Throughout the bombing, the Heize Werewolves made no response. From high above, no movement from the Heize Werewolves could be seen, as if the forest held no defenders at all.

After completing their bombing mission, the bombers climbed and turned, entering the route back to the Eternal Domain.

The battlefield returned to silence, but this quiet didn’t last long.

A dense rumbling and long whistles arose from the Eternal Domain’s artillery positions. Shells of various sizes and types, following different trajectories, soared over the Blackwater District.

Upon landing in the jungle on the opposing side, the explosions blanketed the entire forest edge.

Although these explosions were far less intense than those from the Beak Eagle bombers, their density covered all areas the aerial bombs had missed.

Moreover, unlike the Beak Eagle bombers, which had to return after dropping their payload, the Eternal Domain’s artillery bombardment was relentless and continuous.

Yan Xing, flying in the sky, finally saw the Heize Werewolf defenders. These Werewolves, who had intended to fight a decisive battle in this region against the Eternal Domain, lost all will to fight after being bombarded by the aircraft and artillery.

Even the normally fearless Werewolves suffered a complete collapse in morale when faced with an enemy that could easily annihilate them, without them even knowing where the attacks originated.

Neither Werewolf Warriors nor Werewolf Beast Tamers dared to remain in the forest, now riddled with explosions.

They fled in panic.

The defensive line Clan Leader Ironhead believed could hold for a year was surrendered to the enemy in less than twenty minutes.

The Eternal Domain’s bombardment continued, proceeding with successive advancing barrages that extended its reach.

Chui Chui’s preset smoke bombs in the safe corridors detonated on schedule, their colored smoke marking the path for the Eternal Domain’s advancing ground troops.

The time for the general assault had come.

Six armored all-terrain vehicles took the lead, charging from the offensive positions into the Blackwater District, with over a dozen Werewolf soldiers clinging to their exteriors.

Following the all-terrain vehicles was a flock of Carnivorous Birds, responsible for verifying the road’s passability and establishing a "beachhead."

Fifty meters behind the all-terrain vehicles, infantrymen rushed from their shelters at the offensive positions, charging down the scouted road towards Heize City.

A swarm of Poison Flies flew over the Blackwater District.

The Eternal Domain’s main force entered the Heize region so smoothly that it surprised Yan Xing himself.

It could only be said that the Heize Werewolves’ understanding of warfare remained in the tribal era, while the Eternal Domain had been preparing for this war for months.

The volunteer soldiers from the Southern Camp helped the artillerymen dismantle the cannons, carrying the components and advancing with the infantry.

Thanks to a detailed battle plan and Chui Chui’s on-site coordination, the Eternal Domain’s ground troops experienced no chaos despite the narrow corridors.

The entire passage through the Blackwater District was orderly. All troops moved forward immediately after passing, not hindering those behind them.

The Great Army moved as one entity.

The vanguard closely followed the retreating Heize Werewolves, not giving them a chance to regroup, and drove them all the way into Heize City.

A few hours later, the Eternal Domain’s lead troops had surrounded Heize City from the east, south, and west.

Responsible for the on-site command of these three forces were Steelteeth, Olaf, and Eddie respectively.

Donna led the special forces unit, lying in ambush north of Heize City in the outer region of the Blackwater District.

Encircle three and leave one.

Should the Blackwater Werewolves dare to abandon Heize City and flee north, Donna, guarding key passages, would ensure the Blackwater District became their graveyard.

By evening, all of the Eternal Domain’s assaulting forces had arrived at the outskirts of Blackwater City. Artillery pieces were moved into position, and with Chui Chui designating targets, they began preliminary aiming.

Yan Xing, leading the Eternal Domain Air Force, repeatedly and brazenly swept over Blackwater City in formations, provocatively taunting the defenders within.
