Marked By Destiny: Claimed By Three Alpha Brothers
Chapter 127: To his hungry mouth
CHAPTER 127: TO HIS HUNGRY MOUTH
Leia looked down at the document in her hands, her eyes widening with joy before a bright smile spread across her face.
"You approved it," she said softly, lifting her gaze to meet Lucien’s.
Lucien, seated comfortably in the chair, gave a small nod. "Yes. I think the project holds great potential, especially for the younger pups. It’s a meaningful initiative," he replied.
"You can coordinate with Kieran regarding the budget and other logistics," he added.
"Of course," Leia said, still beaming. "Thank you, truly. This means so much to me. I’ve never worked on a project like this before, but I’m genuinely excited. I promise I’ll give it my all."
"I know you’ll give your best," Lucien said. He then opened the drawer beside him and pulled out a small box wrapped neatly in elegant paper. Holding it out to her, he added, "Here. This is for you."
Leia’s eyes lit up with curiosity as she looked at the box. "What’s this?" she asked, gently taking it from his hand.
"Open it and see for yourself," Lucien replied with a faint smile.
She carefully unwrapped the box and lifted the lid. Inside, resting on a satin lining, was a fountain pen. Her gaze softened as she noticed the fine detailing, her name’s initial engraved on it in elegant gold lettering.
"It’s beautiful," Leia whispered, touched by the gesture.
"With this pen, you’re going to sign countless documents and change the lives of many in this pack," Lucien said as he finally rose from his seat.
Leia let out a light laugh, holding the pen delicately between her fingers. "It feels like I’m going to war," she joked, a playful glint in her eyes.
Lucien met her gaze with a serious expression. "Any position like yours is a war, Leia. But it’s one fought with vision, patience, and decisions, not weapons. A Pack Coordinator is a job which demands even the tiniest possible details."
"I understand, Alpha," Leia said softly, her eyes still fixed on the pen resting in her hand.
Lucien leaned casually against the edge of the table, his gaze lingering on her face. "Isn’t that a bit too formal?" he asked, a subtle smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.
Leia looked up, meeting his eyes with a cheerful smile. "You’re the Alpha of the pack. It’s only right I address you that way," she replied, placing the pen gently back into the box with care.
"Well then," she added, stepping back slightly, "I’ll go and see what’s being prepared for dinner." Without waiting for a response, she turned to leave, only to be pulled back gently by her elbow.
"Check later," Lucien murmured as his arms slid around her lower waist, drawing her close.
Leia stiffened slightly, casting a quick glance toward the door. "What if someone comes in?" she asked, tilting her head to look over her shoulder.
Lucien reached up and turned her face back to him, his fingers under her chin, guiding her gaze to meet his. His eyes locked onto hers. "You shall focus on me, Darling," he said with affection.
Leia’s lips twitched in a faint smile as she gently removed his hand from her chin. "Yeah, my eyes are on you," she replied.
"Did you have fun today?" Lucien asked.
"If you’re referring to whether Ronan and I had fun, then yes, definitely," Leia replied, her eyes lighting up at the memory. "I played in the pool after such a long time. Kieran couldn’t join us since he had to leave for some work. But I really hope the four of us get to play together next time."
"Tomorrow’s Saturday," Lucien said. "We can play then. But just so you know, you’re going to be on my team."
"Nope," Leia grinned. "I’m sticking with Ronan’s team."
As she spoke, her finger gently reached up, tracing the shape of Lucien’s lips as if memorizing the curve of each line.
Lucien caught her finger mid-motion, his brow arching with quiet amusement. "What are you doing?"
"Nothing," Leia replied with a mischievous glint in her eyes, shaking her head. "I just thought you were the kind who’s busy even on Saturdays. You barely let yourself relax or have fun."
"I’ve decided to change that," Lucien said, his nose lightly brushing with hers. "To take time out for myself, for you... and for my brothers too."
Leia tried to tug her finger free, but he didn’t let go. Then, his lips brushed against hers. The kiss was filled with something deeper than mere desire. To Lucien’s surprise, Leia’s eyes were already closed, as though she had been waiting for this, her heart in sync with his.
His hand slowly slid down to her thigh, pausing briefly to gauge her response. But she didn’t resist, instead, her quiet acceptance urged him on, giving him silent permission to explore her in that same tender rhythm.
With a swift motion, he turned her around and guided her back against the desk. Carefully, he lifted one of her legs and helped her perch on the edge, her hands instinctively gripping the wooden surface for balance.
’I don’t feel the need to push him away anymore... I want him to—’
She stopped herself mid-thought, overwhelmed by the warmth surging within her, unsure whether it was passion... or something far more dangerous.
Lucien pulled away from her lips, but only to trail lower, his mouth finding the sensitive curve of her neck. He placed slow, open-mouthed kisses there, his breath warm against her skin.
Leia instinctively tilted her head, offering him more, a soft gasp escaping her lips as the sensation bloomed down her spine.
Her off-shoulder top slipped further down one side, revealing more skin to his hungry mouth. Encouraged by her response, Lucien’s hand moved up to cup her breast over the fabric.
Leia let out a soft moan, her body arching slightly into his hand, her heartbeat rising with every second that passed.
The spicy allure of his pheromones wrapped around her. It was intoxicating, clouding her thoughts with heat. Her wolf stirred deep within, whispering desires she had always tried to suppress.
’I want more... from him.’
The voice echoed in the back of her mind. And this time, she didn’t silence it.
"More," she whispered, causing Lucien’s eyes to lit in desire.
