CHAPTER 151: GIANT VENOM

Purple veins stretched across the massive white eyes of Venom, making him appear even more sinister and terrifying. His long tongue lolled out, dripping thick, disgusting saliva onto the floor in steady plops. At this moment, Venom looked like a drugged-up maniac—completely unhinged and utterly feral.

"You fall back. I’ll handle this," Wanda said instinctively, taking a cautious step back, her eyes fixed on the monster.

"Gladly!" Jessica responded without hesitation—her voice free of the stubborn pride most superheroes carried. She wasn’t about to throw her small limbs against this seven-meter-tall monstrosity. She was brave, sure—but not brainless.

Venom let out a deafening roar toward the ceiling, his voice shaking the factory and sending dust raining down. His giant eyes, now laced with those eerie purple lines, locked onto the two women below like prey. With a massive arm swinging like a pile driver, he slammed the ground hard.

BOOM!

The impact was like a mini-nuke. The concrete floor split wide open, chunks of rubble blasted out in every direction, clattering against nearby machinery with a chaotic symphony of metallic bangs.

Wanda shot out from the debris cloud like a scarlet bullet, gracefully landing on the exposed floor.

The second strike came almost instantly.

Venom’s arm morphed into a giant black warhammer, and with a roar, he brought it crashing down toward her.

Jessica’s heart leapt into her throat just watching it. If she had been the one standing there? She wouldn’t have even had time to scream.

Wanda stared up at the oncoming weapon, her focus sharpening. The scarlet chaos magic surrounding her hardened like molten glass—shimmering and solid—as she instantly dodged from the hammer’s path.

BOOM!

The ground exploded again. The red glow of Wanda’s aura shot from the impact site like a rocket. She landed with a bone-jarring thud, but chaos magic caught her like a sponge, cushioning the blow.

KRRAACK!

The shockwave carved a long trench across the floor. Wanda stood up, patting dust off her robes. Though she was a bit roughed up, the hammer hadn’t actually hurt her.

Her sharp eyes locked onto the now-mutated giant Venom. From that brief exchange, she could sense it—his body was overflowing with potent black magic. If this had been earlier in her journey, she might’ve struggled. But now...

Venom, seeing that his target had survived again, let out a frenzied roar and charged. Jessica, watching from a distance, could actually feel the tremors from his massive feet pounding the ground.

Wanda swung her arms down. Scarlet light flared from her palms, and the air seemed to bend under the force. She launched herself upward, flipping through the air as she aimed herself directly at Venom’s incoming fist.

Her hands crossed in front of her chest—power surging.

Jessica’s jaw dropped. What the hell was that girl thinking?! She might be strong, but she was still a girl! How was she going to take on something the size of a truck with that tiny body?

BOOM!

Red and black energies collided with a thunderous crash. The air itself rippled as shockwaves burst outward, forming visible rings that pushed everything back.

Wanda flipped mid-air, landing elegantly. Venom, on the other hand, was flung back like a sack of bricks—his massive frame crashing through the factory wall and disappearing into the distance.

Was it a draw?

No.

Jessica stared in disbelief. That tiny sorceress had just won the exchange!

The fight wasn’t over. Wanda, not giving her opponent any breathing room, flew toward him again. Her hands spun with chaos magic, forming a swirling crimson vortex.

One of Venom’s arms got caught in it. The moment it did, it began to disintegrate. But strangely, there was no blood or gore—just black, magical goo unraveling into nothing. Then, as if rejecting destruction, the arm regenerated almost instantly.

With another roar, Venom turned his remaining arm into a massive blade and slashed down at Wanda.

Wanda’s eyes narrowed. She flicked her finger.

From the vortex, a thread of razor-thin magic lashed out.

SNAP!

The massive blade-arm was severed cleanly at the root. The dark tendril-like flesh writhed on the ground a few times before going still.

Wanda’s magic flared again. She rose into the air, hovering directly over Venom’s head. Then, like a crimson cannonball, she dove straight down.

Venom responded with dozens of black tendrils, flailing and whipping to block her—but she ignored them. With raw power and purpose, she crashed directly into Venom’s chest.

BOOM!

A thick plume of black smoke erupted from the impact site.

Jessica, watching from afar, braced herself. The earth rumbled violently beneath her feet. The smoke was so dense, it completely obscured her vision.

Was that girl even human?!

As the smoke cleared, a massive crater came into view. Inside it lay a disoriented middle-aged man, pale-faced and covered in stubble. His bleary eyes fluttered open, and he muttered groggily:

"So... what day is it again?"

Jessica just stared.

Nope. That girl wasn’t human. No way.
