After seeing President Mo off, Mi Ai returned to her room, and Bai Juxia’s call came in.

Mi Ai chatted with Bai Juxia for quite some time before falling asleep.

The woman who bumped into Mi Ai was Yu Biting, whom they saw at the supermarket last time. The woman beside her was Shu Xin.

"What are you saying? This is such a wide path, you bumped into us on purpose and now say it’s us who don’t watch where we’re going."

Bai Juxia angrily said to Shu Xin and Yu Biting.

Shu Xin smirked coldly, her gaze falling on Mi Ai, "I would say it was you guys who bumped into us. Do you think just because you clung onto President Mo, you’re remarkable? Do you think you can truly capture President Mo’s heart with your qualifications? President Mo is just playing with you, and yet you’re dreaming of joining the wealthy!"

Mi Ai’s face slightly darkened, finally realizing why these two were targeting her—it was because of President Mo.

Bai Juxia also understood; no wonder they bumped into Mi Ai and spoke so harshly towards them—it was because Mi Ai was President Mo’s girlfriend.

The two of them were well-dressed, their family backgrounds clearly good.

Mi Ai’s expression was gloomy.

Bai Juxia couldn’t bear seeing Mi Ai being bullied. Mi Ai was always gentle and sincere with people; why was she always facing troubles recently?

Shu Xin’s hand was held back by Yu Biting, who stepped forward in high heels like a proud princess. After assessing Mi Ai and finding her really without merit, she sneered, "Miss Mi, I’ve heard you’re an orphan, a woman with no family background. Do you think you’re worthy of President Mo?"

Bai Juxia looked at her friend Mi Ai, knowing she had been affected by their words.

She reached out and held Mi Ai’s hand, "Don’t listen to them talk nonsense; they’re just jealous of you, that’s why they say such things."

Mi Ai nodded. She knew what these two meant, but couldn’t help but think about it.

The things they said were those she had been avoiding all along.

"Two gossipy women, President Mo genuinely likes my friend."

"So what if Mi Ai’s family background isn’t good, our President Mo still likes her. Even with your good family, President Mo hasn’t given you a single glance."

Bai Juxia stood in front of Mi Ai, smirking coldly.

Shu Xin and Yu Biting’s expressions turned ugly. Shu Xin glared at Mi Ai and Bai Juxia, "Like her? We’ll see her get abandoned by President Mo, and then see her cry somewhere. Does she even realize marrying into wealth isn’t that easy?"

Saying that, Shu Xin turned and headed to the parking spot with Yu Biting.

Mi Ai stood still, her expression slightly dazed. Bai Juxia held Mi Ai’s hand tightly, "Don’t overthink it, okay? President Mo genuinely likes you."

She could see that President Mo, Mo Yuyan, truly liked Mi Ai. With his credentials, he could choose any girlfriend, but since he was with Mi Ai, he must like her.
