CHAPTER 294: SPECULATION

This video had no audio, capturing precisely the moment Sebastian Ye and Waller were speaking, but reading their lips proved exceptionally clear.

Nina naturally understood this technique as well. After a glance, she said, "His surname is Luis, but his bloodline carries the name Ye..."

Bella’s expression shifted. She said, "Correct. I obtained this intelligence, and Dominic received it too."

"What makes us most suspicious is that Waller personally issued an order forbidding anyone from harassing him. This clearly isn’t some perfunctory act like a godfather, which Coco supposedly found out."

"It’s not strange for a falling out to happen now. Logically speaking, Dominic and I should have squeezed out the other shareholders first. Ah..." Bella’s mood was low. She walked to the liquor cabinet, poured a glass of whiskey with ice, and began drinking.

It wasn’t red wine, but whiskey with ice cubes. Nina was slightly startled. She knew unless her master was extremely troubled, she detested hard liquor.

"Dominic called me for no reason other than intimidation. It’s very simple."

"I truly cannot contend with him. Waller has already given the order. No one is permitted to harass that security guard."

After saying this, Bella could no longer control her emotions. She abruptly grabbed the glass and hurled it aside.

The glass shattered into pieces, liquor and ice scattering across the floor. Bella, supporting herself on the table with both hands, breathed rapidly, muttering curses, "That bastard, he’s just mocking me."

"If things were fair before, but if they were to find out that I sent that bastard to the hospital..."

"The balance would completely tip in his favor. Dominic would definitely bring this up indirectly. His call was precisely to make me yield."

"Damn it."

Bella’s emotions were always volatile. She smashed things in a furious rage, utterly incensed.

Inherently, she was no match for the deeply entrenched Dominic. Now, with this matter as leverage, her position was even more passive.

The worst part was, the fact that she injured him shouldn’t even reach President Ye’s ears. Just Waller finding out would be enough to make her pay dearly and force her to give President Ye an explanation.

Nina did not evade, merely watching quietly. Then, somewhat puzzled, she added, "Master, misunderstandings can be resolved."

"Hmph, that guy was hired casually, seems like a slacker, completely unremarkable no matter how you look at him, right."

Bella gradually calmed, panting heavily, her chest heaving violently. She said with great displeasure, "His connection to the Sebastian Family is already laid out on the table."

"Our investigation findings are utterly useless. Is he a poor man? If he doesn’t need to lower his head and merely needs to accept, then wealth and luxury would be exceedingly simple for him."

"All the money he’s been spending lately is likely inextricably linked to the Sebastian Family."

Bella also began smashing things hysterically, shouting angrily, "That bastard Dominic, he’s only mocking me because he holds this certainty."

"Neither of us approaches him, but I have already offended him."

Bella forced herself to calm down. She breathed lightly, lost in thought for a long while. Nina stood by, not daring to speak.

Suddenly, Bella reached out and stroked Nina’s lovely face, asking, "Darling, if you were to seduce him, how confident are you?"

"There cannot be any man I am incapable of seducing."

Nina stated confidently, then added with a hint of pain, "Master, if it is your command, I would even die for it. But do you believe this method would be effective?"

Hearing this, Bella fell completely silent.

Yes, that bastard is actually the illegitimate son of the Sebastian Family’s current head.

Yet he became a security guard early on, became a live-in son-in-law, able to endure any hardship. He appears gentle and honest, but is absolutely a person of resilience.

Where did her confidence come from, to think she could buy him off? With the Sebastian Family’s casual support, or even just Waller’s backing, he would already be standing above others.

"Any order from my master, I will obey."

Nina said with a devout expression.

While the two were speaking, suddenly a glass was thrown over. The sound of it shattering on the marble floor startled them both.

Rococo stood at the stair landing, watching everything with a cold gaze, and laughed, "How utterly fascinating. Sister Nina is Mother’s favorite, and you actually sent her to seduce a man."

Bella took a deep breath and said, "Coco, we have been forced into a corner."

Rococo’s expression was stern and dark as she said, "Sister Lily has been so good to me. I will not permit you to destroy her family."

"Coco, stop this nonsense."

Bella shouted angrily.

"You are the ones being ridiculous."

Rococo said with a mocking expression, "Mother, is this your renowned intellect? Is this your brilliant strategy?"

After speaking, she revealed a look of disappointment and contempt, snorted, and returned to her room.

"This child."

Bella was absolutely furious. Nina quickly held her back, soothing softly, "Master, Coco is just being childish. Right now, you have more important matters to consider. Please don’t stoop to her level."

Compared to her birth mother, Nina now served as Bella’s personal assistant and secretary. But, being highly educated and of noble birth herself, she had previously been Rococo’s tutor.

Music, dance, academics—it could be said she had spent more time with Rococo than Bella had.

"Right."

Bella made herself calm down, collapsed onto the sofa, and continued drinking her whiskey, rather like someone drowning their sorrows in alcohol.
