Merchant From Earth in the Magical World

CHAPTER 376: CHAPTER 330: THE JUSTICE OF THE MISSILE_1
Yan Xing, wielding the Sword of Glory, extended his wings and hovered in the air.
The eastern sky revealed the pale light of pre-dawn, and under the starlight, seven enormous figures rapidly approached.
The roaring grew louder and louder.
Heize City was blanketed with flames, guiding the bombers in their flight path.
Standing amidst the ruins, the three-headed Werewolf faced Yan Xing. He was not in a hurry to attack, his eyes showing lucidity.
"I’m surprised by your strength... your personal power and that of your army."
"Ironhead?" Yan Xing recognized Ironhead’s voice. "I didn’t expect it was you. The power you’ve gained from your forced sacrifice must mean you won’t live long. It’s not too late for you to surrender now. I have no intention of exterminating you all."
The aerial units and the soldiers who had fired their rockets retreated on Yan Xing’s orders.
The bombs, once dropped, would not discriminate between friend and foe.
Yan Xing clung to the final hope of persuading Ironhead to surrender. The losses in this civil war were all his own.
Ironhead chuckled. "Today, either you die, or I perish. After migrating into the Thunderous Swamp so long ago, the Werewolves have only just begun to recover their vitality. Only by remaining in the swamp and not intervening in the outside world’s strife can the Werewolves continue to endure. If you were to rule the Werewolves, you would inevitably bring the risk of extinction to our race. We Werewolves don’t have the strength or numbers to contend with Humans, Orcs, or Elves for the Wildwind Highlands. I will never let the Werewolves disappear because of you... Even if it costs me my life, I will not allow it!"
Yan Xing had not expected Ironhead to oppose him for such reasons.
True! The Werewolves had nearly gone extinct after leaving the wilderness, barely surviving only after retreating into the swamp. After so many years of reproduction and adapting to the swamp, they had finally regained some vitality. But compared to their heyday, it was still insignificant. Major powers, in their struggles, had the foundations and population numbers to afford mistakes and failures. But the Werewolves couldn’t afford to fail. One loss could mean the end of their race. Ironhead could see that Eternal Domain possessed such wealth; Yan Xing would certainly not be content to remain confined to the Thunderous Swamp. Once the Werewolves were swept into conflicts extending beyond the Thunderous Swamp, their fate would no longer be in their own hands.
Yan Xing chuckled, shook his head, and said, "I don’t know if you’re saying all this because you’re foolish... or because you’re merely making excuses for your unwillingness to acknowledge me as king. Foolishness likely plays a larger part. You’ve stayed in the swamp too long, seeing only that small piece of the sky between the branches, forgetting just how vast the plains where the Werewolves once roamed were. And you’re unaware of what the outside world has become. I shouldn’t be telling you this, nor do I have time to correct your outdated and stubborn views. If you were just unwilling to lose your current power, I might still accept you. But since you harbor such thoughts, your demise would be best for the Werewolf Race. I... will no longer accept your surrender."
Ironhead roared loudly, "Then let’s fight!"
Yan Xing released a Light Shield around himself. He planned to trap Ironhead within the bombing zone when the bombardment began.
At this moment, in his heart, this war was no longer merely a struggle for the transition of power among the Swamp Werewolves. It was a purge of the mindset that was content with the status quo, merely wanting to eke out an existence in the swamp. The Werewolves could consider the swamp their home, but they must possess the courage to venture out, to let their footsteps cover the world. If the Werewolves didn’t even dare to leave the swamp, then their so-called bravery was nothing but cowardice. They would inevitably perish along with the swamp one day. He would use this war to cleanse the Werewolves, to clear the obstacles for their rise.
Air currents began to swirl.
A massive amount of Air Magic Elemental was drawn into the electric field Yan Xing had generated. The purple hue within the field deepened from pale to a dark, rich shade.
Even Yan Xing’s Angel wings became coated in highly concentrated electrical energy, an outer layer of crystallized electricity forming upon them.
Electric arcs leaped chaotically within the field, causing various electrical phenomena within a thirty-meter radius.
Gradually, Yan Xing’s body began to blur.
He vibrated at a high frequency, his form splitting into several overlapping images.
In an instant, brilliant electric light flared.
Yan Xing instantly manifested four phantoms, which surrounded the three-headed, six-armed Ironhead from four different angles.
Chui Chui once again entered its frenzied computational mode.
In terms of absolute energy values, Yan Xing’s current Magic Power was barely at the peak of the Basic Level, perhaps early Intermediate Level. It was far from matching Ironhead, who had obtained Magic Power equivalent to the Master Level through sacrifice.
To restrain Ironhead, Yan Xing had to rely on meticulous calculation for every bit of Magic Power he used, amplifying its effectiveness severalfold, tenfold, or even dozens of times over.
If his opponent were truly a legitimate Master Level hero, Yan Xing might not have dared such a maneuver.
Ironhead possessed power that was incongruent with his actual capabilities and surely couldn’t wield it effectively; otherwise, his Teleportation Skill wouldn’t have been deciphered by Chui Chui so easily.
With this disparity, Yan Xing, possessing a trump card in Chui Chui, unleashed his ultimate move.
At this moment, Chui Chui executed a newly mastered spatial Spell, using voltage to mark coordinates in the surrounding space. These marks were then used to locate four stable spatial anchor points. Finally, with its powerful computational capacity, it caused the spatial anchor points to oscillate between states of merging and separation. This allowed Yan Xing to exist simultaneously in four different spatial positions.
A novice Mage just learning spatial Spells would never dare attempt such a dangerous application. Even a seasoned spatial Mage would likely baulk at the risk of their body being severed by spatial distortions due to an anchor point miscalculation.
Chui Chui’s strength lay in its massive data processing capacity and the accuracy of its calculations and verifications.
