Mini World Game Console
Chapter 610 611 Have You Been Sterilized? [Second Update]
The Dark Side of the Moon, League of Legends Headquarters.
The League of Legends is a wondrous organization formed by the amalgamation of all official Supernatural Organizations in the real world. Arising from the world's understanding of these Supernatural Organizations and the promotional strategies they employed, the public image of these organizations had their 'independence,' 'nationality,' and 'ethnicity' forcibly erased. In simple terms, because everyone believed the Supernatural Organizations depicted in advertisements were hero organizations, the profession of a Transcendent became that of a hero.
This is quite normal, like how instant beef noodles on The Dark Side of the Moon really would have lots of beef, or how McDonald's gigantic burgers would be ridiculously large—after all, in dreams, one must offer some fantasies.
After analysis and calculations, nearly all Angel Envoys aspiring to seize the Silver Moon Crystal knew that the next Silver Moon Crystal would appear at the League of Legends Headquarters.
Or rather, someone deduced that the next Silver Moon Crystal would appear there, and then moved the League of Legends Headquarters to this place...
The kind of person who could do this naturally had unrestricted access to the League of Legends.
At this moment, at the top of the skyscraper of the League of Legends Headquarters, three teams were confronting each other.
"Mirand, you still haven't managed to get Angel Zack to act for you?" said a small girl dressed in a Flourishing Sakura kimono with a chuckle, as she patted the backside of the curvaceous, red-haired girl beside her. "Just the few of you, can you stop my sister?"
It took Sakura Sayaka several days, but she finally established a master-servant relationship with her sister in the dream, Flourishing Sakura's Fourth Stage Expert Sakura Kyoko, the dreamworld's superhero, 'Red Witch.'
Despite being annoyed by her sister's supermodel physique, her sister's Combat Power wasn't for show and was enough to suppress all Angel Envoys of the Moon God—except for some blue-haired bastard.
"Sakura Sayaka," Miss Mirand said with a grim face, "your sister is strong, but can she withstand a Miracle? Can she withstand five Miracles?"
In the Watchers, there wasn't a single Fourth-Tier Rank Transcendent, only a borderline Angel Zack, who transformed into the superhero 'Seraph' in dreams. However, despite the Watchers desperately playing the role of the League of Legends' character labels recently, they still hadn't managed to reach the threshold to have 'Seraph' fight for them.
But they weren't scared at all. The Miracles that refreshed once every Moon Phase were their ultimate trump card. Others could only possess one Miracle, and it was entirely random, but these five Angel Envoys could have five Miracles. As long as their luck wasn't catastrophically bad, the Miracles they collectively possessed were enough to handle any situation.
"Miracles aren't omnipotent." On the other side, the Russian blonde girl who had partnered with the dream warrior 'Bear Warrior' laughed. "Placing your hopes on the deity's blessings, is this what you Watchers mean by 'Never curry favor with the Moon God'?"
Miss Mirand's face darkened. They originally intended to establish an absolute advantage early on by sheer numbers, but dragging out the time had allowed these unaffiliated stragglers a chance to tap into high-end combat power...
"Never curry favor with the Moon God," she said sternly. "We Watchers have long foreseen this trial and were aware of the enormous dangers it holds. If you try to please the Moon God by committing murder, you will bring disaster to the world..."
"Well said. Then why didn't you Watchers disclose this information to other countries earlier?" Sakura Sayaka sneered. "What do you mean by 'Never curry favor with the Moon God'? You're just afraid we'll attack you!"
The Russian blonde girl also said, "If you withdraw voluntarily, we won't have to take action against you."
Miss Mirand shut her mouth, understanding that there was no room for negotiation between them.
The principle of 'Never curry favor with the Moon God' was something they intended to establish once they had secured an absolute advantage, then use it to constrain others—my fist is bigger than yours, so you have to listen to whatever I say. But now, they hadn't achieved an absolute advantage and were still trying to constrain others, which was completely laughable. Moreover, because the Watchers concealed trial information to secure victory, they were clearly not in the right, and it was perfectly normal for others to distrust their words.
Besides, what they were competing for was a chance for Divine Enthronement.
From the outset, there was no fertile ground for trust to grow.
Only with blood could they demonstrate the might of the Watchers!
Outside and inside the League of Legends Headquarters, all quieted down, waiting for the Moon Phase to change.
Dark currents were surging within everyone; everyone was preparing their Spells, and everyone was waiting for the moment a Miracle refreshed.
Control divine power!
Change everything!
Let your desires be fulfilled!
Since entering The Dark Side of the Moon, the seeds of the killing desire implanted in the hearts of the Angel Envoys, after five days of growth, had already taken deep root in places they were unaware of, buried deep within every fragment of their hearts!
Suddenly, a silver-white column of light pierced through heaven and earth!
Simultaneously, a message silently fell into the heart of every Angel Envoy:
「Under the influence of the Silver Moon Crystal's aura, completely annihilating other Angel Envoys will summon a new Silver Moon Crystal.」
Complete annihilation... so, even after the opponent enters the Dream Death State, you still have to deliver a finishing blow? But as long as you deliver that finishing blow, a new Silver Moon Crystal can be summoned on the spot?
The seeds of the desire to kill, after five days of struggle and the thirst for Divine Enthronement, were already struggling to burst forth from the soil. Tempted by this dew-like desire, they rapidly sprouted and grew into a towering tree, bloodied and withered!
Just as this fight to the death was about to begin, a loud and clear voice echoed through the night sky—
"I am not targeting any one of you."
"I mean, all of you are trash."
Brilliant Moonlight fell ruthlessly, like a sharp sword piercing all buildings. Structures disintegrated, the earth upheaved, and Living Beings were driven into the ground, with numerous radiances refracted and danced within.
BOOM!
Piercing bones, tearing flesh!
The Angel Envoys, bubbling with the desire to kill, suddenly calmed down. The severe injuries they sustained jolted them out of their frenzied killing state!
And when the silver-white column of light vanished, and that annoying blue-haired figure once again obtained the Silver Moon Crystal, they realized that the aura of the Silver Moon Crystal had quietly dissipated.
The intention they had just conceived—to use killing to obtain a new Silver Moon Crystal—was instantly extinguished in its nascent state. Killing only had value under the influence of the Silver Moon Crystal's aura!
Crushed by the Moonlight, Mirand, thrown into disarray, looked at the blue-haired girl in front of her, gritted her teeth and said as she struggled to her feet, "Blue Witch... you are courting death!"
"Think about your past deeds!" Thanks to her sister's protection, Sakura Sayaka was not much harmed. She raised her fist and shouted loudly, "There is no place for you here anymore! Sister, get her!"
"You actually destroyed this place!"
"We will never allow you to achieve Divine Enthronement!"
Watching the group of shouting Angel Envoys and Heroes, Luna secretly gulped, blinking, feeling somewhat frightened.
She had been raised by Little Jade since she was young and had never experienced being watched by so many humans...
However...
Luna licked her lips, raised her head, and said with pride,
"First, my name is Luna, not the Blue Witch!"
"Second, so what!"
BOOM!
The Angel Envoys, harboring long-standing grievances, unleashed a Spellstorm, unable to contain their fury. Everyone knew that Luna possessed a dozen Silver Moon Crystals, and everyone knew that there was hardly a chance to defeat Luna in single combat!
For profit, for revenge, for the future... The murderous intent they could not vent was finally all focused on this one target!
Luna bit her lower lip and looked back at those who were chasing her, suddenly feeling very wronged.
Like a torrential rain, the Spellstorm came. She activated her second Teleport, her heart pounding fiercely.
She really didn't want to talk like that; she didn't want to talk to strangers at all. She just wanted to talk to Pet Leash... But to focus everyone's Resentment on her, she had to speak that way.
Targeted by three Miracles, she activated her third Teleport to dodge, struggling to catch her breath.
She didn't want to steal the Silver Moon Crystals, nor did she want to use such powerful moves to destroy buildings or hurt these people; she just wanted to be taken care of at home by Pet Leash... But if she didn't grab the Silver Moon Crystals, a massive brawl would ensue, many people would die, and then they might never be able to leave this cage.
The red-haired woman with the fake breasts rushed up in pursuit, attacking. Luna activated her fourth Teleport, tears starting to flow from the pain in her eyes.
She didn't want to fight; she had never harmed a bird or fish since she was young, and Little Jade never made her hunt. She just wanted to sleep lazily... But if she didn't fight, everyone might die.
Hidden Angel Envoys in the buildings around her suddenly attacked. She activated her fifth Teleport, feeling a fiery pain in her organs.
She was afraid of pain! Super afraid! When Little Jade took her for an injection, she was angry for several days, only calming down after Little Jade treated her to canned fish!
Why do I have to be disliked by these strangers? Why do I have to snatch these Silver Moon Crystals that neither make a sound nor can be used to sharpen my claws? Why do I have to fight these humans? Why do I have to endure this pain?
After teleporting numerous times, she finally escaped her pursuers and hid in the Shadow, vomiting blood.
She waited for a while before her body began to rapidly recover, a pervasive itch emanating from her bones and flesh as they mended.
「When she got home, the house was pitch dark; it seemed Moon Words was asleep, and it was Pet Leash who opened the door.」
Seeing him, Luna finally found an outlet for her grievances!
It was him! It must all be his fault! If you weren't here, it wouldn't matter to me if everyone here died!
Seeing Luna bathed in blood, Ren Suo was slightly taken aback. He ushered her in, immediately locked the door, and after a moment of contemplation, said, "Actually, my Healing skills are pretty good..."
Luna pouted and snapped at him, "None of this cat's business!"
Sensing Luna's bad mood, Ren Suo patiently said, "It seems like you're not feeling very well..."
Isn't it all because I have to steal the Silver Moon Crystals to save you and get us out! Luna bit her lower lip and snapped again, "And none of *your* business either!"
Luna's grievances echoed: It hurts... I'm so tired... This is so annoying... I hate this world... I want to escape... I want to be petted... I want to purr...
Ren Suo hesitated—what a strange wish. Wanting someone to pat her head when she was feeling wronged was normal, but wanting to purr? What on earth was that about?
Yet, hearing her complaints and seeing her covered in blood, Ren Suo knew she had been through a serious battle and must be under a lot of pressure. He reached out and gently touched Luna's blue hair, saying, "If there's anything I can help with, just let me know."
Touched by Ren Suo, Luna unconsciously started to purr—a long, soft, quivering sound, not harsh at all, but very cute.
Hearing Ren Suo's words of comfort, Luna huffed.
What can you help me with? Can you fight for me? Can you take a beating for me? Can you be hated for me? You can't do anything...
Ren Suo was taken aback for a moment, then chuckled bitterly.
He really couldn't help at all. Saying such things was just lip service, easy for someone not suffering the pain. He was no longer just a Player sitting in front of the TV; he couldn't intervene in Luna's Destiny, yet he still acted as a Weaver of Fate, bestowing blessings upon Luna from a Player's perspective. Luna resented her Destiny, and Ren Suo was powerless to change it.
Perhaps other game characters also resented their Destinies: Ren Han, burdened with a bloodline curse; the Magicians who continuously used self-harm Spells; the adventurers who were resurrected from the dead; Young Master Mu and Xiao Suo, whose game records failed to upload... and Luna, who genuinely didn't want to fight. But apart from Luna, Ren Suo actually hadn't explored the thoughts of others in their 'game progress,' so he didn't know if they resented their Destiny... Although he didn't know their thoughts after they 'cleared' the game and learned the truth, they most likely resented Destiny for how it treated them before that point.
Guilt? Regret? No, not at all. It's not like those things wouldn't happen if Ren Suo stopped playing the game; they just wouldn't necessarily happen to *them*. If choosing who becomes 'game characters' is a sin, then Ren Suo was prepared to bear this sin. Having enjoyed so many benefits from the Mini-World Game Console, bearing its burdens was only normal. Though he sometimes complained about the Mini-World Game Console tricking him, unless it crossed his bottom line, he would mostly just accept it.
There is no such thing as a free lunch in this world, and if there were, it would definitely be a 'Maserati 5-Yuan Voucher' or a 'College Entrance Exam Full Score of 600 - 200 Yuan Reward Voucher.' Ren Suo was always grateful. He certainly didn't believe his play and rewards were justified (though he would complain). That's why he was so benevolent toward the game characters, feeling as if he had stolen the rewards that rightfully belonged to them—he was just grinding; the game characters were truly suffering.
So, looking at Luna in front of him, Ren Suo sincerely said, "I'm sorry. I know I can't help with anything. I just want you to know... there are people in this world who are willing to help you unconditionally."
Luna lifted her head, her eyes gleaming faintly in the darkness. She suddenly lunged into Ren Suo's arms, clutching his collar, and fiercely asked, "Really? Anything?"
"Anything!" Ren Suo asserted with conviction.
"Then have you been neutered?"
"...Uh?"
