Chapter 115 - 0115: Trouble at Longyin Martial Arts Hall_1
CHAPTER 115: CHAPTER 0115: TROUBLE AT LONGYIN MARTIAL ARTS HALL_1
Zhang Bin walked out of Liu Ruomei’s room in a huff.
He ran right into Liu Ruolan, who asked awkwardly, "Xiao Bin, did my sister drink that medicine?"
It was clear that after drinking some of the Spiritual Water, she had recovered a great deal.
"No, she just refuses to give it back to me," Zhang Bin said.
"Come out, little sister, and return the medicine to Xiao Bin right now," Liu Ruolan commanded in a tone that brooked no argument.
"Sis, it’s magical Jade Liquid, and it’s tremendously beneficial for my cultivation. Even brother-in-law isn’t making a fuss over it," Liu Ruomei trotted out, pouting.
"Xiao Bin is angry, didn’t you see?" Liu Ruolan whispered into Liu Ruomei’s ear.
He’s just trying to take advantage of me, and he’s only angry because I refused. Liu Ruomei muttered to herself, though she would never say it aloud. She didn’t want to wreck the marriage between Zhang Bin and her sister. This brother-in-law might be a bit lecherous, but he was capable and treated his little sister-in-law exceedingly well. There was no denying that, and she was quite satisfied with him. So, she also spoke in a hushed tone, "Sis, this Jade Liquid is really important to me. Why don’t you go and appease brother-in-law?"
"You..."
Having no other choice, Liu Ruolan went over to Zhang Bin, wrapped her arms around his neck, and cooed, "Husband, don’t be angry, alright? At worst, I’ll let you do as you please with me tonight?"
A look of surprise and joy immediately flashed across Zhang Bin’s face as he nodded eagerly.
"Husband, I really can’t take it anymore. Can I rest for a day? How about this? Tomorrow night, I’ll risk life and limb to keep you company?" Liu Ruolan had her ways.
Zhang Bin knew her body couldn’t take it, and he felt a pang of pity for her. He agreed with a wicked smile, "Then we’ll stay at Xinyue Residence tomorrow night."
"Mmm-hmm..." Liu Ruolan nodded obediently.
And so, the family returned to its former harmony, all wearing cheerful smiles.
Having cultivated the Pure Heart Mystique, Liu Ruomei was no longer affected by Liu Ruolan and naturally wouldn’t try to stop Zhang Bin and her sister from being affectionate. Of course, she also wouldn’t be thinking about men anymore, nor would she unwittingly tempt Zhang Bin again.
Zhang Bin didn’t stay at the villa that day. He played until it was nearly dark before reluctantly driving back home.
The following days were even more fulfilling for Zhang Bin. He was passionately in love with Liu Ruolan, continued his research on extraterrestrial medicine and testing materials, and, of course, did not neglect his cultivation.
Now, he would gather Qi in the forest in the morning and cultivate the Pure Heart Mystique at night using Spiritual Water and Gathering Qi Pills. Finally, he had accumulated enough True Qi to break through the 15th meridian, enhancing his Qi gathering ability once again. Using his Spiritual Energy was no longer as strained as before.
The two villas were now fully renovated. The factory was still under construction and would require more time to complete.
We should pick an auspicious day to move in, Zhang Bin muttered to himself with delight, gazing at the two stunning villas. My wonderful days with Xiao Fang are about to begin.
These days, Xiao Fang would blush whenever she saw Zhang Bin, which only made him itch with desire. His libido was too strong, and Liu Ruolan simply couldn’t satisfy him.
That afternoon, Zhang Bin, Zhang Lele, Father Zhang, and Mother Zhang were all busy with invitations for the housewarming banquet. While Father and Mother Zhang listed the names of relatives, Zhang Huan—who had beautiful handwriting—was the one actually writing the invitations. Zhang Bin also wrote down a list of his friends for her to add.
Father Zhang and Mother Zhang looked very well and seemed much younger. After all, Zhang Bin had them both take Spiritual Water during this time, and their health was gradually improving. Father Zhang, in particular, was almost fully recovered from his stroke and had grown much stronger, though he still felt a bit dizzy occasionally.
They planned to host the grand banquet in two days to celebrate moving into their new home.
「He was unaware, however, that trouble was brewing at the Longyin Martial Arts Hall.」
A Japanese man, who looked to be in his forties, strode into the entrance of the Longyin Martial Arts Hall with a Longsword hanging from his waist. He himself was like a sharp sword, radiating an icy aura. The two security guards didn’t even dare to stop him; a single glance made them feel as if their blood had frozen solid.
The Japanese man strode onto the Training Ground, his killing intent palpable. He bellowed, "I am Yagyu Ichiken from Japan, here to challenge your school. Does anyone dare to face me? If not, you can just close up shop."
The disciples who were training, along with several coaches, were furious and rushed over to confront him. At the same time, a disciple called Tian Bingbing. "General Manager, there’s trouble! A Japanese swordsman is here to challenge the school, and he looks very formidable!"
Soon, Tian Bingbing arrived, a treasured sword in hand.
"Does no one dare to accept the challenge?" Yagyu Ichiken sneered, his face full of disdain.
"I will deal with you," Coach Wang leaped out and shouted angrily.
Coach Wang was forty-five years old and had reached the Late Qi Refining Stage. His martial arts were highly skilled and his combat ability was strong, not inferior to Tian Bingbing’s.
"Do you plan to face my sword empty-handed?" Yagyu sneered.
"You want a sword duel?" Coach Wang’s expression shifted slightly.
"I have practiced the sword my entire life. I know only the sword, and my heart holds only the sword," Yagyu said proudly.
"But I am skilled in unarmed combat. How about we test that?" Coach Wang said gravely.
"You use your fists and feet, and I use my sword. Isn’t that fair?" Yagyu said shamelessly.
"You..." Coach Wang had never met someone so shameless; he was so angry he nearly spat blood. But he didn’t back down. With great bravery, he snatched the treasured sword from Tian Bingbing’s hand and shouted, "Come on! Let me teach you a lesson!"
Tian Bingbing didn’t stop him, watching nervously from the sidelines.
"Kill!"
The two faced off for a moment before charging at each other with a simultaneous shout, their swords thrusting forward rapidly.
In a flash of white light, Yagyu’s sword pierced through Coach Wang’s sword-wielding wrist.
CLANG. Coach Wang’s sword fell to the floor as he let out a piercing scream. Blood spurted from the wound.
Everyone was shocked. Yagyu’s sword was incredibly fast, seemingly on par with Turen Xiong, who had challenged the school in the past.
Tian Bingbing’s face turned deathly pale, and large beads of sweat dotted her forehead. She hurriedly had someone stanch Coach Wang’s bleeding and help him away.
"Ants," Yagyu said with contempt. "Is there anyone else who dares to fight?"
A chilly voice suddenly rose. "I will."
Tian Guangjin walked in, his face a cold mask. He had just returned to the school on some business and had walked right into this scene.
"Great, the Master is back!"
All the coaches, disciples, and Tian Bingbing breathed a collective sigh of relief.
Tian Guangjin was a mighty expert. Skilled with a sword and proficient in hand-to-hand combat, he could surely defeat the Japanese challenger.
Quickly, Tian Guangjin strode forward. He picked up the sword, still stained with Coach Wang’s blood, and faced Yagyu.
The two stood about five meters apart, swords in hand. Their eyes, sharp as hawks’, were locked on each other.
A chilling killing intent emanated from them, making the very air grow cold.
Some of the disciples and coaches trembled with excitement, their eyes wide.
This was bound to be a spectacular fight.
