling the dark patterned curtains.
The two on the large bed clung tightly together, inseparable.
Come the workday, Shen Cheng woke up a bit earlier than usual.
She opened her eyes, but Shi Yu’s figure was already gone from her side.
Lying there for half a minute, she got out of bed.
Standing in front of the wardrobe, she hesitated for a long time, finally picking out a specific style from a selection of suits.
Once dressed, there was no tightness around her abdomen, perfectly concealing her not so obvious belly.
She seemed like a natural clothes hanger, unfussy about attire.
Even in a suit, her charm was unavoidable, adding a mature beauty to her.
Just stepping into the company, Shen Cheng clearly felt the glances from people around her, both intentional and otherwise.
Scorching, as if trying to burn her.
But she couldn’t be bothered to look back, just walked forward with bold strides, like a proud and stunningly beautiful creature.
A group of male employees behind her craned their necks, staring at her intently.
"Hey, look, isn’t that the beauty who passed the interview yesterday?"
"It must be her, she’s really pretty."
"If she wasn’t beautiful, could she be a secretary? The secretary is the face of the company, always following the boss around."
A bunch of people whispered among themselves upon seeing Shen Cheng, each filled with curiosity about her.
A few female colleagues who entered the company with her didn’t say much, but their gazes inadvertently settled firmly on Shen Cheng, as if they wanted to see right through her.
"She is pretty... Do you think the boss might fancy her?"
"Tsk tsk tsk, don’t spout nonsense, the boss is everyone’s!"
"Exactly, exactly!"
"That secretary might just be a nepotism hire; her family has some money, so they sent her here for a title."
"It must be like that..."
No one could figure out the relationship between Shi Yu and Shen Cheng, so all they could do was speculate wildly.
After reporting in, the HR department had Shen Cheng fingerprinted and card-punched, then took her to her office.
In the spacious CEO’s office, as expected, there was a separate secretary’s office.
In between, a transparent glass wall served as a boundary, with a door as well.
On the desk in the secretary’s office, a symbolic stack of papers was placed, with no computer or printer-copier.
Originally, these two items were available, but Shi Yu had them removed, claiming, "I don’t like radiation in my office."
The HR manager lamented internally, "Boss, if you don’t like the radiation from printers, you could have set up the secretary’s office elsewhere."
Shen Cheng was led into the office, and the affable manager told her, "Secretary Shen, wait here for a while. Once the boss arrives, he will arrange your work."
Shen Cheng nodded, and the manager left, closing the door behind him.
Shi Yu hadn’t arrived yet; out of boredom, she flipped through the documents on the desk.
A few minutes later, she took out her phone and started playing with it.
She had barely taken out her phone when it was snatched away by someone: "During work hours, playing with phones is not allowed."
"..."
This was clearly an abuse of power for personal reasons!
Shen Cheng looked up at the man who just arrived, dressed in a suit, bewitchingly handsome and radiating splendor.
Shi Yu took her phone, went back to the desk, sat down, casually placed the phone in a drawer, picked up a document to read, and without even lifting his head said, "Why are you here so early."
