"You might need more than just a spear." Gil was also drawing back multiple arrows to shoot a triple shot since he knew very well that these monsters were going to be quicker than average. Just the size of the light stalkers was enough to understand that they would have higher agility than the average monster the party faced.

Add on the fact that they are also predators of more intelligent races, well, they would be used to fighting those with unique skills or more developed fighting style meaning that they could actually be somewhat of a threat to the party if the party was not careful.

This didn't mean that they were too strong for the party though. They had fought large and small monsters. They had even fought races of various sizes. They would not doubt their skills and strength in fighting the monsters now dashing toward them with sharp claws prepared to slash through them using destructive light mana.

"Alice, it seems that they are abusing the light mana you use for healing and safety, want to change that?" Su asked the calm question before Alice looked angry and started to sing a little rougher than normally.

Usually she focused on buffing and allowing the light to help others. This time she sang a song of abuse and betrayal. Lessons of evil that had come from the survivors of abused races. It would be foolish to believe that those who healed those who had been harmed that she did not listen to their woes and shape her violent and brutal skills toward that form of song.

Alice put emotions and belief behind her songs. Meaning that the larger spears of light she had formed by singing with a harsher tone and the pained experiences of others behind it were not only devastating. The spears were forcefully stealing the light mana from these monsters as well as she sent them to pierce their now weakened defenses.

Most missed due to their darts to the side or flopping on the ground but those that were struck by the larger light spears fell dead in seconds as the violent light mana rampaged through their bodies. Alice didn't continuously use this song though. Making the mana denser and more physical caused her to expend a lot more mana and it was not as renewable as she could with buffing skills that were there as support.

The point had been made though. Alice had removed a lot of strength from the light stalkers before they got close. Even more of their strength had faded as Gil had already shot his arrows leaving several with limps. The arrows in their ankles only slowed them down since it appeared the light stalkers were using their clawed hands to propel themselves forward as well.

The next moment, Onyx aand Midnight released a breath of light mana attacks at them too. They had easily worked together since Onyx knew very well he could condense the light mana within himself and replicate what midnight could do with her dragon breath. While not a dragon breath, it was potent and slowed, if not finished, multiple light stalkers leaving only very few to slam in to the double shields that Su had slammed down in front of them.

Perfectly allowing for Walker and Remey to leap over Su's head and smash or pierce the remaining light stalkers with fist and spear.

The silence remaining was just a reminder that before the party had gotten here, the light stalkers had dealt with the intelligent races living here. The guardian dragon certainly knew that this was an event happening naturally and did not interfere. However, since the dragon had allowed the party within, it seemed that it would not frown upon them for defeating a dangerous monster that hunted the young race here either.

"I am not happy to see that we might have more trouble finding this young race, but I can at least learn from the village what kind of race they are." Walker took a deep breath as he collected the bodies of these light stalkers. If they managed to find the race, no, when they managed to find the race who lived within this plane he would leave these bodies to them.

It would be a sign of their survival and also an opportunity to show that the party would prefer to be part of the races' growth.

"We can also make sure there are no more of these things where we go too." Remey kicked the body of one light stalker, there was a white blood on its claws proving that it had been active in killing whatever lived within this village. She did not like that they had managed to kill a whole village and that these monsters would specifically infiltrate and kill an entire village normally.

"Let's search to see if there is anything here other than monsters. If we find another light stalker just shout out and deal with it quickly." The party split up and searched the white minds that had been made in to huts. It still seemed more like clay than what other earth would be but the knowledge in building might just be too minor right now. For a young race, this was still a good start.

What really was unnerving was the fact that there were no bodies. Nothing to prove that these light stalkers had actually finished off a huge number of villagers here. It made the party feel that some had escaped. Or at least that was what they hoped had happened.

"I have something here!" Gil shouted out as he broke open and already damaged the hut doorway. He could tell that it had been damaged in a fight proving that there had in fact been some of whatever race was here.

When Walker jogged over from his own searching he saw a dead light stalker and what seemed to be a sharped branch stabbed in to its head. Wheoever had fought it was not necessarily a warrior but had done amazingly well. There were white blood drops all on the ground proving that the fight had not been one sided but the victor was clear.

"I think they fled and we should start tracking them. They might need healing and other help." This was exactly the thought that came to Walker's mind as well. He knew that Gil and Midnight were the perfect pair to start tracking them and the rest of the party should push forward with them.

It only took a nod for Gil to know that Walker agreed and they were off. The others had come too since Gil had found something and they fell right in line. "There might be more light stalkers targeting them too. If we can track them, so can a predator." The reminder from Gil was nothing positive. It was a reminder that they might be finding a worse seven than they hoped.

"There are smaller rounder footprints, so I would say they are the race we are searching for. I doubt golem but maybe some sort of plant like life?" Gil tried to guess the form that the race took so they would be better able to spot them, but that was a hard guess to make. This race still have twenty years to wait for the elemental plane they were in to be safe enough to even join the greater light elemental plane. Meaning that it might change a bit before the race makes it there.

"They are somewhat like plants, actually, it looks like they are like deer with those cotton plants growing on their antlers." Su seemed to be contemplating a better name for them as she drew everyone's attention.

The white furred figures were similar to demi-humans and might be able to seamlessly blend in. Their faces were more like deer and stags, their antlers holding the cotton plants that floated everywhere. They all seemed to have a lot of light mana attracted to them before that too which was most likely the reason they carried the cotton puffs.

However, the white blood on the grasses meant that the party had not caught up to them because they were not running faster. They caught up because people were injured and needed help. Now they had to make sure they approached properly.

This race might not know there is a guardian watching over them. If they do though, then the party should be able to make contact more easily. But trusting that it would be the case without caution would be foolish.. Even if they did know, they had just been attacked by a dangerous group of monsters. They would not easily trust anyone regardless of their standing at this very moment.

"Let's take this slowly. Alice, you and I will work together on larger healing skills too."
