Two months after accompanying Ores to the Central Star Domain, Tilan met Evelyn again.

"Tilan has grown up."

When the two met in the white courtyard, Evelyn began speaking in this way. She wore a snow-white long gauze dress, and her gentle silhouette was outlined by the dress, resembling a timeless marble sculpture.

"Hello, teacher." Tilan still remembered the days when she and Blanchi studied piano with Evelyn.

The two walked hand in hand on the young green grass, discussing the changes over the years.

"In the future, I'm afraid it will be hard to see Blanchi." Evelyn sighed.

Since the Western Star Region bid farewell to the Federal Center, Blanchi, as the core of the Western region, could no longer risk leaving there to come to the Central Star Domain. The same was true for Evelyn.

As they talked about the times the three of them spent together, Tilan felt a sense of nostalgia. Those university days might have been her most relaxed and pleasant times, without the various tasks and challenges of high school, or the hustle and bustle after graduation. She only needed to sit under the shade of a tree to read, and study and have fun with everyone.

"Tilan has become more mature." Evelyn remarked on the black-haired girl.

Compared to her youthful and quiet entrance to university, although Tilan's appearance had not changed much, her temperament was significantly calmer and had an enigmatic mystery. She also shed her past constraints, possessing a uniquely cool demeanor.

The two walked across the white stone slabs among the grass and sat on the railing chair inside a pavilion.

"Did you come back this time because you're worried about Ores?" Evelyn also knew about the news of Ores surviving.

"Yes, she can't remember a lot of things and is somewhat timid." Tilan felt more relaxed and comforted, thinking of how Ores was recently getting familiar with the Sedide Family.

"It's good that she's alive. You two have had a tough time; living in such a remote place must have been challenging." Evelyn looked at Tilan lovingly, almost wanting to pat her head, but she held back, given their changed status.

To Evelyn, both Tilan and Ores were like children because they were much younger than her.

"It's nothing. Although there were some trials, I've gained a lot overall these past years." Tilan slightly shook her head.

"Is that so?" Seeing Tilan's certainty, Evelyn gradually believed her.

"Then let's not talk about that."

After discussing the past, there was a brief pause in their conversation before Evelyn spoke again.

"What is Tilan's vision? Where do you intend to lead the people of the Southern Star Region?"

Evelyn didn't quite understand Tilan's actions. To her, if Tilan had stayed in the Central Star Domain, she would have been willing to give her position, so why venture to the Southern Star Region to spark conflicts?

"Me?" Tilan pondered slightly.

"I guess some reforms are necessary. If I stay in the Central Star Domain, the resistance is too great, and it's hard to accomplish, so I had to return to the Southern Star Region." For a songstress, lying was unnecessary, and Tilan expressed her true thoughts.

"If the resistance is significant, Idrylia and I should be able to help you a bit." Evelyn and Idrylia both believed in Tilan, especially after Ores's accident. They thought it most appropriate for Tilan to take that position.

Other songstresses were either incapable or inappropriately suited, facing many issues.

"This..." Tilan hesitated to reveal her ultimate goal, which was to completely change the Federation's system and the shackles of human gene editing.

"Is it difficult to say?" Evelyn noticed Tilan's hesitation.

"Then let's not discuss it." Evelyn comforted her, making Tilan feel a bit remorseful with her considerate move.

"There's a lot involved, and I'm afraid I can't explain clearly to you now." Tilan explained.

Then they shifted the topic to the recently emerging 'Qing Jasmine,' Xiang Ke'er.

"I've met that child a few times." Evelyn recalled.

"Her thoughts and ideas are very innovative, though they might seem rebellious to some of the older generation." Being gently called innovative by Evelyn probably meant it was quite radical, Tilan thought.

"Do you disagree with the 'Connector' methodology?" She guessed the technology and approach had been considered by the other party.

"Personally, I'm not very accustomed to it." The other person stood and slowly looked toward the distant sea of white flowers.

"I still prefer being alone, even if it makes some things more difficult." Evelyn spoke about her nature.

"I see." Tilan felt she was somewhat similar in this aspect but not as serious.

"So, what do you plan to do?" She looked up and asked.

"Let it develop naturally." Evelyn gently brushed the strands of her hair from her face, the golden threads twining between her fingers.

"If it reaches a point that affects basic order and public safety, I will intervene." Saying such words, she also made a significant decision, because, given her nature, she might forgive and educate unless it was utterly unforgivable.

Tilan nodded slightly, saying no more, as she was no longer operating in the Central Star Domain, and Evelyn, being a sort of 'guardian' songstress, only needed the other songstresses active in the Central Star Domain to listen to her mediation arrangements.

The two continued talking for a while, ending the more formal topics, and then moved on to some small talk until the time drew close to evening.
