Chapter 389 - 233 Lord Thousand-Mile Eye Invited (Two-in-One)_2
CHAPTER 389: CHAPTER 233 LORD THOUSAND-MILE EYE INVITED (TWO-IN-ONE)_2
Qin Shou glanced at the stunned Demon Eye Star People and shouted: "Xiong Mu has committed the crime of defying his superiors, and he is destined to be wanted by the entire Demon Eye Planet. If you, his subordinates, still wish to survive, your only option is to pledge your lives to protect Lord Hundred Eyes!"
"This..."
The Demon Eye Star People exchanged troubled looks, their eyes full of fear.
How could they dare to stand against Xiong Mu?
Qin Shou raised an eyebrow and suddenly yelled, "Summon Lord Thousand-Mile Eye."
"Buzz!!"
A disturbance rippled across the snail shell, and six golden beams shot straight into the sky. A young man with a sharp chin, sunken cheeks, and four eyes on his forehead gradually hovered into view.
"What... Another Six-Eyed Noble?"
The crowd was stunned and found it utterly unbelievable.
But Xiong Mu was instead overjoyed.
If a single Six-Eyed Demon wasn’t enough to facilitate his ascension to Six-Eyed status, then two... his chances had greatly increased.
"Hahaha, excellent, excellent! You’ve delivered yourselves right to my doorstep!"
Xiong Mu laughed heartily, spurring the Five Poison Monsters to charge at Qin Shou and the others.
Qin Shou gave a slight nod to "Thousand-Mile Eye." "Brother Monkey, let’s begin."
"Got it!"
Brother Monkey nodded, his eyes gleaming with brilliant Golden Light. A wave of extreme terror swept across the mining zone, causing all the Low-level Demons present to tremble in fear.
"What are you waiting for? Are the two Six-Eyed Lords incapable of commanding you?" Qin Shou shouted angrily.
Instantly, the crowd’s fear of Xiong Mu was overwhelmed by the terror surging through their hearts. Without hesitation, they unleashed their Monster Puppets, hurling them toward the Five Poison Monsters.
"Hiss..."
"Roar..."
The tide turned as subordinates retaliated. Over a hundred Monster Puppets attacked the Five Poison Monsters simultaneously, overwhelming even the third-level, three-star Monster Puppets in the melee.
The ground shook violently as the entire mining area devolved into a warzone. Numerous miners, recognizing the danger, had already fled the scene and were scrambling back toward Bailing City, desperate to return home.
Though the Five-Eyed Demon faced betrayal from his own men, the future of Bailing City now glimmered with a sliver of hope.
"Kill!!"
Xiong Mu, enraged, commanded the Five Poison Monsters to savagely slaughter the oncoming Monster Puppets.
The giant-horned centipede’s armor was utterly impenetrable, and the packed Monster Puppets swarming it found their Energy Beams and sharp claws utterly ineffective. Instead, the centipede monster gored them one by one, impaling them with its massive horn.
The Golden Toad was surrounded by a corrosive golden fluid. Any Monster Puppet daring to approach was immediately shrouded in black smoke as their claws and fangs were eaten away by the fluid. The deadly poison seeped into their systems, dismantling their internal organs.
Periodically, the Golden Toad’s elongated tongue shot out, wrapping around a Monster Puppet and pulling it into its belly, converting it into more of the toxic golden liquid coating its body.
Nearby, the Black Poison Python’s scale armor was tough and unyielding. Its immense strength allowed it to sweep its tail, shattering the bones of several Monster Puppets in a single strike.
Furthermore, its fang-shot black venom splattered onto surrounding Monster Puppets, swiftly reducing them to rotting flesh.
The Leopard Gecko maneuvered quickly and freely, its massive frame asserting dominance wherever it moved.
Meanwhile, the Iron Armored Giant Scorpion’s frightful poison needle at the end of its tail was deadly—just a single sting caused Monster Puppets to collapse into spasms, utterly losing their combat capabilities.
With its robust defensive armor, the Iron Armored Giant Scorpion was impervious to damage from these low-level Monster Puppets.
As time passed, the five deadly Monsters easily gained the upper hand, making it apparent that eliminating the low-level Monster Puppets was merely a matter of time.
Meanwhile, Xiong Mu’s situation had become increasingly dire.
The Greedy Snake and other Synthetic Monsters encircled Xiong Mu along with numerous Demon Eye Star People, awaiting the signal from the "two lords" to tear him apart.
At this moment, the crowd parted to form a path as the Monkey Avatar and Hundred-Eyed Demon advanced slowly forward.
From the back, Qin Shou cautiously studied Xiong Mu’s calm and collected expression and heightened his vigilance.
Xiong Mu glanced around at the surrounding Synthetic Monsters and grinned even wider.
"Ghidorah, Godzilla... So they’re from Earth’s Beast Cultivation. Lord Hundred Eyes, Lord Thousand-Mile Eye, could it be that you are Beast God Masters from Earth?" His smile turned eerie.
The crowd froze upon hearing his words.
It wasn’t entirely impossible.
Could it be...
Qin Shou chuckled softly, "Xiong Mu, they say you’re brutal and brainless. I didn’t expect you to suddenly grow clever at a time like this."
"What!!"
The words sent a chill through the crowd.
The two Six-Eyed Lords were frauds!
As they hastily prepared to withdraw their Monster Puppets, a Seven-Colored Energy Beam suddenly engulfed them, trapping them in place.
"We..."
"This isn’t good..."
In a flash, golden Thunder Power rained down across the area. Over a hundred Demon Eye Star People screamed in despair as the bolts reduced them to ash.
"Boom, boom, boom..."
Thunder Power exploded everywhere as Qin Shou stood with his hands behind his back, a faint smile playing across his lips. The incoming debris was intercepted by the Hundred-Eyed Demon and the Monkey Avatar.
Without their Monster Puppets for protection, the Demon Eye Star People appeared even weaker than Earth’s Beast Tamers.
As for the now-masterless Monster Puppets, their glowing eyes slowly dimmed until they became lifeless husks.
From the moment they were refined into Monster Puppets, their consciousness had long since vanished, leaving behind nothing but soulless shells.
On the battlefield, only the Five Poison Monster Puppets remained active, showing no signs of abnormality.
Xiong Mu... was still alive!
"Roar!!"
The thought barely crossed Qin Shou’s mind when roars from several enormous Beasts echoed amidst the lightning storm. Multicolored energy beams blasted outward, forcing back the Synthetic Monsters.
"Boom, boom..."
The earth quaked violently as eight gigantic Beasts roared and emerged, shielding three figures within their midst.
"This is..." Qin Shou stroked his chin thoughtfully.
Earlier, Galatron had detected two Four-Eyed Demons with the combat strength of Unbreakable Realm, Three Stars. Most likely, they were here.
Xiong Mu’s personal bodyguards?
Interesting.
"Huff..."
A nauseating foul wind scattered the hazy dust clouds.
At the center of the eight Beasts, two cold-faced Four-Eyed Demons appeared beside Xiong Mu.
"Earthlings, I must admit, you are bold and terrifying," Xiong Mu said, clapping the shoulders of the two figures before they stepped back to clear a path.
"If my guess is correct, these so-called Six-Eyed Demons are just your cultivated Beasts, aren’t they?" Xiong Mu asked calmly.
Qin Shou raised his Communicator with a smile. "Lord Xiong Mu, there’s no need to stall for time. The surrounding signals have been completely blocked; you won’t be able to send any messages out."
Since he dared to reveal his identity, he had naturally made thorough preparations.
If he weren’t so weary of discussing things with these doomed, disposable underlings, he wouldn’t even bother to explain himself.
With so many Demon Eye Star People traveling to Earth to snatch cultivated Beasts, he could fabricate any excuse he wanted.
After all, those low-ranking Demon Eye Star People wouldn’t be able to tell fact from fiction anyway.
And if he could obtain Six-Eyed Demon genetics, even true Six-Eyed or higher-ranked Eye Nobles wouldn’t distinguish between the real and the fake.
Qin Shou’s simple statement turned Xiong Mu’s expression grim in an instant.
What a cunning Earthling. No wonder those above grew increasingly wary of Earth’s power.
"Hmph, even if you block communications, so what?"
Xiong Mu pointed at the rapidly approaching Five Poison Monster Puppets and sneered. "Counting these eight third-level, three-star Monster Puppets, there are thirteen in total.
"You may wield numerous cultivated Beasts, but they are only low-level and stand no chance of victory."
Qin Shou stretched lazily and casually remarked, "If there truly wasn’t any chance of winning, you wouldn’t have said all this to me.
"Ultimately, you’re still uncertain because you know full well the Demon Eye Star People’s greatest weakness!"
With that, Qin Shou’s sharp gaze flashed as he tapped the already-prepared System interface.
After slaughtering so many Demon Eye Star People and with his worker army tirelessly toiling day and night, he barely had enough Synthesis Points.
[Eye Q] + [Nine Demon Eyes] + [Third-Level Destruction Energy Beam Device]
Consumes 210,000 Synthesis Points to create Nightmare Level 2 Star Monster.
[Galatron] + [Third-Level Mecha] + [Third-Level Mechanical Heart]
Consumes 220,000 Synthesis Points to create Nightmare Level 2 Star Monster.
[Gagura] + [Third-Level Instant Acceleration Device] + [Cosmic Meteorite Gold] + [Nightmare Ape]
Consumes 230,000 Synthesis Points to create Nightmare Level 2 Star Monster.
The Greedy Snake, having absorbed a significant amount of Earth Core Energy Crystals, had already advanced to Nightmare Level 2 Star.
Gatanjee’er, infused with a Dark Energy Crystal and regularly replenished with Destruction Energy by Qin Shou, had also broken through.
With millions of Earth Core Energy Crystals consumed, Brother Monkey and Little Vajra had effortlessly ascended to Nightmare Level 2 Star as well.
The Greedy Snake, Gatanjee’er, Brother Monkey, Little Vajra, Hillbagon, Eye Q, Galatron, and Gagura.
Eight Nightmare Level 2 Star Synthetic Monsters against thirteen Nightmare Level 3 Star Monster Puppets—it wasn’t totally hopeless.
Moreover, as pure "Summoners," Demon Eye Star People had many Achilles’ heels that Qin Shou could exploit in countless ways.
