CHAPTER 293: NEGOTIATIONS

Just as she was in a daze, a phone call came in.

Dominic. Bella hesitated for a moment before answering, laughing sarcastically, "The hospital is too careless. They should have turned off the lights by this time."

"There’s no need for such formality between husband and wife. Waller warned me. Those methods we used before can no longer be used between us."

"Methods used before??"

Bella smiled gently and said, "You mean the dirty tactics where I colluded from the inside to have my eldest brother and younger brother sent to prison, and then cooperated with you to have your second and third brothers imprisoned as well, right?"

"Correct!"

Dominic did not deny it at all.

The Taiga family and the Leon family were not considered top tier wealthy families. They were essentially family businesses. On the Leon family side, Bella resented her father and her brother who used her as a bargaining chip.

"Phase three of City Center Garden includes over twenty existing villas, a clubhouse, a kindergarten, and a supporting vegetable market. The profits are good, mainly because transferring it all yields pure cash."

Bella recounted knowledgeably, "I know 12% is a bit low. I’ll acquire a bit more soon, raising it to 15%."

"Dream on!"

The split of Tiger Real Estate essentially means separating the assets of the Taiga and Leon families, then dividing the projects that emerged from their cooperation, such as City Center Garden.

Other areas are manageable, but City Center Garden is a protected virgin piece of land. Other projects might also be profitable but are slow and steady, whereas that particular project is a quick way to cash out as soon as it’s transferred.

Bella said lightly, "I’m like you. I’ve exhausted my efforts for the benefits. Asking me to settle based on the normal stock price makes you and me both look like idiots."

Dominic said through gritted teeth, "I warn you, President Ye truly won’t interfere much, but Waller must give him a qualified answer. Delaying is unfavorable for both you and me."

"We’ll see then!"

After hanging up, Nina cautiously spoke, "Master, you said that here, Dominic has always..."

"Always been the strongest local power. Not just now, even if my elder brother and the others were here, we’d still have to accept the losses we deserve."

Bella narrowed her eyes, unable to conceal her anger, and said, "But with that Waller saying such things, our alliance has broken. When it comes to calculating profits, indeed no one can be trusted."
