CHAPTER 109: CHAPTER 109: THE CYBER YACHT APPEARS! USING THE SUPER TEMPLATE FOR THE FIRST TIME!
After work, it meant two and a half days of freedom.
Lorien didn’t feel like staying home for dinner this time. He clapped his hands and said,
"Call Gwen. How about we go have a beach barbecue?"
"Sounds great!" Wanda nodded happily. "I’ll put the flowers away first."
"I’ll put my game controller back," Hela added as she ran off.
These days, Hela cared a lot about the feel of her controller. Before, she could use anything, even switching between different ones. Now? No way. She only used the same one every time, refusing to change.
That was a sign her gaming skills had improved.
Lorien pulled out his phone and dialed Gwen.
"Skyscraper. Hurry up. Beach. Barbecue."
"I’m coming!"
Beep Beep
The call ended.
On her way back from school, Gwen ducked into a spot to transform, then swung across the city on her webs, rushing toward them.
Not long after, Wanda and Hela came downstairs in fresh clothes and shoes. At the same time, Gwen flipped down from the rooftop of the tower and waved.
"Woohoo~! I’m not late, am I?"
"Perfect timing." Lorien watched her retract her Symbiote suit, then lifted his hand.
"Everyone ready? This time we’re not driving. We’ll teleport straight there."
"OK."
Snap~
With a snap of his fingers, the four vanished.
The next moment, they appeared near a beach party.
In the U.S., people loved the beach. By day, they sunbathed, swam, and played games. At night, the same beaches turned into parties—music, beer, and barbecue everywhere.
That also meant the popular ones were packed after dark. And full of thieves. Best keep an eye on your stuff.
As they arrived, Wanda glanced at the crowd and asked,
"Are we grilling our own food, or just buying?"
"I’d rather do it ourselves, but..." Gwen looked around uneasily. The crowd was huge. Too much hassle, too unsafe.
Lorien scanned the area and made the call.
"Let’s just buy some food. Doing it ourselves is too much trouble."
So the three went off to pick up food from the stalls.
Not long after, Hela bit into a Mexican meat wrap with great expectations.
"Huh?"
Her face suddenly twisted.
"Blegh!"
She spat it out, glaring angrily at the layers of sauce inside.
"Why do they put all this weird stuff in here? Can’t they just use plain meat sauce?!"
Wanda and Gwen tried theirs too.
Lorien took a bite and shrugged.
"It doesn’t taste good without the sauces. Unless you go to an actual butcher shop in Mexico, this is what street food’s like."
Hela stared at her burrito in disgust. She handed it to Wanda.
"Want it?"
"I already have one."
She turned to Gwen.
"You—"
"I’ve got one too."
Finally, she looked at Lorien.
"..."
"If you don’t want it, toss it."
Biu~
Without hesitation, Hela lobbed it into the trash. Perfect shot.
The four strolled along the beach, Wanda and Gwen each hanging off one of Lorien’s arms. Hela wandered ahead, sniffing food stands, sizing things up. If it smelled good, she’d buy some. If not, she’d take one bite in front of the vendor, then toss it straight into the trash.
"You—!"
Naturally, that set off some furious vendors.
But Wanda only turned her head, letting a spark of scarlet magic flicker in her eyes. In an instant, the shopkeepers calmed down, their anger erased.
Gwen looked over in surprise.
"Wanda, you can hypnotize people without even getting close to them now?"
"Of course." Wanda turned back, hugging Lorien’s arm tighter.
"Lorien trains me every night. It’s exhausting, isn’t it~?"
Lorien froze, staring blankly at her. Wanda blinked at him playfully.
When he turned back, Gwen was already watching him with questioning eyes.
"Yes... it is pretty exhausting."
Lorien thought for a moment.
The old Wanda had been like an ordinary battery—once drained, it took ages to recharge before she could use her power again. But now? She was practically an infinite ultra-fast charger. After one round of special training, she could recharge in seconds and keep going, cycling back and forth multiple times without issue.
"Wanda’s been working hard on her magic at home," he finally said honestly.
Gwen nodded, clenched her little fist, and cheered herself on.
"Then I’ve got to work hard too! More training, more exercise!"
But after pumping herself up, she suddenly realized something.
"Wait... but normal equipment doesn’t work for me anymore. What do I do? Even a barbell weighing a few hundred kilos feels light."
A few hundred kilos, and still light. Gwen’s physique had long surpassed the limits of an ordinary Spider-Man.
"It’s fine." Lorien waved casually. "I’ll have Tony build a gravity chamber. I can modify it to amplify the effect—tens or even hundreds of times Earth’s gravity if needed."
Gwen’s eyes lit up.
"That’s perfect!"
With the plan set, Lorien pulled out his phone to call Tony Stark.
Meanwhile, in his secluded retreat, Tony was buried in armor research when his phone suddenly rang.
He glanced at the screen.
Lorien?
"Friday, pick up," Tony ordered immediately.
The line clicked open, and Lorien’s voice came through.
"Build me a gravity chamber that can adjust its intensity. Just do it the way you’re capable of—how many multiples doesn’t matter."
"You want... that?" Tony froze, then frowned. "Not a problem, but it’ll burn through a ton of energy. Without my Arc Reactor, it’ll be hard to keep it running."
"Energy’s the one thing I’ll never lack. No need for your reactor—just hardwire it. It’s for Gwen’s training."
"What?!" Tony was floored. He crossed one arm, rubbing his chin with the other.
"Spider-Lady needs that kind of gravity to train?"
Of course, Tony knew Gwen was Spider-Lady. Hiding in the city, slipping home—anyone with decent skills could piece that together. SHIELD knew. SWORD knew. A lot of people knew. Just not regular folks.
"Don’t overthink it, Tony. I’d hate to crush your confidence."
Lorien was strolling along the beach with Wanda and Hela clinging to his arms.
So how was he holding the phone?
Simple—Gwen was holding it up to his ear.
"Even if you finish your nanotech armor, you still won’t beat this little girl."
"...Alright." Tony rubbed his nose, a bit deflated. Yeah, that stung. Maybe mutation really was the true way forward. The human body was far too fragile.
"I’ll build it. But where do you want it?"
"Anywhere in your house," Lorien said casually.
"Anywhere?" Tony frowned. "The chamber itself will be heavy—hundreds of tons heavy. You can’t just haul it around afterward."
Meaning they’d have to pick the spot in advance.
"No problem." Lorien didn’t care. Weight was nothing to him. "Just build it. I’ll take care of the rest."
"This... fine." Tony stroked his beard.
Since the deal was settled, he shifted the topic.
"Bring your partner over sometime. We’ll cook together. Since leaving the city, I’ve realized something—technology isn’t just about shiny machines. It has to mesh with nature."
Faced with the invitation, Lorien thought it over and nodded.
"Sure. But I can’t guarantee when. Depends on timing."
"No problem. It’s a deal then. Goodbye."
"Goodbye. And best of luck with having kids early."
"Huh?!"
Beep Beep
The call ended, but Lorien had clearly caught the confused sound Tony made before hanging up.
Here he’d said "goodbye."
There he’d suddenly heard "have kids early."
Tony was left staring blankly at his phone.
Then he looked around Pepper’s quiet villa.
"Actually... having a child sooner wouldn’t be so bad."
More kids. More noise. More life.
...
Back in New York, Lorien and the girls reached the shore.
They kicked off their shoes, letting the waves lap against their feet.
After the call ended, Gwen tucked the phone into Lorien’s pocket.
"Hiss..." Lorien deliberately drew out the sound, then looked at Gwen with a grin.
"Just put it in, don’t squeeze."
"Huh?!" Gwen froze.
Before she could explain, Wanda and Hela both turned to look at her.
Their eyes seemed to say—so this is what you’re really like, Gwen?!
"You—!"
"Hiss...!"
Fuming, Gwen gave a real squeeze this time.
Lorien hissed again, but not from pain. With his body, how could it hurt? He had nearly lost control of something else entirely.
He looked at Wanda.
"That was fake just now. This one’s real."
Still annoyed, Gwen slapped him.
"You’re awful!"
Wanda glared at Lorien, then reached into his pocket herself and gave a squeeze.
"Hiss...!"
This time, Lorien almost couldn’t keep it in. He sucked in a sharp breath, then glanced down.
Sure enough—there was already a clear outline against his pants.
"Oh my god..."
A young woman nearby noticed and gasped, her eyes practically glowing. She even started walking over, as if wanting his number.
Wanda and Gwen exchanged a look.
"Move!"
They each grabbed one of Lorien’s arms and dragged him off at top speed. In no time, they’d pulled him into a deserted corner of the beach.
To an outsider, it looked like they were about to start something wild right there.
"Phew..." Lorien took a deep breath, then looked at the two women.
"I swear, I want to punish you both right now."
"Bleh~" Gwen stuck out her tongue twice, even adding a little provocation.
"We’re outside, haha~"
If it had only been Hela, Lorien probably would’ve gone through with it. But with Gwen and Wanda, it was impossible. They both knew it too—out here, he couldn’t act.
Wanda blinked playfully.
"No magic. No powers. Unless you can make the house sprout wings and fly over here, we’re walking home. Right, Gwen?"
"Right," Gwen nodded firmly.
Lorien’s jaw clenched in frustration. No powers? Then what—call Jetfire? But even if he did, it was still just a sports car. What could he do with that?
His irritation was boiling over... until an idea struck.
He hadn’t unveiled his cyberpunk yacht yet. It was supposed to be for tomorrow’s fun.
But why not tonight?
He grinned.
"Come."
With a wave, he strode toward the sea.
"Huh?"
Both Gwen and Wanda froze, then quickly followed. Their faces, however, grew redder with every step.
Wanda thought nervously—he’s not seriously planning to do it in the water, is he? That’d be freezing...
Gwen wasn’t afraid of the cold, but even she didn’t think she’d hold up.
They exchanged a tense glance.
But Lorien had other plans.
He stopped at the shore, turned, and raised his hand toward them.
"Watch closely."
"Huh?" Both of them fixed their eyes on his fingers.
Snap!
With a crisp snap, a 200-meter-long rift tore open above the sea.
From it descended a massive yacht—188 meters long, sleek, futuristic, cyberpunk to the core.
"Boom~~~!"
The vessel slammed into the water, sending waves dozens of meters high into the air. But Lorien had wrapped it in energy, so not a scratch touched it.
"Activate stealth mode."
At his command, the yacht’s exterior shimmered and shifted, vanishing into invisibility just like SHIELD’s Helicarrier.
Lowering his hand, Lorien looked at the two stunned women with a smile.
"You still have time to run. Otherwise, I’m catching both of you."
Gwen reacted first, slapping Wanda’s arm.
"Run! While he can’t use his powers! If he catches us, we’re doomed!"
She bolted, fast as lightning.
"Wait—" Wanda stammered. But she wasn’t a speedster. Unless she used magic—and magic took time.
"Whoosh!"
Before she could even think, Lorien vanished.
Thanks to the Silver Superman Template, even without using powers, his raw physique alone let him move at near light-speed.
Catching Gwen was as simple as pinching a bug.
Wanda had barely blinked when Lorien was already back—this time with Gwen slung over his shoulder.
"How are you this fast?!" Gwen twisted, shocked.
"Put me down! Wanda, run! Hurry!"
"You still want to run?" Lorien chuckled, reaching out to seize Wanda by the waist.
With one on his shoulder and the other in his arm, he leapt straight onto the yacht.
A few dozen meters of distance, a few meters of height—nothing for Lorien’s body. Compared to him, it was less than a speck in the Milky Way.
On his shoulder, Gwen went limp.
"It’s over..."
Wanda didn’t even protest. She just closed her eyes, resigned to her fate.
That night, the sea was anything but calm.
Once the 188-meter yacht cloaked itself with invisibility, soundproofing, and anti-surveillance wards, it vanished from view.
But invisible or not, the massive ship rocked and swayed through the night.
Exaggerated? Maybe. But not by much.
Either way, Lorien was more than satisfied.
...
The next morning, Lorien woke in the yacht’s top-deck suite.
He stepped outside, gazing at the sunlight glittering across the waves.
Gwen hadn’t left—it was the weekend, and with exams tomorrow, she’d chosen to rest and recharge.
Wanda, however, hadn’t been so lucky. She was always the one on the losing side. Gwen, not wanting to seem like she was picking on her, had teamed up with Lorien. But Wanda couldn’t even hold her own against him one-on-one. Two-on-one? She was crushed completely.
As Lorien strolled across the deck, something struck him.
"Wait... where’s Hela?!"
