The doctor looked at Seraphina’s surprised face and was a bit taken aback as well.

"Didn’t you know you were pregnant?"

Seraphina snapped back to reality, suppressing the shock and excitement in her heart.

"Are you... sure?"

"When you fainted earlier, we did a full-body check for you and found some abnormalities in your blood data, so I specifically asked the nurse to do a pregnancy blood test for you."

The doctor took a test sheet from the medical file in his hand and handed it to Seraphina.

Seraphina took the test sheet and looked at it carefully.

Sean Hale saw the doctor out, and Seraphina folded the test sheet and clasped it in her hand.

She stepped back two steps to sit on the edge of the bed, falling into deep thought.

This child wasn’t part of the plan between her and Ethan, and Seraphina was somewhat uncertain about how Ethan would react to this news.

After seeing the doctor out, Sean Hale returned to the hospital room.

"Since there’s no longer any need to stay in the hospital, shall I arrange a car for you to go home and rest?"

"I want to..." Seraphina tightened her fingers around the test sheet, "go see Ethan again."

"Alright, let me help you pack your things."

Sean Hale helped her quickly pack up, and they went upstairs together to Ethan’s hospital room.

Nathan Foster, upon seeing Seraphina, approached with concern.

"Seraphina, are you okay?"

"The doctor said the lady is fine now, she can be discharged and go home to rest." Sean Hale briefly explained the situation.

Nathan Foster let out a sigh of relief, and Ethan, lying on the hospital bed, stared at Seraphina for a moment.

"Please step out for a moment, everyone. I want to talk to her alone."

The others left the hospital room, leaving only Seraphina and Ethan.

Holding his hand, Seraphina looked into his pale face, her eyes showing a trace of heartache.

"Have you found out what happened?"

"It was just an accident, don’t worry."

Ethan, not wanting her to worry, shook his head slightly, offering a reassuring smile.

"Darling, David has always wanted to invite you to join their band. Are you really not considering it?"

Currently, his company and Zenith were facing a lot of danger.

This trip abroad would be a tough battle awaiting Ethan.

Seeing Seraphina standing by Ethan’s bedside, Arthur Sterling frowned and stopped.

"I haven’t allowed you to come in."

"I’m your father, I don’t need permission to enter my son’s hospital room." Arthur Sterling glanced at Seraphina, "How are you planning to handle the company matters?"

"If you need any help, I can assist you."

"Thank you for the offer, Mr. Sterling." Ethan’s tone was chillingly emotionless, "But, I don’t need it."

"You..." Arthur Sterling’s brows furrowed tightly, "I’m your father, is it so difficult for you to accept my help?"

"I don’t need help from anyone, and I don’t need...a father." Ethan lowered his lashes, "I’m tired, please leave."

"Ethan!" Arthur Sterling looked at him with determination, "Why are you always so stubborn? No matter what, you are my son, and a father helping his son is right and natural."

"Son?" Ethan scoffed, "I have no such father, nor do I need your condescending help and pity. Get out!"

"Ethan..."

"Out!"
