Chapter 2691. Healed Up
CHAPTER 2691: 2691. HEALED UP
The white stag race did not seem as weak as what the party expected. Su and Alice had the closest look other than Walker and they could tell this race of light affinity beings were shockingly tough.
Normally tough would be more associated with earth affinity beings. Right now though, it was closer to say that the white stag race had a better natural defense than others with earth affinity. It was odd to consider it that way but it just seemed to be the case.
The injuries that they were seeing all stopped at the bones. It was a good thing since healing was easier that way without needing to brace every injury. Then again there was also the fact that the light stalkers were a piercing attack focused predator. Their sharp teeth and claws were reinforced with light mana to work like devastating needles.
It could also be the fact that if the white stag race is anything like the deer species of monster within the world, they were always prey until they became more intelligent. After that, they grew and adapted to survive while maintaining the tougher traits that they had when they were less intelligent.
If this was the case then it would also explain what Walker could sense that the light mana was within their bodies more deeply. Not in the sense that they did not store light mana with all of their body, but the fact that the mana within their bodies seemed to move along their bones more so than the other ways it could flow.
While enlightening, it was not the point. The point that Walker was thinking about was that because they had so much mana stored deeply within their bodies, that they were naturally healing faster. The light mana was working as if it was both a defensive and natural healing effect on their bodies. They were not focused on attacking or fighting, but defending themselves.
Meaning that the entire white stag race would naturally heal faster and be a more defensive race overall. Potentially meaning they could do very well once trained as guardians of cities, villages, and even traveling merchants.
The leader was shocked when she saw Remey making potions with fire. They had not seen or been around other manas but knew of them since they had been told by odd travelers. While Walker overheard this mumbling about other manas, he began to realize that there might be a chance that the dragon guarding them had used light magic illusions to interact with them.
If this was the case, then the races would be able to learn about the greater elemental plane and even all the elemental planes when they were eventually mixed with them. Further proving that some of the guardians watching over these fledgling elemental planes had more potential to grow closer to the other races and their specific greater elemental plane than others would.
It also meant that Walker’s party had a better chance to form a better bond with them now than they would have had if the dragon continued on. But that was another thought for later since Walker and the others had mostly stabilized the injured.
There were some who could not be moved right away and that was simply due to their bodies not being able to handle more healing without lasting injuries. They needed more nutrients and a slower healing process for some of the more advanced wounds. No matter how talented Alice was, she could not heal entire limbs like it was nothing. The entire process would bring her to exhaustion and the patient to death in this case.
"Gil, Midnight, can you two start making your way back to their village so we can work on getting them home? I will do what I can to build them a better defensive wall when we get there." Walker looked around and realized he could not easily use wind magic to float the injured back so he would need to use materials from what he had in his high dimensional storage. However, that was easily done with the fact he had an entire carriage saved within.
While seemingly foolish at times, Walker and the party had to purchase a few for their family members to use here and there. They had different things stored at the mansion while they also had different things that might need to go back and forth to their businesses. It was also useful to have in case they had to send groups to do this or that. As leaders, they had been in charge of quite a few different groups who they had needed to send to handle something or another, giving them a cart to make things easier was also a bonus.
"You just made that out of nothing?" The leader had lowered the sharpened bone knife that she had been using and moved to speak to Walker properly. She had watched him and the other carefully while speaking to the others who were less injured or healed already. It appeared that she had decided to trust the party now.
"Other than the main manas, water, fire, earth, wind, dark, and light there is space, time, life, and death manas too. Everyone is in contact with life, death, space, and time manas to some degree since they make up the very essence of everything, from what I understand. I have learned to use space mana to help me store items separately. I can do a few other things with it but it is tough to do so unless I use a lot more effort and have the right knowledge. This carriage might not be from your light elemental plane but it can be used without harming any of you and I can use mana to move it."
The white stag leader stood there blinking trying to wrap her mind around what Walker had adjusted said. It was by no means a simple statement to say what manas made up the very foundation of everything but also was hard to imagine so much existed outside of what they knew as their home and the place where their village existed.
"It’s a lot to take in but I promise you that one day you and your people will be able to see so much more than what you can even imagine. Whether or not you do it with Genesis as an ally is up to all of you. No one would stop you from seeing what existence has to offer." Walker was careful to make sure that the entire village was safely traveling and the rest of the party was in place to protect them.
No one had spotted or seen any other monsters other than a few of the social ones floating on beams of light. It was ideal since there was not a single threat that they needed to fight in front of the white stag race. It was even better since Walker had to think about how he would help them secure their defense.
The light stalkers had easily been able to get in to the village since it was not necessarily designed to be held down against threats. It meant that either the white stag race had moved their village before or they were not expecting to be attacked like this. Whether it was one or the other even if Walker was to teach them a little about defending themselves and their home it would go a long way.
The best part was that Su would be able to share the most with them. She was a focus on defending, guardian, and even city defenses. She had specifically worked with the guards to make an elite group who had learned directly from her. They all now used shields with their natural skill allowing them to become the best guards that they could be. On top of this, she had trained enough of them that she could easily teach others.
This was also focused on the fact that they and Su specifically could use light mana to defend others. So, the white stage race would be able to use the same skills or at least a few would be able to keep records of them and how to train them to perfection. Further giving them a path to protecting their people in the future.
"I know a lot of things are weighing on your mind, but can you tell me what else you and your people need? I might be able to leave a lot with you to help all of you grow even stronger." Walker carefully put the idea out there to the white stage leader. The more they could do, the better. These people had just been attacked and giving a little more wouldn’t put any strain on the party in any way.
