CHAPTER 37: CH 37: ATTACKING THE UNDERGROUND BASE

In the core area of the underground base, inside a luxurious looking room, almost all of the high ranking leaders and quite a few of the regular members of the Shadeshifters Company had gathered and were having a party.

It was not everyday that they got the chance to have this kind of large gathering. So other than enjoying it, the leaders were also exchanging information and such.

The two main leaders and the only two proper offical knights of the Shadeshifters were sitting in the best position in the highest quality chairs. There were five extremely beautiful ladies serving them sexually and were doing their best in pleasuring them.

The atmosphere in the room was very light, lustful, easy and fun. Recently, the Shadeshifters were having a lot of success in all the fields that they were trying out. For this reason everyone’s mood was also quite good.

All of them had gathered here to witness another good news. According to the avilable information, it was clear that that the girl whom Ganz had captured could become a golden egg laying goose in the future. So all the people were interested in seeing how this mysterious girl actually looked.

This room was designed in such a way that the sound of whatever was happening inside would not reach the outside and the outside sounds would also not disturb the people who were in here.

But tonight, suddenly the high ranking members inside were disturbed when the door of this room was slammed open and a badly injured lower ranking member of the organisation broke in.

His whole body was covered in blood and he was in the verge of dying. But before losing his last breath, he shouted at the top of this lungs -

"The slaves are rioting."

After leaving with Ganz, Weiss came to the warehouse where the main entrance to the underground base was located.

There were other entrances to this underground base in the city but all the other entrances were there to be used as emergency exits. So no one was allowed to use them without a special reason.

Weiss was coverings her whole body with a black robe and walking slowly in a defeated manner. This had immediately shown the guards that currently she was completely under control of Ganz.

And as Weiss had a small body, the guards obviously had no fear toward her. Who would fear a weak looking little girl like her without having any idea about how strong she actually was.

So Weiss and Ganz had no trouble getting inside the hidden door. And as soon as the door behind them were closed, Weiss immediately took action.

The outer area did not have many guards. As only male slaves were kept here, the guards liked to stay in the inner area more where the females slaves were.

So Weiss quickly took action and beheaded six of the men who were guarding this place. With her powerful agility, she was able to do this in a blink of an eye and without the guards noticing anything.

Some of the slaves who had noticed this were looking at the fallen guards and the person responsible for doing this with wonder in their eyes. But they did not shouted or did anything else.

They were already so numb to everything and were in such despair that they were unable to understand what was happening here.

Weiss was able to understand what these people here were feeling because there were some times in the past when she had felt very similar to them.

So Weiss sent Ganz to the inner area to make sure that the guards from there would not come here. Then she got ready to give her proposal to the slaves.

Time was a very important thing in this operation. Weiss did not want the city guards or the count ruling this city to discover any of her trace.

So if any of the slaves were unwilling to accept her proposal and refused to co-operate with her, Weiss could only leave them be.

She did not have the time to have a heart to heart conversation with everyone and to make them change their mind.

"I’m here to free all of you from this place. I even have a safe place ready that you all can call your new home.

I do not plan to put shackles on you all or treat you as objects to be sold. So if you have even a little bit of trust in me then follow me.

I will take you all out of here where carriages are waiting for you. Those carriages will take you away from the city and toward your next home."

Even though Weiss’s voice was cold, to these men who were currently in the depths of despair, her voice sounded like the whisper of an angel. Many people who had lost the light in their eyes, they got some of that light back after hearing Weiss’s words.

Noticing the positive reaction to her words, Weiss started to break the locks of the jail like rooms with her sword.

Immediately the men locked inside came out but all the while trying to be as quiet as possible.

They were aware that currently making a ruckus here would be a foolish thing to do. So even though quite a few people here felt like shouting in joy for tasting a bit of freedom after a long and scary nightmare, they managed to hold it in for the time being.

Weiss escorted all the now freed men toward one of the security exits. Outside of this door, Karl should already be there, ready with the carriages.

As Weiss opened the door with some caution, to her relief, she found Karl there. He had managed to sucessfully take over this place. It was not really a surprising outcome as Karl was a knight.

While Weiss was sending the weakened people to rest in the carriages, some of the men among the freed slaves who were still somewhat healthy approached her and request Weiss to allow them to assist her.

There was a high possibility that the ladies of the inner and core areas would be even more weakened than the men and they might have a hard time running.

So having these men there to carry them would be very helpful. With this in mind, Weiss decided to accept the help that they were offering.

Then she left everything here to Karl and immediately went toward the inner area. About 30 or so men followed behind her.

After reaching the inner area, Weiss found that the no one had noticed at all that the outer area was now empty.

This made even Weiss to be dumbfounded. The guards guarding this place were way too lax and careless.

And the reason for this carelessness was also clear. All the guards were allowed to use the female slaves of the inner area for their pleasure whenever they wanted.

So while Weiss was rescuing the slaves, they were busy having sex with the female slaves in the inner area and listening to nothing but their clapping sound and the voice of the ladies.

As this was actually a good thing for Weiss, she did not mind it and quickly took action again and started to kill the guards. The men who were following behind her did the same and attacked the guards too.

But the inner area had more than 50 guards, so obviously taking care of so many did not go as well as before and brawls broke out in some parts.

Weiss and even Ganz participated in the brawl to take care of the guards as soon as they could.
