He stayed in the bath for some minutes before he walked out, the maid was still on the ground, a smile plastered on her face as she looked at Ethan, who was looking at her.

"I need clothes," Ethan spoke, and the maid sat up.

She quickly got on her feet, picking up he clothes and putting them on immediately, then she exited the bathroom, running through the hall.

Ethan picked up the old clothes after cleaning his body and also exited the bathroom wearing only an undergarment.

He walked back to his room, and the door was opened for him by another maid standing in front of the door, and Ethan walked in.

Ethan set the clothes on the bed as he knew the maid would take them away, then he lay on the other side of the bed.

The door opened, and Ethan turned towards the door, expecting to see the maid, but Maria entered the room.

Ethan quickly stood up from the bed. He was still in his underwear, but he stood up nonetheless. It was Maria in front of him after all.

"So you want to leave the palace? There are plenty of places that need males, so you'll be doing everyone a favor by going somewhere. Also, you don't get to make the choice," Maria spoke.

A smile formed on Ethan's face as both of them heard a knock on the door and the door was pushed open.

The maid quickly bowed her head as she saw Miss Maria, before placing clean clothes on Ethan's bed, retrieving the dirty ones, and leaving the room.

"When do I leave, and how do I get there?" Ethan asked.

"You'll return to the academy, where you'll be teleported to the village, and you can leave now if you want. The Queen already gave her permission since the princess is pregnant," Maria replied.

"Really, then take me with you... You're going to the palace, right? I just need to get dressed and tell Anna," Ethan spoke.

"I'm not heading to the academy, but when you're ready a carriage would be outside to pick you up, you know I've never seen someone as eager as you, I know you want to get stronger, but you'll get there eventually...also what's that I heard about a summon of yours, I almost forgot to ask" Maria spoke.

"Come forth, Varek the undying," Ethan spoke as he placed his hands on the ground, and a magic circle appeared in front of him.

A smile appeared on Maria's face as she stared at it. She moved around, and Varek's head followed her as he was also staring at her.

"How did you acquire this? I thought they didn't exist anymore" Maria asked.

"You remember when I almost died? This was my opponent" Ethan replied.

"What? This was your opponent, so Vala created this, then how did you acquire it" Maria asked again, this time her face more serious.

"I defeated it, but it stabbed me before dying, then I acquired the crystal and summoned him. He already pledged loyalty to me, so there's nothing to worry about" Ethan spoke with Maria, still looking at it.

"Can it speak?" She asked.

"I can speak just fine" Varek answered with a hoarse voice.
