After Su Qing finished speaking, she headed toward her room with Xiao Bai following close behind her, seemingly unbothered by her attempts to shoo it away; it didn’t run.

Qin Qin had a very unique scent, one of a kind, extremely pleasant, fresh and sweet. Even Mo Yuchu and Mo Yuyan had only a hint of her scent, and others who had used the Beauty Ointment she had made would have a barely similar scent, nowhere near hers.

“Daddy was very busy today, but I promise I won’t come back this late next time.”

Mo Yunchen’s handsome face softened as he looked at his daughter and son.

“Daddy worked hard.”

Mo Yuchu planted a kiss on Mo Yunchen’s cheek, and he smiled softly, “Daddy isn’t tired.”

A single word from his daughter melted his heart.

Putting down his daughter, Mo Yunchen took the hands of his daughter and son and walked inside.

“Daddy, have you eaten?” asked Mo Yuyan, looking up at Mo Yunchen with his youthful voice.

Mo Yunchen shook his head, and Steward Wei hurriedly instructed someone to prepare dinner.

Mo Yunchen sat at the dining table with Mo Yuchu and Mo Yuyan sitting across from him, watching him eat.

“Do you want more?” Mo Yunchen put down his chopsticks and looked at his daughter who was staring at him.

Mo Yuchu shook her head, “Chuer can’t eat anymore. Sister said Chuer can’t eat anymore, otherwise Chuer’s tummy will hurt.”

Mo Yunchen looked at Mo Yuchu with a warm smile, “Who is this sister?”

“Sister is…” Mo Yuchu covered her mouth, shook her head, “Chuer can’t say, sister will be unhappy.”

Mo Yunchen stared at Mo Yuchu covering her mouth and shaking her head, a flash crossing his eyes.

Mo Yuyan looked at Mo Yunchen and took his sister Mo Yuchu’s hand, “Dad, I’m taking my sister upstairs to read.”

Fearing that his sister might inadvertently reveal their sister’s secret, Mo Yuyan quickly spoke to Mo Yunchen, and they headed upstairs holding hands as soon as he nodded in approval.

After Mo Yuchu and Mo Yuyan left, Mo Yunchen turned to Steward Wei, “Who is the ‘sister’ Chuer mentioned? Did something happen today?”

Steward Wei approached Mo Yunchen and spoke quietly, “The ‘sister’ Miss Chuer mentioned is a maid in the villa. Today… it seems that Miss Chuer and Young Master Yan have become very close to that maid.”

“What’s her name?”

Mo Yunchen walked to the second floor and stopped at his children’s bedroom door. Pushing the door open, he saw both little figures huddled together whispering, but they abruptly separated when he entered, as if they had been caught plotting mischief, looking adorably guilty.

“What are you plotting?” Mo Yunchen walked into the room.

Mo Yuchu and Mo Yuyan shook their heads in unison, “Chuer and brother were not plotting anything, daddy. Chuer and brother are tired; we’re going to rest.”

Having said that, Mo Yuchu, with her small frame, pushed Mo Yunchen towards the door. He let himself be guided out of the room by her.
