'Light cotton puff

This is a unique plant that can survive by moving through the air utilizing light mana. It literally feeds and floats on the light mana in the atmosphere, being able to grow and leave seeds when it does manage to halt temporarily.

The cotton that it is made of is extremely useful when crafting illusive silks or making other forms of illusory clothing. Due to this there are many races that find high value in it and will trade or pay high prices. Walker was enjoying the information he was gaining about the plants that seemed to survive by floating on literal rays of light. These cotton puffs had various uses that all could be brought back to Genesis. He also understood that taking a few would not limit or cause any issues since it was a plant that already existed within the greater elemental planes and was very prevalent here.

'White light grass

This grass is a unique grass that only holds light mana within. It is known for swaying in tune with the flow of light mana allowing it to be a sign of changes within the flow of light mana. There are some classes or prophets or seers that will watch the white light grasses for future predictions about the growth in density and purity of light mana in certain areas.

Most often, the grass can be used to make nests or bedding for certain monsters that would benefit from absorbing the light mana released when the grass is picked…'

The white grasses everywhere here were useful too but mostly for the knowledge about how they could be used by other monsters or even brought and harvested by tamers that were helping specific tamed monsters grow. This was also a grass that was clearly common within the greater light elemental plane too though.

"Look, there are even birds too." Alice had spotted the white birds flying in groups of five. She was keeping herself very controlled but as she had spoken the light mana had moved around her a bit more densely than what it had been before. She noticed this and looked a little frustrated.

Although, this was just the fact that the light mana here was much more prevalent, Alice was still going to be unhappy about it. She has worked very hard to be able to control the light mana as it would move around her. The fact that it was causing her to focus even more on it was frustrating.

'White starling

This small bird is known for being in groups of up to twenty. They utilize light mana to reflect off of their feathers so that they can blind small insect monster prey or even to blend in to the brighter lights around. Both words for predatorial reasons and elusive strategies when running from predators.

Their feathers can be used to make blinding arrows that are popular wit-'

"I am going to try and get some of those feathers." Gil didn't even let Walker finish explaining the all around appraisal that he had just done. He was sold the moment that he could make an arrow out of the feather from the white starlings. If they could make blinding arrows then they would be ideal for using as a support arrow by archers that would hold back and watch over their fighting party.

This was also a good strategy for sharp shooters. Many would not take on a role where they would attack and leave their prey behind. They would most likely work as a support for those that were well ahead of them fighting face to face. Meaning that the vantage point they took as sharpshooters also let them lead and explain the overall terrain and dangers within an area. Something that Gil had done before and knew was a valuable set of skills to have for a small soldier group or even for a larger army.

"We can look for the feathers but I would like Walker to keep explaining some of the items we can see. There are shells over there. That would mean a beach or water but that can't be." Su was staying focused and keeping everyone on task. They had entered this elemental plane with the approval of its guardian. They had also been told they could meet a new young race. Besides this, they were also learning a slew of new information about an unexplored land, so they should keep learning.

'Blue snail shell

As the blue light snail gets older, its outer shell becomes white and falls off. This leaves a weak brittle shell that can be ground up and used to fertilize light affinity herbs. Where the shells fall always become a vibrant and healthy area for light affinity plants to grow. This is also the same area where the young blue light snail eggs will be laid to continue the cycle.

While the shell can't be used for much else it is often used as a decorative object due to the unique white lines and patterns on the shell…'

It was not the item with extreme value as others they might find. However, it had a good use and the fact that the life cycle of the blue light snail revolve around having the shell be left behind and nourish the land was also unique. It would allow for the greenhouses within Genesis to focused on some light herbs as a way to help grow and fertilize the plants while also managing to procure another monster that could be farmed for food or other means within Genesis.

While small, it was something good to record down later and pass on to those who would be venture in to the light elements alone. They might be able to trade or gain more knowledge about how the races within the greater light elemental planes utilized monsters like the blue light snail or if they traded and used their shells for other things.

The party was enjoying the scenery but did begin to move. Midnight was walking proudly and had even switched back to her dragonkin form to walk with everyone. She did not feel intense danger here and was actually imagining that the race they met might be more peaceful and successful than what other races might be. This elemental plane was very peaceful and valuable compared to what they had expected or been in after all.

On Walker's end, he noticed that Onyx was entirely focused on absorbing and consuming even more light mana. This place had light mana unlike the world so this would be a great boost to his growth which had slowed recently. Mostly because his focus had been on helping those of his race grow and not necessarily himself unless it came to skills.

"I think we might actually be closer to the race that we need to meet than what we expected." Ahead of them were larger white mounds. Actually, they looked like hills of white clay shaped and dried in to domes used as huts or homes potentially.

While they were very primitive in the sense that they were not crafted with wood or high skills, they were safe homes that could be able to fit a few people in them. Meaning that whoever or whatever had created them must be the intelligent young race that the party had come to meet.

As the party near, they saw a skinny white figure wrapped in some larger off white colored leaves. To call them just skin and bones would be an understatement. It was simpler to call them gangly creatures with sharpened claws and too many teeth.

"That's…"

'Light stalker

This monster is known for sneaking in to villages of light affinity races and destroying them entirely. They will then feed on them and attempt to hide when they see others approaching. They are considered ideal assassins in terms of the light elemental planes and should be taken seriously.

Their thin and small size allows them to move very quickly and attack at a longer range than what many expect. Their sharper claws and teeth utilize the destructive aspects of light mana to cut through various defenses. They also have a habit of cloaking their body in reflective light mana that makes them harder to hit with ranged attacks…'

"That is a monster that has most likely killed the entire village here." Walker had already changed the form of the eternal codex in to a spear. He was going to throw one attack and defeat the monster he had seen. That was until a screeching sound came from its mouth and several more appeared from the huts. This was not just one, they had come together and consumed the entire village.
