CHAPTER 57: TO THE TRAIL (1)

So this is going to be a fairly prolonged arc in excess of 10 Chapters but probably not reaching 20. Hope you enjoy!

Waking up I found myself squished between two warm bodies as usual their hands claiming various parts of my body be it my chest for Kana or my ass for Amanda. I simply nussled into Amanda’s chest and enjoyed the warmth that radiated from them both for some time. Eventually Kana woke up too and it didn’t take long before I helped ’clean’ her up with my mouth.

Once Amanda woke up to seeing me between Kana’s legs I was required to have a second breakfast. Not that I was left unattended as when we finally got up I was week in the legs and had to sit and steady myself for a little bit whilst my two lovers cleaned themselves up.

I did decide to try out that method of magical cleaning that Atar told me about and to my surprise it worked wonderfully, as my mana rolled over my naked body all the sweat and various fluids were wiped clean and I was left with a slightly floral scent permitting my body which I found quite appealing. Repeating this with both ladies we soon found ourselves ready to head down.

However that was when a voice spoke to me from within my head, or I suppose it would be more accurate to say my soul? It was the deep melodious voice of my now bonded dryad who I had decided to call Ivy. "Hmm now that was a delectable way to start off the morning master, will you be inviting me to join your bed any time soon?" The sensuality of that question caused me to shiver slightly just imagining the giant green woman doing all kinds of things for my libido.

This was the first time she had spoken since we had bonded and I have provided her a name. After she asked me to name her I took some time before suggesting the name of Ivy and she liked it well enough, then she told me that she would require some rest before disappearing into a burst of green light that shot towards my chest before sinking into it.

It was an odd sensation having someone reside in your soul. It felt like I had a weight pressing down on my everything, but not in an uncomfortable way, it was hard to describe but my best go at it was that I now felt like my everything held just a bit more.. ’significance?’ And after the first few moments of discomfort it actually began to feel quite pleasant.

Regardless as soon as she entered my soul she swiftly fell asleep and her presence seemed to fade into the background, I could still sense her and I got the feeling that I could wake her up if I wanted to. But given that we were relaxing for a few days I saw no need in that and allowed her to rest up for the past couple days, and it seemed like she had now just awoken again. Just in time to watch me have sex with my two lovers.

"Oh your awake Ivy, glad to have you back." I said, conveniently ignoring her actual question. I did speak out loud and got a questioning glance from the two women but when they heard me mention Ivy they seemed to understand.

I heard a huff of amusement before a flash of green slipped out of my chest and coalesced into the giant 9ft tall nature and lust attuned dryad. She was naked as ever with her odd nippleless boobs standing proud and each one matching my entire head in size. The rest of her curves were as exaggerated as before. "So how come you spent so long sleeping Ivy?" I asked to move us into a safer line of dialogue.

"Oh quite simple really with our bond forged the staff I was housed within absorbed into my new form it took me some time to adjust to that influx of power, but sadly most of it is still locked away as you are still not a high enough rank to utilise all of my abilities."

I blinked before checking my storage space and sure enough the staff that I was so looking forward to using was now gone. I let out a groan before speaking up. "Did you have to eat my staff I was quite looking forward to getting to use that."

She smirked at me before speaking. "Well I think you should be thanking me really master, after all you will still retain the improved efficiency of utilising nature mana but now it will work if I am summoned or not. And given that the staff is still technically my core this body can be destroyed and I can reform myself from within your soul given enough mana and time. If anything it can only be viewed as a boon given that you now have another free item slot to equip something with. After all your boon won’t count either me or the staff in your soul as equipped since we are soul bound."

I paused at that considering her words, if true which I felt they were then this was truly a great thing to have happened. And I somehow knew they were true, or at least that she believed them to be so, our bond with me being the master ensured that I could sense the truth in her words. "Well then I suppose I will have to thank you for that then, and I shall say that I am looking forward to working with you."

I paused for a moment looking at all my companions with a wry smile. "Well it is nice to meet you, you are a bigun though." Kana mused whilst looking up at the dryad. "Also not that I mind but you might consider covering up somewhat if you ever want to go out and about. Some folk dislike open nudity." She chuckled towards the end there.

With a humm leaves sprouted along the dryad mimicking my own dress just in various shades of green and consisting of leaves and vines. "Is this sutable?" Ivy asked us.

"I suppose it is about as covered as I could expect a dryad to be given your affinity to lust." Was Amanda’s dry comment, but given the slight crimson glow in her eyes I could tell she enjoyed the sight.

"Well either way hop on back in for now Ivy we need to get some food and then to meet up with Zara before we head out towards th le trial location. We were told to be there before dawn tomorrow." After I said so Ivy pouted at me but did as I asked and transformed into a burst of green light before shooting towards my chest. The now familiar weight settling into my very being.

Once that was dealt with we headed downstairs where we were greeted by the ever merry Fuarder "Mornin lassies what can I get ya?" His ever thick accent confusing my two companions as per usual.

Smiling at him I made my way over to him before speaking. "Morning to you Fuarder, afraid today will be our last day here for a little while, we’re on the expedition into the trail grounds so will be out of town for a week maybe 2. But for right now I would love some breakfast for me and mine."

I could almost swear I saw a flash of saddness pass over his eyes at that but it was gone before I could properly register it and his merry demeanour returned. "Aye not to worry get yourself settled and it’ll be right over." He paused for a moment before continuing in a more somber tone. "Be careful alright I don’t know much about the trial but Iv heard that every time it opens only around half the people that enter ever return whole and hail."

That news shocks me for a moment so I swifty ask. "What do you mean by whole and hail? Are the crippled, killed? What sort of state do the unlucky ones return in?"

"Well this is just hearsay ya hear, but maybe 10% don’t return at all. As for the ones that do return but ain’t all there, well. Some return as cripples completly cut off from and form of magic. But some have their afinities changed and their entire paths upended. They are the truly unlucky ones. But again this is just rumours so take it with a grain of salt lassy." He pauses for a moment before continuing on his tone going to a slightly forced cheer. "But enough from me go sit ya food will be with ya shortly." And with that he turns around and heads down the bar to another waiting customer.

I face the girls who heard everything with a small frown. "Well that sounds mighty ominous doesn’t it." Kana snorts at that understatement but doesn’t comment further.

We soon find ourselves sat at an empty table as we quietly consider the dwarfs words. We only resume talking once we have eaten our fill and are ready to depart.

Waving at Fuarder on our way out we soon find ourselves back on the streets and watch as the city begins to wake up and folk venture out to begin their day. "Okay well I say we should stock up on anything and everything we could need. We should all carry some food incase we get split up for whatever reason and then grab whatever else you might need." Getting nods for both women we head out to do some more of my favourite activity, shopping!

We wander the markets and other stalls and shops gather a selection of goods. From a couple of spare small tents for Kana and Amanda to plenty of food stuffs mainly for me but I ensure the other two have plenty of items that can easily if not pleasantly fill them up in an Emergancy.

By the time mid day comes around we have gathered everything I could think we would need before we head over to meet up with Zara. Thankfully it seems that she already has everything that she could need so we only stop by to grab some lunch before we heading towards the East gate. After queuing to get out of the city through the large open gates we find ourselves back on the plains as we make our way towards our destination.
