Boom!

With a thunderous crash, Hela leapt out from the massive crater.

Shock and disbelief were written all over her face.

This man… he was actually this strong!

No wonder Thor and Loki treated him as their last hope.

"Just who are you?"

Hela's piercing eyes locked onto Alex as she demanded in a low, grave voice.

During her time roaming the cosmos, she had never heard of such a figure.

To think that while she was imprisoned by Odin for countless ages, a powerhouse like this had emerged in the universe.

Even Odin himself had been no stronger than this!

"Homelander Alex, from Earth."

Alex replied coolly.

"Midgard? How could someone like you possibly come from that place!" Hela snapped in disbelief.

"You don't even understand the Nine Realms as they are now, and yet you dream of being queen?"

Alex sneered, wasting no more words as he charged at her again.

Hela dared not take him lightly. With a flourish, she conjured two blades into her hands and met Alex's storm-like assault.

But it was no use.

Alex's speed was simply too fast—so fast Hela couldn't even react.

He pummeled her like a sandbag, slamming her here, hammering her there, again and again without reprieve.

The beating was merciless.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

For a time, the only sounds that echoed were those of Hela being battered.

"How pitiful… our poor sister."

Loki winced as he watched, unable to bear the sight.

He too had once been beaten down by Homelander, and at the time, he had thought himself utterly miserable. But now, compared to Hela, his suffering had been nothing.

She was in far worse shape.

Boom!

With another thunderous impact, Hela was driven back into the ground.

Yet in the very next instant, she climbed out again, her expression eerily composed, as if Alex's relentless storm of attacks had been for nothing.

It was as though all his effort had struck only empty air.

"You are strong. In fact, you are the strongest person I have ever encountered—I admit it!"

Hela's voice rang out, her gaze boring into Alex.

"But what of it? You cannot kill me! I can fight you endlessly!"

This was Asgard!

As long as she stood here, Hela possessed infinite power.

No matter how grievous the wound, unless Alex could finish her in a single instant, she would regenerate without end.

And so, she stood utterly fearless.

"This is bad…" Thor's face turned grim.

"Homelander, Asgard itself is Hela's power source. Here, she has limitless strength!"

So that's how it was.

Alex understood now.

Hela's advantage was essentially a cheat—Asgard itself fueled her.

But even so, Alex didn't consider it much of a problem.

"In that case, I'll just take her out of Asgard."

He smiled with absolute confidence. In the next moment, he surged forward—not to pummel her, but to seize her from behind in a crushing embrace.

His vast telekinetic power wrapped around her like a cocoon, locking her in place.

Boom!

And then, without hesitation, Alex blasted off, carrying Hela with him as he soared skyward, straight out of Asgard.

"No—NO!"

For the first time, panic flickered across Hela's face.

She hadn't expected Alex to pull such a move.

If he succeeded in dragging her out of Asgard, then her fate was sealed—she would definitely die.

"I won't let you!"

Hela roared furiously, unleashing everything she had against the force restraining her, thrashing wildly to break free of Alex's grip.

But it was futile.

No matter how she struggled, she couldn't escape.

She could only watch helplessly as Alex carried her farther and farther away from Asgard.

With every passing second, Hela could feel her link to Asgard weakening, fading…

Her inexhaustible power dwindled more and more.

"No… no!"

Her panic grew.

Finally—

Once they had flown far enough, Alex's eyes flared, and a single beam of heat vision cleaved through her neck.

The terror of Asgard, the so-called great demon who had pushed the realm to the brink, was utterly annihilated by Alex.

Boom!

Once it was done, Alex wasted no time. He carried Hela's corpse back to Asgard.

"Here. Your sister."

He tossed the bisected body down at Thor and Loki's feet.

Whoosh!

Seeing Hela truly dead at last, both brothers let out long, relieved sighs.

"Click-click-click… What a miserable way to die, my dear sister," Loki said, sneering down at her lifeless body.

"Homelander, Asgard owes you a debt beyond measure," Thor declared gravely, meeting Alex's gaze.

"But of course."

Alex did not deny it. He patted Thor on the shoulder.

"Give Lady Frigga my regards."

Boom!

With that, he said no more. In a flash, he took off and was gone.

Back in Krakoa, Alex fell deep into thought.

He had now fulfilled his plan of saving Asgard. When Earth someday faced a cataclysm and mutants needed a new home, Thor would surely not refuse to shelter them.

After all, Thor was one of the Avengers' Big Three.

And what did the Avengers represent?

Superheroes!

All of them had bleeding hearts, only in varying degrees.

Otherwise, why would Thor, a prince of Asgard, spend so much time running around Earth playing hero instead of ruling his own realm?

What's more—

Now that Alex had rendered such a massive service to Asgard, even if Thor refused, the decision wouldn't lie with him alone.

That said, Alex believed Thor would keep his word.

As for the rest of Earth's ordinary humans?

Alex could only say sorry. Their fates were none of his concern.

He was the king of Krakoa, not the ruler of Earth.

As long as he safeguarded his own domain, that was enough. He had neither the time nor the energy to care about the rest.

Still, he calculated quietly.

According to the movie timeline, Tiamut's birth was five years after the Infinity War, around the time of Endgame—2023.

And that had only happened because Banner's snap brought half the universe back, triggering an energy surge on Earth.

But now? With Thanos already slain by Alex, that sequence of events would never occur.

Which meant Tiamut's emergence might well be delayed by several more years.
