At the entrance of the alley, Jian Shiman’s face was stiff as she pulled Lee Zhichun, but he shrugged her off.

"Zhichun, they misunderstood me."

Jian Shiman tried to hold onto Lee Zhichun, but he waved her off.

Lee Zhichun wanted to speak to Mi Ai, but she looked at him coldly. Now that he believed her, she didn’t want to talk to him, not even a word.

Mi Ai turned around and ran towards her home.

"Zhichun, it’s all my fault, go find Mi Ai, I’ll explain for you. I won’t seek you out anymore, no matter how much I miss you or love you."

Jian Shiman cried pitifully as if she was truly reluctant to part from Lee Zhichun.

Lee Zhichun stood in place, pain flickering in his eyes.

Jian Shiman reached out to hug Lee Zhichun, "Zhichun, I never thought it would come to this, that Mi Ai would find out about our relationship. I’ve always just wanted to quietly be by your side."
