CHAPTER 85: CHAPTER 0085: BECAME A MEMBER OF THE SPECIAL ACTION TEAM_1

The next afternoon, the sun was resplendent.

A booming sound once again echoed through the skies above Sanchahe Village.

A silvery-grey helicopter appeared on the horizon, arriving with an imposing roar. It landed directly on the flat ground in front of Zhang Bin’s house, kicking up a massive cloud of dust.

Fully armed, Qian Bing and Sun Tie jumped out in near unison. They were extremely agile, moving like two fierce leopards.

The villagers of Sanchahe were so astonished their eyes nearly popped out of their heads.

Zhang Bin’s friends are incredible! They don’t drive cars; they fly helicopters. They came last night and now they’re back again today. Don’t helicopters need fuel?

Zhang Bin came out to greet them, equally surprised and completely unaware of why they had flown in again today.

His gaze inevitably fell on their groins. They couldn’t also be missing their little ding-dongs, could they? Do they want me to treat them, too? Or maybe their little ding-dongs are too small, and they want an upgrade like Zhao Dawei?

Out loud, he said, "Brothers, what brings you here? Where’s Brother Dawei?"

"We’ve come to deliver your gun," Qian Bing said with a laugh. "As for Dawei, he’s busy with a matchmaking meeting. He didn’t have time to come over."

"Delivering a gun? You didn’t need to take a helicopter for that, did you?" Zhang Bin exclaimed, touching his forehead. The whole situation felt a bit absurd.

"We’re on our way to a mission and were just passing by, so we dropped it off. Otherwise, it would’ve taken a few more days to get the gun to you," Qian Bing explained with a smile.

"I see." Zhang Bin finally understood.

Sun Tie and Qian Bing then carried four cases from the helicopter into Zhang Bin’s room. One case contained one of China’s latest handgun models, while the other three were filled with ammunition.

Qian Bing also took out a black booklet and handed it to Zhang Bin. "This is your gun permit," he explained. "This way, you won’t have any trouble."

"A gun permit?" Zhang Bin took it curiously for a closer look.

The permit was a bit odd. It had a black cover with a red five-pointed star embossed on it. He opened it and saw the words "Special Action Team, 008, Zhang Bin..." along with his photograph, which bore an official stamp. Below that was a special phone number.

"If you ever run into something you can’t handle, like someone questioning your permit, or if you find someone threatening national security or an official committing treason, call this number," Qian Bing said.

"A gun permit has that kind of power?" Surprise was written all over Zhang Bin’s face.

Qian Bing and Sun Tie simply shared a mysterious smile without explaining further. They took Zhang Bin to a secluded spot on the edge of Great Green Mountain and taught him how to use the handgun, including maintenance.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Zhang Bin fired continuously at a tree, the bullets whizzing off into the distance.

However, after just a short time training under the two experts, he became an incredibly skillful marksman, hitting his target almost every time. Moreover, his draw speed was unbelievably fast, much faster than Qian Bing’s and Sun Tie’s.

This was, of course, because he had once used Longevity Qi to stimulate the nervous system in his arms. His reaction time was now much faster than the average person’s, and his robust True Qi enhanced his speed even further.

"Zhang Bin, you’re a natural-born sharpshooter! You were born to be a special agent." Qian Bing and Sun Tie were full of admiration.

They didn’t linger. After giving Zhang Bin some final instructions, they hurriedly took their leave, piloting the helicopter back into the sky. Clearly, they truly were on a mission.

I may just be a small farmer, but now I can carry a gun. Scaring off a few troublemakers should be easy enough.

Zhang Bin muttered to himself as he strapped the gun to his belt. He stood at his doorstep with his head held high and chest puffed out, full of swagger and self-importance. Just then, Xiao Fang came down from Mantou Ridge and walked past his house. He called out proudly, "Xiao Fang, don’t I look impressive?"

"Brother Bin, you’re wearing a gun! That’s illegal," Xiao Fang said, her face turning pale with fright.

"I have a permit, so it’s legal!" Zhang Bin boasted. "Here, I’ll show you."

With that, he pulled Xiao Fang into his room, quickly shutting and locking the door behind them.

Xiao Fang was utterly speechless. He obviously had no intention of showing her a permit; he just wanted to take liberties with her.

And she was right. With a wicked smile, Zhang Bin wrapped his arms around her, kissing and caressing her.

"No, stop, your parents will hear," Xiao Fang whispered, her pretty face blushing with embarrassment.

Zhang Bin’s old house was a simple red-brick building, drafty and with poor sound insulation, so she was right. However, Zhang Bin didn’t let her go, continuing his passionate embrace.

Xiao Fang couldn’t resist. Soon, she was lost in the moment and went limp in his arms.

"Master, Master, come on out! Can I play with your gun?"

Ma Rufei’s voice suddenly rang out from outside, followed by relentless banging on the door. He had just arrived and heard from the workers that someone had delivered a gun to Zhang Bin in a military helicopter and that his master looked incredibly formidable wearing it. Naturally, he was itching with curiosity and had rushed over, eager to play with the weapon.

Startled, Xiao Fang found a burst of strength from nowhere and broke free from Zhang Bin’s embrace. She quickly opened the door, her face flushed with shame. Keeping her head down, she scurried away without even daring to glance at Ma Rufei.

Ma Rufei stood there gaping, a sense of doom washing over him. He spun on his heel and bolted, for he saw Zhang Bin emerge from the room, furious, his fists cracking. He wasn’t stupid enough to wait around and get beaten.

Zhang Bin gave chase. With a flick of his right wrist, he sent a pine needle flying. It shot out with a WHOOSH and struck Ma Rufei’s calf.

All the strength instantly left Ma Rufei’s leg, and he fell to the ground with a THUD, nearly knocking out his front teeth.

Zhang Bin strode over, hoisted him up, and growled through gritted teeth, "You bastard. You’re always ruining my fun. Today, you’ll learn just how tough your master is."

The last time he was getting intimate with Liu Ruolan, this same pest had interrupted them with a phone call. He hadn’t settled the score then because Ma Rufei had been hauled off to the police station. But he wouldn’t tolerate it this time!

"Master, I didn’t mean to!" Ma Rufei pleaded in terror.

"Then you did it on purpose," Zhang Bin retorted furiously.

"It wasn’t on purpose, I swear! Master, please forgive me!" Ma Rufei begged. When he saw Zhang Bin’s face still twisted in a grimace, he started screaming like a pig being slaughtered, "Mistress! Mistress Xiao Fang, help me!"

Zhang Bin was suddenly so exasperated he had to laugh. This rascal has a whole bag of tricks. He really is quite a character. No wonder he managed to build such a huge fortune.
